We have received the consumer’s additional comments.  As you requested, we have again reviewed this
matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable
conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence. Please note that the consumers selected
an Express Deal reservation, and not a Retail purchase where consumers have the
option to select specific amenities. We are sorry that we are unable to assist
the consumer any further in this situation.

So they are saying they beleive the hotel rather than the customer who did not stay there. Did they say I stayed there or even checked in? Why would I need to pay if I never checked in? your contracts with your customers should supersede contracts with small hotels who keep their buildings like slum. You may save the 400 for the hotel but you will lose $25,000.00 over the next 3 years in travel I will not be doing with you. I have spent 5000.00 with you in the last 3 months alone.
I will take this to the next level of complaints and online revies if this is not resolved immediatly. I do not have time to waste on this. Fix it or kiss me goodbye as a customer for me and my complete family and you will be receiving more online and legal complaints. My lawyer said he would file suit since I never checked in and he said he can recoupe the legal fees from you. Don't be foolishj at your size. FIx the issue and take the loss to keep a customer who spends thousands.

We have received the consumer’s additional comments.   Priceline.com is a travel agent, and as such, makes hotel room rates available on behalf of the hotels. With our Published Price service, consumers have the option to shop and compare rates as well as quality/guest reviews/amenities, including any parking fees charged by the property prior to purchase. This Airport location property location does not offer or guarantee free parking.

you state you "make every attempt to notify me" but didn't notify me, I NOTIFIED YOU! So, what exactly does priceline do for the fee you receive when I book from you.; you didn't do your job. Furthermore, I had to call the airline to find a different flight myself. So, what exactly did Priceline do? You also state that airlines change schedules, I have never had to deal with this when I book through [redacted]. So why does your company have such poor service? I simply wanted the flights I had booked through you or compensation for my inconvenience. I did not want those flights, I wanted to cancel but was informed I would lose my money. We had a binding contract and you broke it, so what exactly is your business practice, to take my money for an agreed contract and if things change oh well? It seems as if as long as you had my money you didn't care what happened to my trip.

Thank you for responding to my concern.  From the time that I knew I wouldn't be able to fly I immediately called customer service line for Priceline to let them know that I did not feel safe to fly in my condition. Rightly so, I was coughing and dizzy and very very weak, I drove myself to [redacted] Hospital emergency room and was seen by the attending physician on call,  although the physician said I wasn't contagious, I ran a fever of 102-103, I informed the nurses as well as the physician to descibe that I couldn't make my flight because of it. They provided me with an excuse as well as what my symptoms were.  I would have called Priceline right after I got back home, if they had said that. I was more than grateful for that. The medication was [redacted] with [redacted] so from the time I left the emergency room , waiting to get the presciption filled I was incoherent and just wanted to go to bed. I was bedridden for at least five days, I have the documentation from the hospital stating were I was and who the physicain was, and the hospital bill as well as the prescriptions.   I am asking Priceline to refund me the money, or credit for future travel, since they stated that they would.

qualify for the Best Price Guarantee, the rental car has to be same rental Car
Company, car type, rental location, pick-up and drop-off dates and times. Since
the lower rate you found was with a different partner, your reservation did not
qualify for a refund in the different rates. We confirmed the reservation you
have with Hertz saved you $211.64 USD or 61.79%. We are sorry if you are
unhappy with the total charges; however, your reservation is non-changeable,
non-refundable and non-transferable.
 
I know you expect a different answer; however, there are
no other options that I can offer because of the restrictions.

We understand you are requesting for a refund of your
reservation and additional compensation because you advised your room was
double booked and was booked for the wrong dates. We reviewed your information
and verified that the check in and check out dates booked were the same dates
requested prior to purchase. Please note that our ability to change or cancel a
reservation would depend on the cancel policy presented and initialed prior to
purchase. We sent you a separate email that shows a copy of your contract page
for review. Your reservation was booked for check in on January 24, 2016 and
check out on January 25, 2016. Your reservation is prepaid and was guaranteed
for the dates requested prior to purchase. The hotel informed us that you
arrived on January 12, 2016 and made reservations through them as a walk in
guest for that night. The hotel informed us that they charged your credit card
for the room and tax. The hotel informed us the reservation purchased through
us was a no show and is non refundable. As a one time exception to the cancel
policy, a refund request of your total reservation cost in the amount of 96.71
USD was submitted to our management team for review, and if approved, the
refund will be processed to the card you used to submit your request. This
process can take up to 14 days. We will try to expedite this process. Once the
refund is approved, your refund will be processed by our system within 1
business day; however, it may take up to 5 business days for your bank to post
the refund to your account. We apologize, we will be unable to issue further
refunds or compensations.

patience while resolving this issue.

indicate that the consumer chose dispute the purchase with the credit card
issuing bank. Once the consumer enters into a dispute with his/her credit card
issuing bank, with the intent not to pay for the purchase,  the reservation is cancelled.   I am sorry that we are unable to assist
the consumer any further in this situation.

Airline
flight schedule changes and flight cancelations are often unavoidable and
beyond Priceline’s control. In the process of providing air service over many different
routes each day, airlines sometimes encounter mechanical problems, and other
unavoidable interruptions. These are situations faced by all airlines and no
carrier can guarantee that all flights will depart and arrive as planned.
In
conclusion, ultimately all issues concerning airline flight schedule
changes/cancelations must be addressed directly with, and borne by the airline
in question.
