I order a security system in March and was quoted a price of $I happen to look at my bank statement online and they have been taking $monthly from my accountI called in and spoke with several people that told me I ordered extra service when the technician came out, but this is not a true statementI asked them to send me the contract where I signed for extra servicesThe contract they sent me was all forged signutureaThe tech never had me sign any documents & I never order anything extraI spoke to the ADT retention department they said I was signed up for some app that goes on your phone but they can see in their system where I never signed up or utilize this serviceThat was because I am totallly unaware of the service

Protect your home- SWITCH & BATEI recently contacted ADT security to enquire on installing a new security systemI was advised that it is $27.99/month for monthsI was scheduled for the install and within days a technician from "protect your home" came into my homeHe quickly went to work and installed a keypad in my homeHe then came and told me that price is $I advised that I was quoted $He said that was not possible because I don't have a landlineI advised him that I already went over this with the customer service rep prior to setting up the appointmentI asked him to remove his equipment and leave because they were being deceptiveHe took out the keypad and left a 5" hole in the wallI asked him to fix it and he said he did not have "stucco" with him and got in his car and drove offI called customer service and was unable to get any assistanceI now have a 5" hole in my wallWhen I contacted ADT they advised that because he did not finish the work I am not a customer and they can't do anythingAll while they have charged $on my credit card which posted as “ADT”But when you call ADT corporate office they acknowledge that they have a lot of complains from Defender/protect your Home, they are a 3rd party companyThat is absurdIt’s okay for a 3rd party vendors to use your name and destroy people’s homeADT corporate is definitely part of thisThey are quick to drill holes in your wall and take off runningDon't use themStay AWAY from this company I would rate them if that was an optionThey need to be out of business

I am a new client with ADT and ADT installed a new service on 6/11/We had Monitronics before and having no issues with them for past several yearsI am upset with your ADT services since your system was installed that pickup faulty signals all the timeThe night, they installed the system, alarm went off all night, time to time and no one can sleep including your carbon monoxide signalPolice and city fire department showed up in the night for no reasonsThe system didn't work and called many times for serviceFinally, I requested the third day around 4:45pm to cancel the service immediately by providing all the info and ask to take all your equipment backBut your cancellation Dept stated that they need to have a cancellation form faxed over without providing me the form, address or fax numberHow in the World someone cancel the service without any informationI have contacted your customer service many times to get any ADT fax number to request the cancellation service

Hi, my issue is that I had ADT security system installed Nov 3, by the representive John *** or ***, I canceled my system after I received my contract in the mail on the 7th of November in which I had three days to cancel after I received my contractI called the same day I received my contract and canceled so now I have to waited for a representive to come and uninstall my system The representive came today Nov 15, and he took the alarm system and the chimes and the sensor over the front door, I asked him can he put my old one back up or another one to cover the hole in the wall where my old one was and the sensor he then called John and asked him what he did with my old one, John said he didn't knowThe rep told me to call the cancellation office and they would send someone out to patch my hole and I said I don't want a patch hole I want my old system on the wall, I think that is unsat for them to do that

I had ADT come to connect there alarm system in my home not even days ago, I had also had to call them back because I noticed a delay in the back door alarm systemI was told that they would send someone out to check on the alarm and that never happenedSo on 7/at around 9:45pm my home was broken into and all my things were taken and my daughter was home alone she had to jump under the bedWe no longer feel safe in our home and I want a refund and to outed of the contract

I purchased services from this company and recently movedI forwarded the company my new mailing address to forward correspondentsProtect your home failed to forward correspondents to my new addressI finally received a letter dated 2/25/which was forwarded from my old address demanding paymentWhen I attempted to call and move service and settle the bill I was tOld this matter was sent to collectionHow do you send items to collection in under days and deliberately not send mail to the correct address? Now you are attempting to ruin my perfect credit rating and your customer service team is horribleI have attempted to call several times and nobody will help

We found defenders, an ADT authorized Dealer in the phone book, called and set up installation in JuneTo make a long story short , many attempts were made to provide us with a working system but they were unsuccessfulWe were very patient and gave them many chances to get our system installed and working Through out this process I have made numerous phone calls and have felt like a fool for allowing myself to be taken advantage by this companyWe were set to have everything removed in October but were assured they had all the problems solved and would resolve our being double charged for some of the equipment Finally in November after our system still failed to work we had them remove everythingI could go into enormous detail of all the things that were done wrongMy problem now is getting a refund for the returned equipmentI keep calling to speak with someone about the money I am owed and discuss charges on my credit card statements that prove how much I have paid them

Even though the main person I got a chance to work with Danny was perfect the rest of defenders are just rudeIt totally negates the good work Danny didI had over 10k installed on two houses of mineBecause of their poor communication and attitude my house currently is unsecured due to a malfunction in one key componentI have already paid for itHad I not called them for their failed installation it would have stayed unsecured for ever10/for the Tech who installed it but the rest of defenders and customer service are negligent Andy flat out rude and that’s who I will have to deal with for a long timeADT won’t get into this because defenders are the installers

Protect Your Home installed camera equipment for us The equipment didn't work, so they agreed to uninstall it and give us a credit for the cost, approx$ That was months ago and I still have not received the credit I have called at least or times (to Protect Your Home and their contract partner ADT), and each time Protect Your Home claims that there was some new paperwork error and that the credit should be coming shortly It never comes I no longer know what to do to make them actually refund the money They just keep promising it will happen and then don't do it This is no way to run a legitimate business

I believe they have made a bookkeeping error in their accounts receivable department or they have an issue with their credit card processing company but they apparently refuse to explore that avenue

I had a feeling he was a scam from the beginning smh DO NOT BELIEVE THESE GUYS THEY SEND there's no gift card The only thing that was kinda legit was the $gift card for installation that the promotion offered but we paid 108$ for installation and they require u to send a copy of ur contract and a money order of $for shipping and handling' took about weeks to receive
