matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable
conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence.
Priceline
offers a variety travel service options, including our Retail
service, where consumers can select his/her preferred hotel from a list
of competitive prices across a wide range of hotels. 
In this
case, the consumer selected a reservation that provided greater savings and
less flexibility.
When you purchase
a reservation using our Name Your Own
Price® service, you do not have the option to change or cancel the
reservation. Unfortunately, once a reservation of this type is booked,
Priceline does not have the ability to change or modify the reservation.
We evaluate each participating hotel on many different criteria,
including guest satisfaction. We have researched to find that this hotel does
meet our expectations for the 3 star rating selected on our website. Our
competitors also rate this hotel as follows:

Additionally, the consumer assumed that when selecting a Name Your

We were told by John at the Front Desk that no concerns were brought to their attention, so no refund can be offered. Since the hotel is not willing to offer a refund back to priceline, we are unable to offer any type of compensation back to your account as requested.

I will expect a refund of exactly $77.98 within 2 weeks from the date it was issued, which will be no later than 4/30/15, as Priceline stated in their response.
If I do not receive an email confirmation from Priceline regarding my refund as well as the actual refund by 4/30/15, then I will reopen or resubmit a new complaint.
I would still appreciate an apology from Priceline's very rude representative [redacted] who refused to acknowledge that I had any valid cause for complaint, refused to review the paperwork I asked her to look at, 
and eventually disconnected the chat that I was engaged in with her.
I will never do business with Priceline again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of this.
