I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will expect a refund of exactly $within weeks from the date it was issued, which will be no later than 4/30/15, as Priceline stated in their response.If I do not receive an email confirmation from Priceline regarding my refund as well as the actual refund by 4/30/15, then I will reopen or resubmit a new complaint.I would still appreciate an apology from Priceline's very rude representative *** who refused to acknowledge that I had any valid cause for complaint, refused to review the paperwork I asked her to look at, and eventually disconnected the chat that I was engaged in with her.I will never do business with Priceline again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of this.Thank you for your assistance with this matter

HiPlease see our summary of this case below Issue: - Customer’s airline requests on our website were rejected; however, she claimed that she was charged $for the
insurance.- Customer sent us a copy of her bank statement showing $charge from Priceline. Actions Taken: - I checked her record in our system (both accepted and rejected requests) and there was no record of $charge or authorization.- With SOD’s assistance, we checked Paymentech for any $transaction using her complete card number and no record found.- I called her bank and they confirmed $authorization from Priceline last Jan25, (same date that appears on the statement); however, unless they have the customer on the line, they cannot confirm if it was actually posted or reversed.- I spoke with *** *** and was advised that the bank confirmed the $being an actual charge; however, she refused us to contact her bank.- Customer no longer want us to contact her since she already disputed the charge. Resolution: - Customer refused to be assistedShe advised us to address the issue once her bank notify us of the dispute.- Case is closed for now

I am rejecting this response because: When a customer goes online to find a room in a hotel in a distant city, the way we can judge and compare prices are by the daily rate presented to us on the Priceline web siteBased on the ridiculous response from the company, I guess that the daily rate is only the disclosed information we are to base our decision onIt also indicates that if there are other fees involved such as MANDATORY VALET SERVICE, because there is no street parking and the hotel does not have free parking for their clients, we are just supposed to accept any additional charges the hotel decides to charge usWhat if the hotel said the room was $per night and then when you checked out they charged your card for $for parking? Are we just stuck with such a foolish policy? I agreed to a charge of somewhere around $for a two night stayAnd then when we got there at in the morning from the airport we were then informed that should we like to park our rental car we would have to pay another $for the privilegeI do not know about you, but this is very much a bait and switch kind of operationIt is unethical and should not be tolerated at any time in an ethical business transactionI will be contacting the *** Corporate Headquarters to advise them of the kind of practice involved in their operationIf I get no satisfaction there, then I will contact the City of *** licensing division to see how they feel about such unethical business practices going on in their cityI have all the time in the world to pursue this in every way possible and do my best to tarnish the reputation of *** and Priceline until I get satisfaction
