The store manager at the Rooms to Go Kids Department Cheryl was very rude to me as the customer and her employee
On 2/14/I walked into the showroom floor of Rooms to Go KidsMy order number is XXXXXXXI approached a female employee whom I thought was Katherine, who I had spoken with on a previous visitI couldn't remember exactly how she looked so I asked her for her nameShe gave me a funny look as if I was invading her privacyI asked her did she work there, but I was sure she did because all the employees were wearing red shirtsI told her I was looking for Katherine and she directed me to herI thought that was very rude but I didn't speak on it After getting my order placed, there was an issue with the delivery charge.I got a delivery charge of $online but the store gave me a price of $When I brought that to Katherine's attention she called a manager over to assistThe manager was from the regular rooms to go sideHe told us that the reason for the price

This was my first time shopping at rooms to go and I was approved for financing/credit card; (the sales associate at the store was unprofessional as well mentioning he was surprised a young female was approved for this account)On SeptI placed an order for a full, leather, couch, living room set and ottomanThe sales associate/manager informed me that the orders would have to come separately due to not having them in-stock at the timeThis was no problem; so I was charged S&H for each (2) transactionsThe 1st order arrived the 1st week of OctoberTwo of the couches arrived damaged (the legs were broken)The delivery personnel were very nice (we even offered them water), left the couches and promised to follow up with me so that they may bring undamaged couches which I paid forUnfortunately no one from customer service or the store followed up with me and I waited past the weekend for the next business dayWhen I spoke with customer service, they were very short and insisted their was no big issue stating we are bringing the new couchesI explained to them I am pushing my entire house warming event back (embarrassingly) because the couches are not safe to sit onTwo of the couches have broken legsI did not order or pay for broken couches periodSo customer service offered a $fee for inconvenience the following day after I called them again to follow up being that my new couches were not scheduled for delivery I had to do thatThey then transferred me to the store manager Roy, in which he apologized and promised to send me a check for my full refund for the S&H feeIt is now 11/(a month after ordering) and I have yet to receive any refund other than the $inconvenience feeI called customer service again (because no one followed up with me) and they claimed to have no idea what I was talking about and were very rude (please listen to your phone recordings; your customer service personnel (with the exception of a few) are very rude and seem displeased to be at work/do their job)Lastly, they transferred me back to Roy and he claimed to have forgotten our conversation (customer service - Bryan claimed Roy did not leave any notes in my account)For the third and final inconvenience he rushed me off the phone and stated he will only refund $additional dollars to my accountThen he said he could do that today via my Rooms to Go account when back in October he said I would have to wait for a checkWhen I requested a receipt for this transaction, he stated there is no way he could send an email or annotate the account through the system and instead sent it via personal text to my phoneThis is very unprofessional, an outdated system and not to mention a distressing account of poor quality customer serviceWill not be shopping with rooms to go again

I reached out to customer service and after waiting for a tech and waiting for them to call me back I was informed scratches are not coveredThe tech that came out did not even touch the table he barely looked at it took some pictures and said customer service would call meThe is no way the tech could tell from feet away from the table if they were scratches cause from use or if it was a finish problem that was making the table so easy to scratchWhen the customer service rep called me she was rude not very help

I recently purchased over thousand dollars worth of furnitureThe contracted delivery service did deliver on the scheduled date however, I had to take time off work in order to be home to accept deliveryThis is where it gets bad Upon delivery, the dresser was badly damaged and I was forced to accept it with the premise that an exchange would be completed I was contacted by their customer service who informed me that a delivery time could not be scheduled, only a delivery date they said I would receive a call two days prior of delivery date to inform me of the delivery time however, I cannot take off work that easy in order to accept delivery I told them that it was not my fault the furniture was damaged and I should not be inconvenienced further by having to take off work yet another day they didn't care and said I had no recourse they have lived up to their responsibility of replacing what was damaged only it was on their termsI am now having to wait over a month to use this furniture there are many choices of where to buy furniture, the only thing that separates companies is customer service I would gladly pay many times over what I payed with them for appropriate customer service I predict after reading many of the same negative reviews here that this company will eventually go away do not spend your money with these scam artists run!!!
