Salesman told us equipment charge would be taken out time per month for monthsI didn’t see the concract that was supposed to be emailed to meI haven’t received any email from ADT! After my complaint to them, they sent me documents titled Requested Documents, not ADT or Defenders Inc!
The equipment turned out to be instead of totalWe tried to get them to take out the extra equipment but they refused! They said the salesman lies a lot! They also said it was too late and I told them if I had known the 3rd pmt would be taken out, I would have cancelled on time! We are elderly and on a fixed income on disability! My husband is and disabled because of his back! I am disabled because of Severe Depression and Anxiety!

I am super excited to finally have the protection my family deserves We've talked about home security for years but we finally took the step to protect what we've worked hard for, BEFORE a break in occurred The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the process easy to understand My kids are older teens but I now have the added security knowing they have a panic button if they're scared or they can activate the security system while they are home

Under the name of ADT this company was soliciting in our neighborhood in HelotesEven though our neighborhood has a large "Do Not Solicit" sign, they carried onWe explained that we were not interested, and the salesman very rudely said to my wife " Ok, God forbid anything happen to your family"This came off threatening and ulvery professionalI called the company to let them know what kind of people they have walking the streets, and Tim would not do anything to jelp but try to sell me servicesDo NOT do business with this company

Sometime after May 1st I received a letter which I initially thought came from ADT SecurityThe letter was special offer as a former ADT customer to reactivate my security monitoring systemI read through the offer and on May 9th called the number provided to discuss what I read with a representativeAt the time I thought I was calling ADTHowever, I in fact was calling one of their authorized dealers Defenders, dba Protect Your HomeThe letter I received does actually indicate this, but not very prominentlyRegardless I discussed the offer with one of their representatives and was told that if I reactivated my system someone would come out to check the equipment I already had in my home to make sure it was working and then they would install two new digital keypads for the systemI was also told that monitoring for the first months would be $19.95/month and then would increase to $from months through as it was a year service contractI was also told there

I have a contract with ADT security company ( defenders inc dba protect your home) for 3years and it is defferent from when I contrated by phone a first the installation fee will give you free gift cards I want to and receive gift card so I honesty hope you have gift card and Customer Id-***

Had security system upgrade installed on February 6, and pointed out to the tech that the system was showing "trouble" alert signal Tech stated once the new equipment was installed the trouble indicator would no longer show Thirty minutes after tech left my home a trouble indicator light came on along with a constant beep I texted a picture of the indicator light to the tech and was told to wait thirty minutes before the light would reset itself and go off The next morning the trouble indicator light was still on so I text another picture to the tech and told him that I would phoned the company to address this issue I phoned ADT/Defender for this issue and was put on hold for an extended period of time, talked to harshly and transferred to 2+ numbers before I could get help February 9,tech came out to downgrade me and fix the trouble - he down graded me - state that he fixed the trouble - the system trouble soon showed up again along with a continue beep I imme

nI was interested in purchasing an ADT Home Security System and responded to a flyer from ADT I spoke with a representative who provided his name, Chris ***, and ID#*** giving me the sense that I was speaking to a legitimate individual that I could reach out to again if necessary Chris discussed my needs and the package details He schedule a technician for the next day The technician installed all the equipment and then drew up the paperwork The cost was more than I expected and I also did not qualify for some of the promotional items I signed a DocuSign agreement on Nov anyway because the equipment was already installed and I also was comfortable that I had an ADT home security system - wrong! Home Defenders came too my house on 08/10/too install ADT Home Security.,On 01/we were having problem with it so ADT scheduled a apton 01/31/for service repairADT service r tech came too my house and informed me that the towers was updated and can no longercommunicate with my equipment,need too install more ir wires in wall and a antenna, my landlord said no more installed,ADT tech informed me that I have a month money back guarantee satisfaction so he then disabled my service and informed me too contact customer service., which I did and they state that's not true, but they are goibng too charge me a early termination fee, I don't see how its my fault of the contract if the equipment no longer will communicate with towers anymore.They will not work with me and I have contacted my credit card company too freeze them form taking anymore money

On October 8th I called into defenders because of an advertised promotion they had for home security systemI recently let my other company go because they were getting too expensive; had a break in so I needed new serviceI decided to call inThe guy got got me in and asked me what was I looking to get I explained to him everything I had from the previous companyHe got me approved and got me in for the $installationI constantly asked him about one of my services (door lock) and he kept brushing me off like just talk to your tech about it so I said okThe tech arrived on 10/and listed everything he was to install and to my surprise the door lock wasn’t on thereSo I said I needed the door lockAfter he takes down my old equipment and installs ADT then he says there is$activation fee for the door lock (even tho I already had one)I said that wan not communicated to me when I signed upI called in the following day and asked why is that necessary as the previous company included all that; they said it’s just an activation fee that needs to be paidSo basically I have buy a door lock - so they offered me two gift cards - that probably won’t arrive to me for another weeksSo like my house ‘armed but not locked’Fast forward to today when I am looking at my statement and it’s higher it’s dupposed to beI called and asked why is my bill high than what I was toldThe rep said well because you have the ADT pulse app which allows you remotely arm your houseI asked him at what point were they going to tell tell me that just to use an app was gon cost me an extra $on my bill (mind you the promotion was $but they said they had to charge me $because I don’t have a landline)Then I asked him about my thermostat which is another feature I asked the sales associate aboutHe says to me that’s not something they offer in my areaSo I would have to buy a thermostat out of my pocketThere is NOTHING they can do for meSo now I am stuck in a contract paying more than what I was quoted, a door that I can’t lock and thermostat that I can’t change - where it’s getting colder and I can’t even adjust my heatI have two young kids - this is not cool

We have had several issues with this company from the startLet me start by saying I was out of town on my way home when the young man came to our home and set up the instalationHe put different sensors in the wrong place one was a smoke detector was placed within foot of my stove and a motion sensor was placed in a spot that wouldnt pick up half the room .when he was done he asked my wife to sign his invoice and she did (sign her name ) well then he came back with he needed her to sign my name , I was traveling and unavailable so she didnt want to then his company sent it back and said she needed to sign my name to the invoice.Tthey did send someone out to fix that issue with the sensors but about a week later we kept getting alarms, we called and reported it after ADT called and told us it was going offafter several times of this happening I called and told them to cancel my service and to please pick up there faulty equipmentAbout a month later I received a bi
