We are writing to let you know that we have received your Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices. As we understand, you have concerns regarding the star rating of the hotel and you would like to be refunded for the reservation.
We provide hotel chain examples for illustration of what you may expect when choosing a star level. We do indicate that the brands shown are only examples and may not be a part of our program. Every hotel is different and not all hotels within a certain chain have the same star level rating.
We checked your reservation and verified that the hotel has an average guest rating of 8.7 which is based on actual reviews from customers who have booked on our site and stayed at the hotel. We assess each property on many different criteria, including cleanliness, guest satisfaction, decor, etc. and our hotel ratings are actually stricter than other national rating companies.
We contacted the hotel and they advised that you checked in early and stayed in the room for around 3 hours before you checked out. The hotel did not allow a refund since the room was used for a few hours.
The reservation that you purchased is truly restricted which is non cancelable and non refundable. This information was provided on your contract page prior to booking. For future reference, we suggest that you choose from a list of itineraries on our website where the name of the hotel and price are displayed prior to purchase so that you can choose a specific hotel.
As a gesture of goodwill, we processed a full refund of 74.78 USD for your reservation. Your refund will be processed by our system within one business day and your bank will post the refund back to your account.
Bank processing time varies so please check with them if you don't see the refund posted to your account within the next few days.

I am very disappointed with the customer service at Priceline.com. I booked a hotel for a trip I was going to take. A couple days before the trip, friends told me that they saw the prices for the same hotel were cheaper on Pricelines website. I called Priceline. They said that the "low price guarantee" was only good for 24 hours from the time I made the booking. They would not give me the current advertised price no matter how much I tried. They would also never transfer me to a "manager". I spoke to 3 different customer service people and realized they were all reading from the same script. All stating that they "understood" my issue and would have the same concern, but never attempted to help. Just stated that their "policy" was only 24 hours and therefore I was not entitled to a price adjustment
I decided I would cancel the reservation and rebook it but was told that the cancellation needed to be done the day before for a full refund. They would now be charging me a $299 fee to cancel.
I will never be using them again. Over a few $ they have lost a customer and I will be telling everyone I can not to use them. They are NOT customer friendly

I feel the hotel was misrepresented by Priceline. When I signed the acceptance of Priceline's no-refund policy, it was with the understanding that I was purchasing a hotel that included "brand names and independent hotels similar to:

I was given the [redacted] Tree, which scored a low 64% satisfaction, horrible reviews and photographs of a rundown establishment. I feel Priceline is deceptive in it's marketing by hiding the name of the hotel and stating it will be of a certain quality, then delivering something wholly different. If I had known it was the [redacted] Tree, I never would have made the purchase.
I have attached photographs of the above mentioned hotels to illustrate the vast difference in quality between the examples given by Priceline compared to the [redacted] Tree.

I am rejecting this response because:this is about false advertising. I chose this deal when an image and copy flashed up on my screen with the words that specifically said the [redacted] Airport. The actual location might be 7 miles away, but it is within a National Park, so it takes 45 minutes to 90 minutes to reach this location. This is 100% misleading information and I made my purchase based on this false pretense that the car would be at the airport.
No business should mislead their customers this way. It's a bait and switch tactic. Thousands of upset customers on their [redacted] page everyday. We rely on organizations like yours to correct these bad business behaviors.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], however, until I have received a refund for half the airfare as described, I do not feel that this complaint is resolved. It has been 7 weeks since we were notified of the change in the flight and offered a refund for the unused return flight. I was told initially that it would be between 5-7 business days to receive a refund and it is absolutely unacceptable that I should be having to call 2-3 times a week for the past 7 weeks to obtain the refund, and still no resolve. The response I have just received from [redacted] is the exact same response I have been told by both Priceline.com and Singapore Air every time I have called since December 7, 2015. I am having a difficult time understanding how it can possibly take this long to get the information to the correct person who can actually process the refund in a timely fashion, which means within a few days, not months.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was offered my return flights to be reinstated for a fee of 200.00 per ticket AFTER I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. I feel that the airline and Priceline should have offered this before I was forced to incur further costs but buying one way tickets to [redacted] for the same day.
If they could offer this to me once a complaint was filed, why wasn't it offered before I had to spend another $1300.00?
I FELT THAT I HAD TO UNDER GO UNNECESSARY DISTRESS BECAUSE THUS WASN'T HANDLED PROPERLY AND AM ASKING FOR SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION . THANK YOU
