Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
As of 9/29/17, the disputed amount has been transferred back into my account by Select Home Warranty. While I accept this response, I still warn anyone before doing business with this fraudulent company as evidenced by my stated experience.Regards,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: In my initial conversation with the salesman [redacted] I was told that Select Home Warranty would cover the cost of any repair to my home excluding structural damage, all appliances, plumbing , electrical would be covered. If any items could not be repaired, they would be replaced. In one issue my stove could not be repaired,,,, they offered $125 to replace it. Impossible! From the beginning I had extreme difficulty getting a service tech to come to my home. Twice techs arrived $45.00 per trip were paid by me for the visit, they left and NEVER returned., $90.00 totally wasted. After many unpleasant experiences I ask for a refund on the policy, I was promised a refund from a manager, Mr, [redacted]. Finally I received only $425,00 for a policy that I had paid $1499.97 for.I am due a refund of the difference less $240.00 = $1259.97They added ridiculous fees and charged me for months that the policy was not in effect. Please help me collect from this unscrupulous company.
Regards,
[redacted]
The customer has agreed to accept the 150.00 for the claim, we will process the reimbursement and expedite the payment to the customer.
when I did have the policy in effect was when I qualified for the claim and the date it was cancelled followed the time I sent in the claim. the business claims they never received my receipt for the microwave credit however they promised to fix it and did not instead they promised 100.00 which they are backing out on. further I have not received any refunds on my credit card at all. they are lying when they say they returned my money for the policy premiums.
I have had to go to a pulmonary specialist due to my air conditioner not being functioning. the company refused to provide me with a technician to repair the air conditioner system . they told me to FIX IT MYSELF , and wait for a possible refund. this company is illegal and scandalous, and should be subject to criminal charges for fraud and embezzlement.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and accepted their offer of $300. This is not satisfactory to me but appears all they are willing to...
do. Select Home Warranty is a terrible company to deal with.
The customer purchased the policy on 11/4/2015 and requested to cancel on 12/17/2015 well over 30 days. The customer also cancelled due to the fact that we do not cover valves, which clearly is stated in our policy. We charged the customer only one month, the cancellation fee and the amount we have to pay the technician that went to their home. The cancellation was not due to lack of service but that the customer did not agree with the Terms of Agreement that they signed. See Below:6.3.3. Heating System (Primary Only). This Agreement covers all module, components and parts of the heating system necessary to the functionality of the heating system. This Agreement covers the primary heating system of the covered home only, provided that the heating system does not exceed a five (5) ton capacity. This Agreement does NOT cover solar heating systems or the components thereof. This Agreement does NOT cover any portable heating units or zone systems or wall units or components thereof. This Agreement does NOT cover fireplaces or heat lamps or the components thereof. This Agreement does NOT cover radiant heating systems built into walls, ceilings or floors. We have approved the customer for the $150 maximum payout for this claim according to the terms of the agreement.
We have sent the reimbursement to the credit card ending [redacted]. Please allow 3-5 days to post to the account.
The customer has been informed several times that their claim was not a covered issue. The customer was informed that the issue was a valve problem and it is not covered per section 6.2.7 for their warranty.6.2.7 Water Heater. This Agreement covers all modules, components and parts of the water...

I am rejecting this response because:
I have requested a full refund within the contractual 30 day requirement of my...
contract a minimun of 4 times already, I have no reason to believe Select Home Warranty's written response will result in satisfactory results until I have physically/actually received the refund I have requested.
Until then, I wish to keep this complaint, as well as the case I have filed with the Kansas Attorney General open until I receive the refund I have requested.
The customer has been approved in full for their pool claim.
The customer spoke with a representtaive yesterday and the customer will be hiring their own technician. The customer was informed of the process and will submit the necessary paperwork. No additional funds due at this time.
Select Home Warranty has mailed the check to the customer as of 1/28/2016.
Select Home Warranty would like to apologize for the misunderstanding on our part.We will immediately contact the customer to resolve the matter and assist in any way we can.
This is to advise that the subject complain has not been resolved. After the initial complaint was filed I was contacted by Select Home Warranty (SHW). I was told that [redacted]...
[redacted] would be out to service my washer but there was a 2 week waiting list. While not completely satisfied I agreed to this extended delay.Since the two weeks has elapsed and I had not heard from [redacted] concerning the repairs, I reached out to them yesterday 10/10/17. I was advised that SHW had indeed contacted them but had not provided the work order. Therefore [redacted] thought the matter had been resolved. Select Home Warranty is not only failing to live up to the terms of our agreement but in my opinion, Select Home Warranty is damaging the reputation of [redacted]. When I contacted SHW to advise of my conversation with [redacted], I was assured that someone from SHW would return my call within 30 minutes with an appointment date/time. As of the email I've not heard back form Select. I am not sure what can be done other than to continue to voice my dissatisfaction with Select home Warranty and hope that this will be published to caution consumers to be weary of SELECT HOME WARRANTY.
The customer has been approved for their claim. The customer has signed the reimbursement and their check is going to be mailed out this week.
We did speak with the customer and helped with the claim.
Select Home Warranty has been in contact with the customer as of 5/7/2015, and advised the customer to send in their invoice for review.
Both charges have been put back to the customers credit card. please give it a few more days to post.
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: You mentioned contacting my contractor, Please call him. He is the one who gave the records when I asked. My first complaint was Select did not want to pay again. I had a front bearing replaced was one claim paid out. Then a diff bearing went out and they did not want to pay saying same issue. Their contractor did not even want to deal with them cause his claim to me was Select never wants to pay their contractors and that is why he refused to work them again. It took over a month of me constantly calling regarding no response from contractor and same from select. I finally had to hire a contractor of my own and pay out of pocket. I did my research and Select has hundreds of complaints for same issue. I did not try to commit any fraud of any sort as I had to pay money out for a new heater. The fraud is with Select home warranty. They advise will cover any unit regardless of age or condition. When you sign up that is the statement you give. If I just bought this house I would not have records from previous owners. So this case you would never pay but the consumer pays for the service not knowing nothing will be covered. You wanted to contact my contractor to prove he did the repair, so contact him. He can prove he is only one to work on my units over the years. Select is fraudulent in their service and refuse to pay out. Select did not even offer to pay half of my amount. All they offer is $100. I read the claims against them and same issue as I have. Why are we paying for a service that they state will cover until when it comes time. AGAIN YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE MY UNIT HAS BEEN MAINTAINED AND CLEANED. Who are you to say you don't like the sequence and automatically not pay a claim I have paid service for. Select false advertises their warranty. a 14 year old unit would not last this long with out being maintained or cleaned that is just a fact. Numerous contractors state they have the same problem getting paid and that is why they are not prompt on call backs. I was told even by their contractor to find another warranty company to deal with cause this will keep happening. I am asking for a reasonable decision.
