Samsung has reviewed Mr*** complaint in regards to his Note phone Our system shows the agent assigned to the claim spoke with Mr*** on 10/18/to discuss the case. The agent advised Mr*** that after reviewing his file, the only option at this time would be to send in
the device for service Mr*** declined mail in service and asked for a walk in center The agent informed Mr*** that the only service center located in his area is in Torrance, CA The agent provided Mr*** with the servicers’ address and phone number and advised him to contact the servicer before driving to them to check the availability for repair Mr*** asked the agent what he should do if the problem isn’t fixed. The agent advised Mr*** to contact Samsung customer service for further assistance. In order for Samsung to provide assistance we will require the handset be shipped to the Samsung Repair Center for evaluation if the issue cannot be resolved by simple troubleshooting, or the service provider cannot provide resolution. If the phone is still within its one year
manufacturer’s warranty period, and repairs fall within the warranty guidelines; repair service will be rendered. As the manufacturer our obligation is to repair the unit, but we must be able to determine root cause for the issueAdditionally, if you have insurance through your service provider, some providers do offer a replacement policy on phones which need servicing. In some cases, they may send out a replacement phone and the defective phone is sent back to them in return. For more details on a possible exchange, please contact your service provider.If you would like to send in your handset for evaluation please contact Samsung Customer Support at ###-###-####. I am rejecting this because:The reply is totally in error!This is not cosmetic!-the glass crackpressure applied-nothing dropped-just poor quality as with the others items we have.(refrig-dishwasher-microwave).They have never satisfied any other problems.I will pursue this with all other government and consumer advocatesI even asked if they would just supply the part and I will install reply! Samsung has reviewed Mr*** claim in regards to his dryer. The agent handling his claim explained that the recall for the dryer does not include a full refund or exchange of the unit. Samsung’s (2) recall options are either a FOC (Free of Charge) repair w/ 1yr warranty
extension or the rebate towards the purchase of a replacement unit and are non-negotiable. Mr*** has declined both options at this time. No further accommodations will be made other than the aforementioned. Samsung has reviewed Mr*** complaint in regards to his washer. Our system shows the agent assigned to the claim spoke with Mr*** on 10/03/to discuss the case. The agent submitted a service request; reference Txt# *** for the unit. Unfortunately,
mold is considered a maintenance issue and is not due to the functioning of the unit. After the service on the unit, the agent sent Mr*** an email on 10/11/informing him that the mold under the drum is not covered under the warranty and does not prevent the unit from functioning as it is designed. Regrettably based on this information, no accommodations can be made for this claim.
