Very courteous technician who gave helpful explanation of your technology Not high pressure sales or scare tactics Technician had some challenges with installation and had to call for someone to help him Was a long evening on a Friday night from 6:00-10:but they got the job done

Throughout the life of the contract; I expressed by dissatisfaction with this companies customer service and billing practices When I initially began my contract; I had the ability to pay my bills through the Corporate ADT mobile app; which I was able to do for approximately months After which point I was told by ADT Defender customer service that they will now own my account and that I can no longer pay through the mobile app to pay my monthly monitoring fee I was then told by Defender that I would have to wait until my contract expires; cancel my service with Defender; and then start a contract with Corporate ADT if I wanted that convenience of mobile app pill pay I then had to then set up electronic checks to be sent from my financial institution; so that I pay for the monthly monitoring fees I completed my year contract services with ADT Defender this month on May 16thI contacted them to verify my end of contract date and to ensure my account payments were up to dat

I signed up for ADT, but am getting billed from Defenders I get a quote online for a smaller number, then they come in and tell me that for my house it will cost double the price I trust ADT, I thought I am get a legitimate number quoted, but find out from my friends that it will cost less if I went with the real ADT Then they told me that my equipments that are supposed to be included in the installation price is now $more I told them I dont need the anything but the basic equipment included in the installation process I was told by the person who installs the system that I must get the extra equipments of the system will not work!!! I cant believe I was lied to twice by now!!!

salesperson started naming things I didn't want, I told her I was not comfortable and she said I could tell the technician when he arrived that I didn't want it and they would not charge me She said she was going to put on a recording and that I didn't need to worry because none of it applied to me since I was using my own equipment She said she needed a credit card to prove I was a serious customer I asked for a receipt or confirmation of payment and she said she would give it to me I repeatedly asked for the confirmation of payment and she threw me into an automated loop
The next fast talking salesperson said they don't give receipts or confirmation emails When I asked for the manager, Dustin, who refused to give his last name was very rude I requested that this transaction be canceled because I don't trust the salesperson or the manager, Dustin #*** said it would take 10-days to process a refund and they have a recording of me authorizing the purchase I said he should also have a recording of me saying that I didn't want any of the products; just the activation and that I would cancel if I could not get a receipt I told him to cancel my payment immediately
My banker said they processed the payment immediately and I now have to dispute the payment I will dispute any charges to my credit card because I asked Dustin to cancel this transaction
Let it be known, I never purchased or agreed to purchase any merchandise I repeatedly told the salesperson that I only wanted to activate my existing system and would absolutely not agree to any new equipment--and at the mere mention of new equipment from the technician, will make me tell the technician to leave and I will not enter into a contract
It's bad business to charge someone $before any services are provided and refuse to give the customer a confirmation of payment and refuse to give his full name so that the customer has a person to reference for the transaction
I will never do business with this company and never refer anyone

If I could give them no stars I absolutely would they're the laziest most difficult customer service ADT should be ashamed to have the binder of business with such a disgrace to the ADT corporation name..make defenders a department renamed to sound like they are like "worthless" #nevergettinganotherdimeofmymoney

I have encountered numerous issues with this alarm since it has been installedTechs have come to my home several times and the issue still has not been resolvedI am constantly awaken in the middle of the night by the alarm beeping because there is a connection issueI tried writing an email last week to the company regarding this matter and automatically received a message stating to call insteadI am under contract which would require me to pay over $1,to end my contractHowever, since I do not have faith in this product and it has caused me nothing but stress, I would just like to get out of my contractI do not feel that I should have to pay any early termination fees or penalties if I was not provided a quality product

On a recorded phone call with Marcelllus (Case Ref # ***) I was given pricing of $27.99/mo for security monitoring I asked him or times for verification that this pricing was "for a landline with cellular backup" He confirmed each time and reiterated that as long as there was a landline that I would have the $27.99/mo plan and that it "would include cellular backup" I was very clear that I would only have a security system with cellular backup
Once I verbally agreed to move forward with them to schedule an appointment for their installation team to come out and install, they needed to run a credit check I agreed for them to run a credit check at this point Let it be noted, that I ONLY agreed to let them run my credit based on the sales price which was quoted

Reimbursement request was made 7/23/ It was denied on 9/27/and I did not learn of this until I called and spoke with the management team on 10/8/ They refused to take responsibility and did not explain the basis for the denial, nor were they willing to accept it was an erroneous denial despite incontrovertible proof that a technician subsequently came to my home to install a repeater to fix the pre-existing alarm issue Additionally, the alarm was not supposed to report to police at the time that the alarm went off because there had been earlier issues with the alarm that ADT had already admitted, as a result of which they had turned off the automatic reporting until such time that a technician would come out to install the repeater Still, the police officer stated that someone from ADT had manually called the police station to send them out to my home This happened despite ADT knowing that the alarm was having issues and needed repairs, which were subsequen
