I am rejecting this response because: I WILL ACCEPT THE REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT THAT YOU SAID YOU SENDING FOR $BUT I WOULD LIKE AN ADDITIONAL REFUND OF $FOR MY LAST TWO CLAIMS, THE FIRST ONE WAS $WHICH YOU ONLY PAID $AND THE SECOND CLAIM WAS FOR $WHICH YOU ONLY PAID $WHICH I HAD COVERAGE ON BOTH CLAIMS BUT WAS DENIED BECAUSE I DIDN'T CALL FIRSTBUT I DID AND STAYED ON HOLD FOR MINUTES WAITING ON A PERSON TO TALK TOO, THE REP STATED THAT THEY WERE BUSY AND HAD OVER CALLS FOR A/C SERVICE THAT WEEKEND, SO WHEN I FOUND SOMEONE TO COME OUT THE NEXT DAY FOR SERVICE I JUMPED ON IT CONSIDERING IT WAS DEGREES IN NEW ORLEANS AND HAD GUEST OVER FOR A FAMILY REUNION, I COULD'NT WAIT FOR DAYS TO HAVE MY A/C WORKED ON, THAT'S NOT RIGHT TO TREAT A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT WHO SPENT $FOR A YEAR MAINTENCE PLAN WITH YOU

The customer has been refunded all 3 payments.

We have made numerous attempts to find a technician for this customer. All technicians we have called do not service the particular area the customer is in. If you would like to secure your technician and submit a diagnosis for review we can proceed with the claim accordingly, or if you would like...

to terminate your contract we can proceed with that option as well and waive any cancellation penalties for the inconvenience. Please let us know so that we may proceed accordingly.

Select Home Warranty has issued a pro-rated refund in the amount of 291.00 on 2/11/2015 directly to the customers credit card.

The customer had an electrical issue on the patio which it outside  the living area of the home. Issue like that aren't  covered. We did approved a $125 good will reimbursement for the claim.

We did speak with the customer and explained section 9.1.2 of the terms , We don't cover installation Water heaters require periodic flushing. This policy covers mechanical breakdowns, it does not cover shelves, door handles, doors, hinges, knobs and buttons, door seals, displays, latches, timers,...

leveling equipment, clogged drains or lines, cosmetic issues, gaskets, leak searches, lights, noise, refrigerants, valves, dispensers, installation, electrical failures.The customer elected to cancel the policy and will be sent a refund check.

I am rejecting this response because:  In spite of the fact that Select Home Warranty assured us that a reimbursement had been sent out, we still have not received any correspondence, forms or reimbursement...

from them as of today - March 19, 2017.

Well pump is considered additional coverage per our contract. The customer has been approved per section 10.1 the full allowance for a replacement pump which is $400. Please have the reimbursement form signed and sent back so that I may process the reimbursement check for you.

I am rejecting this response because: the part could have been delivered within 2 days. I contacted another repair shop who claimed thy could have it next day. I believe this was intentional.

We did speak with the customer and explained why the issue falls outside of coverage. The customer requested to cancel so we have waived the cancellation fee as a good will.

We have removed from all marketing lists.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Refund check was postmarked 12/31/2015 and I received it on 1/06/2016.  I had to call the company regarding the $75.00 they were charging me for canceling.  Mr [redacted] was very helpful in getting that charge refunded directly to my credit card.

We have contacted the customer and it appears the check went to the wrong address. We are sending a new check to the customer.
