Spotify has been asked my many paying and unpaying members of its music streaming platform to allow filters for explicit/obscene advertisementsTheir response was to pay them money to get rid of themThis is not acceptable and is likely illegal since many families use Spotify to listen to music with children presentIn addition, Spotify also refuses to provide a filtering function in their platform which could be implemented easily due to the fact that songs are already labelled explicit but cannot be automatically skipped. They also base ads on Facebook connected profile age
Spotify needs to be held accountable for their disregard for decency as they have intentionally ignored users outcry for filtering or control over explicit/obscene ads and songs coming up without their controlTheir solution: buy premium
This is not acceptable and shows they don't care about their customers or family media decencyUsers should not have to pay for control over the adsFurthermore, expl
Bought $worth of Spotify gift cards for my daughter for Christmas only to learn today that if you have a student or family account you are not able to use the gift cards I contacted both Spotify and Target (where I purchased them) to no availOn Target's website under the details section it does not state that these gift cards cannot be used if you have a student accountTo me this is where this information should be statedAlso on Target's website it states the gift cards do not expire but according to Spotify's website they expire after months - not sure which is accurateAlso, why does Spotify care where the gift card money is spent; it is money to themBeyond frustrated!

I always pay my CC without looking at charges I just happen to see I have charges for $since April! I called my cc company and they gave me a number to call First of all I couldn't understand them, then they are forcing me to purchase things for $processing fee As I am recorded saying no they come back on the line to try and argue with me into saying yes The way I look at it, you owe me $for services I have not even used I do not have spotify and neither does my year old!!! I am also filing with my bank for fraud!!!!
I paid for a month subscription of $for the month of Jan-Feb and I was double charged, $once under a instant payment method and an additional $separate charge under a recurring payment for the month of January I was charged twice on two separate transactions for a total of $on the same dayI attempted to resolve this dispute but have been ignored with no response
Spotify has been charging two separate bank cards for two accounts I am unaware of Spotify offers no way to contact them regarding any billing issue I have searched the internet The phone number on my credit card is inactive I think this must be on purpose I am calling both banks to stop payment and ask for a refund
Hey,
We have responded to the user on February *** confirming that a total of refunds have been issuesWe will not be refunding any more than this
Thanks,
Spotify premium was canceled last month, we are still being charged with no way to contact any customer services reps, as the only phone number that can be located is listed on the bank account draft and when called it says the number is inactiveWhen logged into the account, it verifies that we are on Spotify freeWe have no other accounts with Spotify
Every time I play a song on my PC, it pops up on my smartphoneIf I don't catch it, it drains my battery
They advertise that if you sign up for a premium family plan which is the most expensive plan they have, they in return will give you a Google home Mini device free of charge, they advertise that the promotion ends on December **,but when I signed up for the required plan, even though it immediately after showed on the screen that I would receive an Email to claim the free device, they never sent the Email so I contacted them and they are now saying that the promotion finished on December **,but they still tell customers that they will receive the email that helps you claim your free device, they decided to end it but not to remove it from their automated response which it becomes advertising
HelloI mistakenly purchased Spotify for three months when I do not need it right nowI have access to a free trial of Apple Music which I want to useI don't like it but it's freeOnce that ends I planned on moving over to Spotify (not so sure anymore for the god awful customer service)So I emailed customer service and the representative told me she can cancel the subscription and give me a refundI gave her the information she needed such as the PayPal transaction number and zip code and I later got an email saying my future premium membership is canceled and I won't get charged once this three month membership endsCompletely irrelevant to what I requested and what the representative told me she would be doingi have never been so fed up and disgusted with a company before in my lifeThe emails just stopped comingI emailed the representative and she never emailed me back which prompted me to email Spotify twice more to tell them of my problem, both of which received no a
hello, in july ** of Spotify charged my credit card ending in *** $Since nor I or my husband have or want a membership with this company or know how or why they charged us I proceeded to dispute this with *** (my bank)Spotify did not answer the inquire *** sent and they ended up putting the charge againSince we do not have any charges nor do we believe our information got stolen we believe maybe my year son somehow clicked something and thats how it got charged, but again we don't have the app or an acct with Spotify
Spotify has charged my account twice, sometimes three times, since last October and I just noticed the charged last weekUpon trying to dispute this, I find out that a second account was made when I linked my *** to my accountThey assured me that I would be getting a refundAfter a couple of days went by, I checked my bank account and Spotify only refunded me one month's worth of the months they have been double charging meWhen I emailed them back to let them know that I only received one month, I was told that "It exceeds their day refund policy"This is horrible business practicesAs I dig further into this situation, I'm seeing that it is happening frequently, and Spotify is getting away with stealing people's money
I bought a give card at *** to help my student son who is using your serviceit turn out the gift card is not usable on my son accountI went back to *** today and the store manager explained me Spotify denied the refund even in store creditI am not a expert in different Spotify subscription, subscription model and other marketing incentiveA gift card should be use for the intended purpose, and limitation, if any, for the receiver of the gift should be clearI have contacted Spotify customer service by chat 1st then email and asked then to apply the gift card on my son account or refund meTheir answer at first was very confusing, explaining me they complex customer account structure and limitation of the gift card, and why I could not use itThen they proposed me change the type of account of my son to more expensive type, and complex mechanism to apply the gift card on itI expressed my concerns of their lack of integrity of changing my son account, who is over 18,

I've asked Spotify to cancel my account and they refuse to do soFirst phone call was conference call thru TMobile and they told me that my account was canceled and that I would have a confirmation email within minutes and that never happenedThe representative was very unprofessional while cursing at me2nd call the representative said that he was helping me cancel the account on my end, I advised him I was mailing anything in and he should cancel my account at this timeHe then said that there was a hold on my account and he was not able to cancel itThen he said that my account had been hacked by hackersI advised him I would contact the Revdex.comI just simply want my account to be canceled, Please!
Well I had a free account with them was going to listen to music on my smart tv but because its one of two series of tvs produced by vizio spotify requires a paid subscription for 14.99+tax per month I deleted my account as I only made the account for free music now its saying I cant have free music and use of their product says I either pay them or dont use the software based on how many people filed complaints for paid subscriptions im not joining their scam please do not use spotify unless you wish to be billed as their "free" version doesnt really exist out side of a few select devices
I HAVE SPOTIFY FAMILY PLAN THE WEBSITE IT SAY I COULD GET A FREE GOOGLE MINI IT KEEP SAYING We're sorry but you're not able to redeem at this momentTHEY LIE ON THERE WEBSITE ABOUT THIS I LIKE TO GET THIS FIX THANKS
Hey,
We're aware that the customer doesn't find our offer satisfactoryWe the user originally got in touch with us, it wasn't to cancel their subscription but to change their subscription to a cheaper priceWhen we outlined why they were paying the original price and how to get the cheaper price, they didn't respondFor that reason, we aren't able to refund more than the most recent payment.
We hope that makes sense.
Thanks,
