I spoke to ***: PlayStation warranties are not transferable and therefore there is
an out of warranty fee that applies. I also reviewed the warranty and terms of service.
*** declined to pay the requisite service fee and asked to have his PlayStation returned. I obliged his request; we will return his PlayStation without service

March 28, 2017: SIEA emailed the consumer at *** on March 20, @ 11:am (Pacific)We explained that all the charges came from consumer’s original console and from their household. They would need to pay off the debt to gain access back to the console

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: They refuse to honor the warranty that customers receive when purchasing their product
They had the right to use bogus reasons and the customers have no options but to accept their reason not to repair their product. Sony do not have to provide any proof. I think this practice have to stop. It's their word against the customers word. I realize that I am only one of Sony former customers but I believe eventually this matter will come more to lightI will spread the word and inform family, friends, co-workers, etcnot to buy their product. I'm glad to know that they do not value their customers
