on 2/11/2015, we then secured [redacted], a technician thatreplaced the customer Thermostat in July.[redacted] Mechanical went out to the residence on2/13/2015, they determined that the unit needed a breaker and 2 heatsequencers. We did request maintenancerecords, which is regular protocol for HVAC system major repairs. The customer sent in a service invoice thatthey had the Panel Mount Breaker replace and added 10lbs of freon on 03/06/2014.We received the customers’ invoice on 2/13/2015 and advisedthat normal procedure is to review the claim, in these cases we advise thecustomer to have the work done and submit the invoice so that they are notwithout heat. Tell us why here...Select Home Warranty has fulfilled their contractual obligation and unfortunately the issue the customer is having with their system is not covered. The 45.00 is an agree upon amount that is owed to the technician not to fix the unit, but, to diagnose the issue, in all fairness the technician did do their job. The customer is entitled to a pro-rated refund due to the fact that we did send a technician out, they did assess the issue, and we provided the customer with information on their claim, they just do not agree with the Terms of Agreement they signed, stating freon and freon related issues are not covered.I have included factual information on damage that the compressor incurred from the freon being too low.
The customer is not eligible for a full refund as refunds are issued within the first 30 days of service. In addition, the customers account is no longer active as it expired on 4/23/17. In addition, the customer has been informed on numerous occasions when they filed their claim in 2016 that their...
claim has been denied per section 9.1.2 of their warranty agreement. No additional funds due at this time. This customer filed their claim in 2016 and no longer has an active warranty contract with us.

I am rejecting this response because it is BS! I still feel like this company is a scam! They sent me a $10 check for cancelling my policy with...
them. They never entertained the idea of paying the legitimate claim they were supposed to. I followed what I was told to do by their incompetent employee over the phone and then they say I didn't follow the procedure in the written contract. This is the worst company I've dealt with in my 43 years of existence.

The customer has already been approved for the maximum allowance per section 8.3 of their warranty. If they have any questions regarding this determination they can contact our office and speak with a claim or retention manager. No additional funds due at this time.
We did speak with the customer and approved a claim reimbursement.
The customer did reach the policy max on the first repair.
We spoke with the customer on 6/1. we are awaiting his invoice for the repair to review.
The customer informed us that they do not have any maintenance records. Per section 9.1.2 Select reserves the right to request maintenance records. Since the customer cannot provide any to us for review the maximum approved allowance on their claim is $150. If the customer can supply us with...
maintenance records as previously requested we can review their claim for an additional allowance.
I am rejecting this response because:They say nothing about the fraud committed by their...
contractor, the condescending conversations from their representatives, nor the unacceptable delays and broken promises of return calls. All I have received are empty apologies, inflated bills, and a still-broken oven.
I am rejecting this response because:
To start with back on april the 9th I setteled this claim or as so I thought. claim number [redacted] with Revdex.com new jersey...
asking select home warranty to cancel and fully refund me my money because they didn't warranty any claim I had made and they agreed. Called 4-30-14 to find out what is going on and they said I didn't cancelled but according to their emails and phone calls I did. So now they are saying they are not going to give me a full refund but a prorate refund. That is not what I agreed to. Also the 100 dollar refund for the garage door opener they are refusing to refund that either. Not happy at all with this company just want my money back in full so I can go to another better company. looking online a t ripoff.com and there is a bunch of complaints against them saying the same thing that they will not warranty anything and will not give back a refund. this I think is a crock of crap and needs to be resolved.
will not accept any thing less than my full refund of 400 dollars as though I already spent around 500 to fix all the things that they was suppose to warranty. Will not accept anything less then this don't even ask!!!!!!!!!
