I am rejecting this response because:Well, not only does Priceline not make it clear what currency the price is in on it's website, but they try to trick us here too! On the actual Priceline website, when you accept the deal/price, the pricing is in an upright rectangle The only currency mentioned in that rectangle, that contains all prices, is the "C" beside the one fee for the hotel or something like that If Priceline wanted to make sure this problem didn't occur, the currency used in the price would be right beside the price, like many other websites do (for example ***.com) The fact that it is in US funds under that rectangle There is so many things written here and there on the website that someone like me doesn't read it all, due to lack of time I would like to know one good reason why the currency is not included right beside the price Why they put it outside of the rectangle that contains all of the pricing I can only think of one reason They hope that people like me won't notice it and thus think that it's a much greater deal than it actually is, and thus accept the deal For me, it is costing me 35$ Canadian more than I thought it was going to I feel it is disingenuous and misleading of Priceline to not make the currency clear, when it would be SO easy Put it beside the price No more problems

Although I understand that the terms and conditions are clearly posted, this is a horrible business practice and an absolutely unacceptable policy to have in placeThe issue here is that it even exists to begin withI fail to understand how Priceline employees can even voluntarily support this policyDoing so must require a complete lack of conscience and sense of moralityThis is akin to a retailer saying that they will not return an unopened, unused item; under what other circumstances would any other business have a policy whereby the customer is denied a refund if the product or service was not used or purchased? This is the most greedy, despicable, and unethical policy or practice that I have ever encountered and something needs to be done about itI'm shocked that they haven't been subject to a class action suit

I am rejecting this response because this note is buried in the fine print and on the next screen AFTER you make your choice of location and priceThat way the consumer is not aware that such an option exists because the hotel specifics choices are already done and now we are just reviewing the requestWhile I understand this response from Priceline seems to be a way to absolve any responsibility, this appears to the me as very devious practice - not giving the choice when making the request, but putting in the fine print after your choice has been specified.
I do want to use Priceline.com as it provides consumers with a good option to name the price, however I would like to see changes in the booking process to help the consumer, rather than surreptitiously putting in some disclosures after the choices have been madeI request and reiterate Priceline to cancel and refund this request and make it right by me, so I as the consumer am not forced to stay in a smoking room when the choice was not presented during the booking process.

I am rejecting this response because: When I clicked on the category of car I wanted and the pop up said free cancellation, it did not stipulate any conditions or have an asterisk to alert you of conditions There was nothing that said anything about cancellable or non-cancellable optionsIf there was it should have been stated upfront and not in the fine print. It was not my intention to cancel the car until I went online to upgrade to a larger carBut there was no place to upgrade, so I rented a larger car with the intention of canceling the compact car(same pop up -free cancellation). When I called price line to cancel the car they told me that I could notI told them about the pop up and they still refused and said I was responsible for both cars whether I used them or notI called them back a little later and said I wanted to cancel the larger car because legally, by law, had three business days to cancel a contractThey refused. If Priceline was running a fair business it would not have pop-ups stating free cancellationAll conditions would be upfront and not in the fine print. I called the rental company and they said this was not there conditions, that I would have to contact priceline to straighten this matter out.
