This still does not help the situation. Price gouging is not a good business practice, just because the customer doesn't know any better doesn't excuse fair pricing. For priceline to claim that they have the best prices, overcharging by 50% is nowhere near fair or a great deal.

We understand you are requesting for a refund of the difference between your original ticket cost and the new ticket you had to purchase because the airline cannot locate your mother's airline ticket. We reviewed your information and confirmed your reservation was canceled for a refund in the amount of 731.06 USD on May 27, 2016. Our records indicate that the cancellation was processed with a cancel fee of 50.00 USD. In addition, the processing fee per ticket was refunded in the amount of 7.00 USD on June 17, 2016. The refund was processed in two separate transaction that would amount to 738.06 USD. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me at all.
Professionals( Price Line) people were contacted for Vacation Package. They issue Itnery with a spelling mistake with  a operator supported booking. When immediately contacted to issue revised Itnery with correct Names, the advise of customer service was that one or two words mistake does not matter , moreover they are conveying the same to airline with a assurance to me that I will have smooth journey, which did not happen.
Why should the Price Line be not only be made responsible for this professional and financial misconduct wherein they bagged their commission,Airline charged their fare, Hotel also enchased the business and poor consumer is left to sulk and cry over made to miss his trip, although paid for.
I am wiling to go to any length to mitigate this loss and suffering .

As I stated in my last email, the only two 3 star hotels that were available were the Spring Hill suites and the [redacted]. The [redacted] that they I ended up with was not a three star hotel in that area the month or more before while I was bidding.  I'm pretty sure it was a 2 and a half star but it was not a three star.  I would check to see what hotels were three star on the whole site not just name your price area and it was always just the two that I named.

I am rejecting this response because:
Let me shed some light on some of the facts involve in this particular situation
As I previously mentioned that I never raised my bid more than $55/night and it got rejected but they charged me for $60/night for the room, I do not know how it went through.
The screen shot image that they have attached is a common form that is displayed, even when we loose the bid. So it is mandatory to fill that form.
I am not sure how it has the calculation as per $60/night on there.  I tried to explain the representative that there might be some technical glitch, but they didn't listen any word of mine.
Yet I humbly said the customer representative that it might be my mistake since I am completely new to this site and have registered just an hour ago and I responded within 5 mins of the booking.
But the way they spoke to me was little rude (as per my point of view).
I do understand their business model since I have worked in this environment my self and I really look up to these kind of companies that provide such an ease when it comes to booking online.
I do understand that there are other customers who might take wrong advantage of this kind of service and might cancel a reservation when it is quite close to the date.
But at the same time I also feel that the business should also consider genuine kind of cases, like mine, where it is easy to understand that when a person is trying to get the issue to your notice within 5 mins of booking,
it must really mean something, isn't it.
On my end I was also trying to think in favor of business too.
I tried to explain the same logic to the customer representative, that my booking starts from 30th April which is one and a half month from the date, and hence the business will not incur any loss.
Moreover, they argued that I should have bought their cancellation insurance but their cancellation insured booking is $90 per room per night, which does not make any sense to buy it, when you are trying to get a room below $55 per night.
I would really appreciated if they would consider my case and also have some permissible window, after booking, where people can get issues to their notice and get it rectified. 
Moreover, I just have a some queries to clarify with them:
What is the use of the feature if the customer is not happy.
The customer shares his credit card details with a trust, what if he accidentally selects a deal which he realizes is not what he wanted or something which he hasn't selected. Is he all responsible to trust you.
I really admire that you are providing this service of booking online rentals and making it easy, but don't you think that you should provide a little more flexibility.
Thus, as they were not able to reflect on:
How my card got charged $60 when I never went above $55
How does their cancellation policy is so non-customer oriented and completely neglects technical and human error.
and Even the cancellation insurance they have doesn't make it reasonable for most of the cases.
I would like them to respond and get this issue resolved at earliest possible convenience.
