I have been incredibly dissatisfied with the service from Protect Your HomeThe front door sensor works half the time and I've already had technicians come out twice to fix the problemThe issue has not been fixedEach time I have called in to get a technician out, the first person I have spoken with has been rude and doesn't listen to what I'm sayingInstead they choose to talk over me and proceed to talk with an aggressive toneI'm forced to call back in to deal with someone elseWhen you install a security system, you would expect the front door to be the main focus but this has not been the caseI've had the security system for less than a month and the front door has been secure for less than half of that timeI am at a point where dealing with the rude customer service is no longer worth the secure feeling they offerHow many times do they need to come out before they leave a customer feeling safe? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The reasons stated by Protect Your Home are falseI have record of contacting ADT regarding non functioning equipment and service repair requests for the following dates:05/13/1307/18/1308/10/1308/17/1309/17/13After each call, subsequent repair visits were made to my homeMy husband contacted ADT/Protect Your Home on 09/17/twice, once for repair request and the second to have our bill credited for equipment that never functioned properlyI have since contacted ADT/PYH on 11/4/regarding new equipment and moving my services where no resolution was found as PYH loyalty department never returned phone calls or made contact by mailI then contacted ADT/PYH on 12/27/and in January requesting a response from PYH loyalty department which I never receivedOn 12/27/I spoke with a manager at ADT whom advised suspending my auto debit payments awaiting response from the loyalty departmentThey never contacted me I also emailed a manager by the name of Dana N*** on 11/04/and received no responseI provided two alternate phone contacts as well as email address, none of which PYH contacted meAlso, mail from my former address is forwarded to my new address and no mail correspondence has been received.PYT failed to provide a solution or exhaust arbitration in this matter after my numerous requests for resolution.

This company is a third party provider for ADT Alarm ServicesThe company came to my house and installed two security camerasWithin a week we determined that the camera quality and security service was not satisfactoryI then called the company Defender to return their product and request a reimbursementThe company arrived to my home to pick up their equipment and informed us that the refund would be processed within business days from the return of the equipmentThe refund has not been processed yetIn the last month since the products were returned I made contact with the company at least two different times and spoke with a representativeEach time I spoke to a representative they were not adequately informed of the amount to be refundedIt has been over a month since they retrieved their equipment and no refund has yet to be processed
Technicians removed existing security control panel and power source before presenting a $3,upgrade charge to their “free” security packageOnce we told them we weren’t interested they packed up and leftOne problem, they stated it was a liability to put back the panel how they found itAfter multiple levels of “customer service” I was told that their was nothing they could do and was promptly hung up onI was told I couldn’t speak to a manager because I didn’t have an account with themI even offered to sigh up for one day so I would have an account to get this issue resolvedSo after the past hours of dealing with this horrible company, I have a appointment with my old provider with a reinstall service charge pending PLEASE do NOT use ADT! Or at least don’t let them touch your equipment without the up front cost in writing with a signature
I ordered am ADT system back in December It was installed the week of Christmas A contract was given to me to sign because they were to come back out and do some other things I had a monthly fee taken off my American Express Card fraududantly, it was not the rate that was quoted to me and I did not authorized for this money to be taken off my credit card Fast forward I have been sent to collections I requested a copy of the alleged contract that I signed I was told by Defenders on 7/24/that it would be emailed to me in hours I also called the collections company and requested it as well I called Defenders back again the next day still haven't received contract, I was told it takes hours I call back days later and was told they would not have the information the collection agency would I called the collection agency *** * *** I was told that Defenders pulled the account because there was no contract on file

These guys are fraudulent They have a supervisor come on the phone and tell you one thing They sold me on a system Then I get another guy on the phone and he would hook up my old system then when service guy comes out they don't do that Told me they would install my lights and touchpad Did that happen- of course not They get here and I have to pay another dollars to do the system and then tell me I have to do the rest myself and pay more money even though they sold me on something completely different
just a big scam tell you one thing and do something totally different you call customer service to try and get resolution and the lady says do what you need to do...we will send you to collections....seriously? that is how you treat a customer...unbelievable

If you are within your three days get your money backThey make you pay for things that you are not told about prior and they nickle and dime you for everythingThe first day I had several issues the technician signed for me and they did not make me aware of what was being signed he had an attitude the entire time and made several mistakes as far as installation and glue was everywhereThen when I moved to my new home, over the phone they told me when I was moving to take my own equipment because they were going to replace it anywayI moved atleast minutes away from my old home and they day of the new installation they went to my old home to take down equipment and I was at my new home waiting on them to do the installation, they refused to leave and come to my home until they were let in my old home and I had all of the old equipment with me, they still wanted to get in and see what was there which again was nothingSo I had to drive 50+ minutes out of my way to let them in for minutes and then drive all the way back another 50+ minutesI then was charged twice a month for two different locations and I realized months later and was on the phone for hours back and forth between ADT and Defenders ( Protect Your Home, Authorized Premier Provider), I was then finally able to get someone who was willing to get me the proper refund that came two months laterI also was charged a S&H fee for a $gift card that took almost months to get to meI was then called about a permit now mind you I had paid the permit when it first got installed in my old home and they said I had to get another permit in my new home, didnt understand why, but I said okayThen they called I asked for a bill in the mail because I wanted proof of the **I still have yet to receive the bill and they have now made my account inactive, they sent that in the mail but not my billI am livid to say the leastPLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They take your money in two ways, either you keep paying them until your or years contract endOR they tricked you to cancel the contract
