I understand that you wish a breakdown of the taxes and
fees that were charged when you agreed to the reservation booking on the
ChooseARoom.com web site. This web site
is an affiliate of priceline.com that uses the priceline booking reservation
system to assist customers in making hotel reservations. I am sorry that priceline cannot offer you a
breakdown of the taxes and fees. The
taxes are simply the amount the hotel charges priceline for the room rate you
chose and that tax amount is passed along under that category on the Summary
Page that was displayed to you prior to the purchase. The fees include the profit margin that
priceline must maintain in order to maintain a reservation booking system and
make a profit to stay in business. I am
sorry, but that margin cannot be disclosed
Hotels do change their rates up or down depending on
their anticipated occupancy. If a hotel
finds that at the beginning of the day or even a day or two in advance they may
lower their rates if they have an abundance of rooms available for those future
dates. The rate that you paid was the
rate that the hotel had open to our booking system at the time that you made
the reservation. I am sorry that
priceline will not be able to offer you a difference in rate that you were
advised of when you arrived at the hotel
