In addition, is there a new phone number that we should update on the account? Please let me know as soon as possible...

1) Select Home Warranty acknowledges that the warranty was transferred in our name in May 2015, with the purchase of our house but insist they need 3 years of maintenance records from us. This is not even logical. Their warranty agreement states that they have the RIGHT to request maintenance records, not that it's MANDATORY. 2) I've attached a copy of the Select Home Warranty agreement which clearly states in section 6.1.1 that the items covered in the policy have to be in PROPER WORKING ORDER. I've also attached a copy of the HVAC section of our home inspection that proves it was in PROPER WORKING ORDER when the contract was transferred into our name. They still denied the claim, I was told that a home inspector isn't qualified for this.3) I asked about a refund since they were not honoring the policy. I was told it had to go to a different department, which I could not contact directly. I asked how much would the refund be and was told I had to wait for the department to contact me via email. I received the email that let me know they were refunding the original purchasers of the policy 9.98. When I said I would not cancel the policy if that's all they're going to refund I was told it was too late, it was already cancelled. If the original purchasers of the policy have to be the ones to receive the refund then so be it, but they should be refunded the entire $399 amount they paid for a "warranty" that Select Home Warranty did not honor.
The customer has been fully refunded back to his credit card.
the customer has already been fully refunded back to the credit card.
The customers refund check was mailed out to them on 10/24/17. The customer advised us that they did not receive the check. A stop payment is currently being issued on check #[redacted] and a new check will be mailed to: [redacted], VA 22192 which is the address the customer provided. No...
additional funds due at this time.
The customer cancelled the policy once we asked the cusotmer for maintenance records, the cusotmer has not had any maintenance performed on the unit and we approved them for 150.00 per the Terms of Agreement. On 11/17/2015 we assigned a technician to the customers home and they stated they did not want tot work with the customer any further and would refund the 45.00 to the cusotmer as they do not want to deal with the customer anymore. The customer got a local technician to go out and assessed the unit needed a control board for a blower motor, we requested maintenance records per the Terms of Agreement, and the customer requested to cancel.Select Home Warranty has refunded the customer on 12/29/2015.
I am rejecting this response because: I was told a refund check was mailed out on 12/22 15. As of today 1/8/16 I have not received the refund. No one at the company is responding to my inquiry in...
tracking the check, how it was mailed- which it should have been overnighted considering the difficulty. The 2 days for holiday mailing would cause sure a great delay. I have 2 family memebrs who works for the postal service - I doesnt take this long.
We did speak with the customer and approved a reimbursement.

I am rejecting this response because: We have different definitions of "working." At this point, when turned on to cool, heat shoots out and makes the apartment even hotter when the A/C is on. There is no cooling effect whatsoever. It reaches up to 120 degrees in Phoenix, AZ. It was 117 degrees just the other day and it is only June. The A/C is absolutely 100% not working. I was called this morning and they once again insisted that my A/C works and is just old.

The customers reimbursement check is scheduled to be mailed out this week. If the customer still wishes to have their contract cancelled please confirm so we may proceed accordingly.
Per the diagnosis received from the customers technician [redacted], the unit needs maintenance related repairs & freon. Both of these items are not covered under the customers contract. No additional funds due at this time.
We spoke with the customer and helped with a reimbursement for the claim.
Customers can cancel at any time. We have reached out to the customer and are awaiting a call back
