I am rejecting this response because:
I was not presented with this information when I booked this room. Priceline did not provide me with adequate information at the time of booking or I would've never booked a room with this method had I been made fully aware that I could be placed in a "smoking room." Priceline made no attempt to have me confirm by initials or electronic signature that I could be placed in a "smoking room" which may negatively impact my health. There was no such warning of this clearly displayed on the reservation or no pop up that would have advised me of this at the time of booking the reservation. As the hotel clerk originally stated Priceline booked the "smoking room" because it was hotel's cheapest rate. I WOULD NEVER JEOPARDIZE MY HEALTH OR ANYONE ELSE'S HEALTH TO SAVE A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS ON A HOTEL ROOM! I strongly feel as a non-smoker with major health issues related to others cigarette smoking, the remnants of cigarette smoke, and my asthmatic condition that I've been discriminated against! The hotel room being booked should be defaulted as a "non-smoking" room and the guest or the person making the reservation should be made to request for a "smoking room" if that is what they require. Ultimately, Priceline has no regard for their customer's health and only care about making themselves money at any expense. Finally, that room that I was put into would've never passed any acceptable air quality standards even if I had been a smoker. The hotel room in question had not been properly cleaned, sanitized, laundered or ventilated prior to my arrival. The room literally smelled like someone had been chain smoking in there and it hit me like a brick wall the very second I opened the door and entered the room! I would like a full refund because the room that I booked was in an "un-stayable" condition. Had I had actually stayed in that room my health for sure would've have been negatively impacted and I would've ended up in the emergency room getting treated for breathing problems related to that hotel room.

This is regarding your request for a partial refund of your purchased Collision Damage Insurance.
After careful review of your concern, we decided to process a partial refund of your purchased insurance. The refund will be based on the unused days of your rental. Based on Budget's record, you picked up your reservation on February 7, 2015 at 12:29 p.m. You returned the vehicle on February 15, 2015 at 3:02 p.m. Rental car reservations are charged per 24 hour time block. The time the vehicle was returned resulted in an additional rental day. This means that you have a 9-day rental.
Collision Insurance (per day): $9.00Unused rental days: 19 days (28 number of days booked - 9 days used)
Refund: $171.00 (19 days x $9.00)
We forwarded a refund request for the amount of $171.00. This will go through a review process. You will be advised of the outcome of the review within 14 days. Once the refund has been approved, it will be processed through our system within one business day. The refund will be processed back to the card used in booking the reservation. You will be receiving email messages from us with updates of the refund request.

I am rejecting this response because:We both made a rental car reservation in error for the same trip to [redacted], on the same day 12/1/14, when we should have made only one reservation; so we immediately contacted [redacted], Priceline, and [redacted], in an effort to cancel one of the reservations, as we both intended to use only one vehicle. When we go on vacation, we use one vehicle, so we are together; I do not drive in one vehicle and my wife drive in another. So from our perspective, it is a duplicate reservation. When we initially contacted Priceline on 12/1/14 to cancel this duplicate reservation, they did not say "it does not appear to be duplicate"; what the Rep told us, was that "we have to put our request in writing". So why are they "playing smart" now.The dates for both reservations was the same, but when were actually in [redacted], my wife extended the reservation that she made, as her vacation stay was for a longer duration, hence the reason why the reservation date was extended for the vehicle we both used.Priceline's record will show that I never picked up this rental vehicle, because we did at the Priceline Rep advised and requested the cancellation in writing, in good faith that, when I placed the cancellation request in wiring, they would honor it. We are petitioning Priceline to think of us the consumers, and issue a refund, as we immediately asked them to cancel this duplicate rental car reservation on 12/1/14.

We have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, we have again reviewed this
matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable
conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence. The consumer selected a hotel reservation
that does not include pet friendly accommodations. Attached hereto is a copy of
the consumer’s initialed contract page authorizing the terms and conditions of
the purchase, including the cancel policy for the selected purchase. We are
sorry that we are unable to assist the consumer any further in this situation.
