Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for responding, however I don't think there was any confusion involved, more like deceitYou blew right pass the core of the complaintWhen you advertise rates and use words like "Total Cost" and send confirmations using "Paid in Full" those words are used to convey something to your clientsSuch as, this is how much your room is going to cost if you book through usYep, you buried on your web page, in small print, disclaimersThere is the rubI am to show up for a room you advertise as "Paid in Full" but you know there will be a "mandatory" fee of some unknown amount charged me upon my arrival in addition to what you charged (and if I don't pay these undisclosed fees the hotel will charge me for the room anyway because I am now unable to give the required time notice for a cancellation)Priceline puts their clients in contracts while intentionally hiding parts of the cost as silent fees their affiliate hotels will collect for them, a really underhanded way to keep your advertised rates lowwell, you did convey something to this ex-client; you sell products under promises you know you are really not going to deliverInterestingly these fees, the $per night, was not just their "Resort Fee"It includes $ [redacted] ***, $Tourism Assessment and a $ [redacted] *d, your Summary of Charges also includes $in taxes and feesDid the City of [redacted] receive the Taxes you collected from me twice for the same room for the same night? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I still find Priceline's business practices very deceptive and unfair All I wanted was to rent an economy car at the lowest price given my trip itinerary Any standard desktop website is supposed to be fully functional and offer all services Priceline's standard desktop website offers express deals on hotels but not on rental cars Upon looking at their website on my mobile phone, I noticed express deals offering economy cars for the same dates, times, and location at a much lower price It is unacceptable that they don't implement express deals on rental cars on their standard desktop website They need to fix this immediately I have been a customer since and have used Priceline every year since then Apparently, they don't appreciate my loyalty and patronage I expect superior customer service but it has been nothing short of deplorable thus far in their handling of my concern and complaint They should do the right thing by honoring their lower express deal price of $instead of my $price by refunding the difference of $over the days including taxes and fees.Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This was an "Express Deal" and not a name your own price deal In addition, Priceline does not provide a complete listing of the hotels that are within the selected area with the grading for the hotels that you may be accepting the purchase By not having a complete listing you can only go by what is listed as available on their website By not having a listing the consumer has no information on which hotels fall with the star rating that you are agreeing to reserve a room with In addition, the hotel which was an express deal was not even listed on their website So the assumption is that you will be awarded one of the hotels that is currently showing on Priceline with the star rating shown As stated before, I have gone into the Priceline website and I have not found this hotel listed as being available to reserve a room from Sincerely, [redacted] Theisen
