I am rejecting this response because: I am not disputing Priceline's Policy but the description of the hotel reservation that was sold.
From previous email correspondence, MrCrimean's explains that the hotel was being listed as "Downtown Disney and Lake Buena Vista"; this was an incorrect statement from MrCremeans. The reservation had indicated "Downtown Disney-Lake Buena Vista". In the English language a hyphen (-) cannot be substituted for the word "and". My interpretation of the description of the reservation was that I was reserving a hotel in Downtown Disney
Due to the advertisement being used by Priceline, the agreement is therefore void and cannot be held to the subsequent cancellation policies
I spoke with *** from the *** *** today (2/18/15) at 6:42pm EST. *** had clearly indicated that there wouldn't be a problem canceling this reservation and the hotel would send a full refund. All the hotel is requiring is a fax from Priceline requesting this cancelation
Given the misrepresentation of the reservation and the fact that the hotel will provide a full refund, I demand Priceline to supply me with a full refund immediately

I have used Priceline off and on for about years usually with satisfactory results Recently I've noticed rating issues in certain towns For example if I bid on a star *** *** *** or *** in *** *** it will "upgrade???" to a star *** * Similar in *** ***If you try to bid on a star ***, ** *** or *** product you get "upgraded???" to the star *** *** that lost its *** *** flag because of age and run down conditionI'm in Miami now where I bid on a star hotel like ** *** or *** but was dumped into an *** *** that showed nowhere in the Express Deals list of possibilities The *** *** is not even an hotel--it's more like a college dorm for people needing something like a temporary apartment People who are possibly separated going through a divorce or construction workers working on a nearby project for a few weeks And it is in no way a star qualityIt has even less quality than a *** *I don't understand why Priceline would be complicit--after all, I am the customer and basis for their earnings I don't understand why they would want to collude with an inferior hotel on ratings in order to rip off their long term customer
The irony is that if I wanted to stay in a low quality place like I was dumped into, I could have contacted *** *** directly and gotten a better deal and cut Priceline out altogether

Your business is to guarantee me a room for the price I pay to Priceline, however the room was not guaranteed to me as I found out when checking into the hotel The price was not just inflated by an incidental amount, but by 54%
