We left the customer a few messages regarding this issue we have not heard back. The customer may call [redacted] and speak to Mr [redacted].
The customer should be receiving a call shortly from a contractor scheduling an appointment to diagnose the stove. We require a diagnosis on the stove so that we can proceed with the claim. I have escalated this request to our dispatch team and someone will be in contact with the customer shortly.
Select Home Warranty sent a technician to the customers' home and we have not heard from them since 02/01/2016, we will follow up with the cusotmer.
I am rejecting this response because:I did purchase the coverage for plumbing system. I did not purchase the optional plumbing fixture coverage.Their description in plumbing system is very broad, and they did mention the coverage of leakage. The did list the plumbing fixture in the contract in section 6.4.1. There are only three items listed in the list, including facuet filter, shower head and shower arm. The description of plumbing fixture is very concise and clear.I am having leakage in two facuets. Since faucets are not listed as plumbing fixture, they have to fix it as part of plumbing sytem. They cannot define something as optional only becasue they think so. They have to follow the contract. They cannot say the descriptions in the contract are meaningless, and they can define anything as optional if they like.
I am rejecting this response because: I paid in Full $463.20. You refunded one installment payment of $154.40. Please explain to me after I requested a full refund in April after months of poor customer service or I should say a lack of service, you are now saying 1 of my partial payments is a full refund. I will now let the Attorney General's Office take over.

The customer has been issued a full refund to their original form of payment. They should be able to view the refund on their credit card statement within the next few business days.
the customer was already given a pro rated refund. We have increased that refund to give another $90 to the customer. the credit of $90 was put back to the customers credit card. Please allow 3-5 days to post to the account.

I am rejecting this response because:
HHow much is 13.is the amount from 499.00 dollars plus 45.00 .The services are not yet recovered or have select chosen a contractor it's been over 3 weeks when they agreed to this contract they stated they had 100s of contractors working for them .So why am I still waiting. No this business deal is sour and they have not lived or provided their part of the contract. If it was me wowing them it would be settle and they would have me in court or collections. No they are wrong and still no service has been given. Requesting 400.00 to settle out of court.

As we previously stated the damage caused was done by the freon and that is a freon related issue, we are unable to cover any damage caused by freon.
We did speak with the customer and explain why the ac problem was not a covered issue. We will waive and cancellation fees and refund her last months payment.
Select Home Warranty is very pleased to hear that the customer has received their payments, we do apologize for the delay on our part in mailing the payments as we did explain to the customer.
We did speak with the customer and approved them for a higher reimbursement
Customer has been approved for a $150 reimbursement towards their claim which has been accepted. As soon as the signed reimbursement form is received we will have a check mailed out.

My complaint was contesting the amount of refund they are issuing me. They also...
promised on Jun 2nd, 2017 that I will get an email with the cheque number as soon as the cheque is printed. So in short, the response was short on specifics about wether they intend to fix my complaint and even that they didn't follow through with an actual email. This is the kind of customer service I experienced during 8 - 9 months of my relationship with Select Home Warranty and the main reason why I decided to cancel my contract with them. My complaint specifcally asks for a full refund because a customer should not be held accountable if they cancel due to horrible service and responses.
Tell us why here...On 03/02/2015 the customer placed a claim for their washingmachine, we assigned a technician and they diagnosed the washer as needing anouter tub and stator motor. Select HomeWarranty determined that the repairs exceeded the actual value of the washingmachine. Select Home...
Warranty did explain this to the customer andadvised that we have followed the Terms of Agreement in this matter.The customer does not agree with Select Home Warrantys’findings, but, they did send the Terms & Conditions back signed andinitialed that they reviewed and agree with the Terms set forth.Select Home Warranty has entered the customer account intothe cancellation process.
