I’m a seller on PoshmarkWhen you get a sale they send you a USPS label and it’s up to you to get the package to the post officeWell, USPS seems to have lost my shipment — it’s not showing as ever scanned in the first place — so I notified Poshmark of thatThey sent me the following emailYou should know that when I had trouble tracking a previous shipment and I asked them whether I should insure my shipments, and who was responsible for lost packages, I was assured that they take care of all thatTechnically, they are the shipper, since they generated the labelWell, apparently, poshmark doesn’t keep to their wordHere’s the email:
“We are sorry to hear that your package has not begun tracking for orderIt looks like the package has not been scanned into the mailstream by USPSThis typically happens when:
There is delay with USPS and the tracking will be updated after a few days
The wrong label is used for the package, i.ean older label or non-Poshmark label
The package has been temporarily misplaced by USPS
The item has accidentally not been shipped and is still lying around
We kindly ask that you check around your house and with your local post office to see if the package is still thereIf tracking does not update by Tuesday, April 17, please let us know.”
So, in other words, it’s up to me to resolve this? And two of the assumptions are that I am an it and either forgot to mail the thing or I used the wrong label? And I have to wait a full WEEK for them to even look into this? This is a two-day priority mailing I’m talking g aboutIt’s lost of it doesn’t show up in two days, right?

I thought this was a pretty good business, they keep some of your money that you make if you sell something It is a pretty high percentage Well days ago someone reported my James Avery jewelry as not being authentic Really? I have never purchased fake anything I contacted them back and was like huh? I take pictures of all my rings anything I have posted inside and out Excuse me and all my James Avery jewelry was purchased here at the James Avery Store in Austin Texas ! Most of my jewelry is retired and I have a lot of pieces The email I received from an employee named Michelle at Poshmark stated to tell me that James Avery contacted them directly and cited your listing(s) as infringing on their copyrights and/or trademarks...oh really? Did he? That is the most off the wall response I have ever heard I am really sure James Avery goes on to Poshmark to look at his jewelry So I had my personal attorney call James Avery corporate store in Kerrville Texas and they claimed no such doing in looking at listing or calling Poshmark Also James Avery has customer records of all purchases that, that customer has ever made Not only is Poshmark crooks and take a HIGH percentage of what you make and now they are liars This is not a reputable business and my attorney advised me to not do business with someone with business practices as they have I hope everyone finds this review useful I was only selling for about weeks when all this happened Will not be doing any business with Poshmark ever again Hope their business goes out of business for they way they treat people and have their employees make up bogus stories Give me a break!
I’m DONE with Poshmark! I’ve only purchased items, one which was cancelled after waiting almost a week for it to ship outAs far as the other purchases, the sellers take too long to ship out, and only after complaining to Customer Support, did they ship them out Deleting my account and no more business from me! I’ll buy from *** or ***, as they ship in a timely manner
I have bought and sold items on Poshmark frequentlyI am going to start off speaking as a buyer from other sellers on PoshmarkFirst off, the seller has a week to ship out the itemYou, as a buyer, are paying $for expedited shipping on all orders but yet allow the sellers up to a week to ship out with no repercussionsThe defeats the purpose of paying $for expedited shipping! I would rather pay for shipping if it is going to take a week for the seller to ship an itemSecondly, their return policy is garbage for honest peopleI have spent so much money on Poshmark solely due to the fact that I had found a great deal and purchased right awayThe items in question, I purchased, were my correct sizeHowever, when you get something that is previously used or worn, there is shrinkage, wear, etcPoshmark only allows returns for damaged goods and not something fitting correctlyI am too honest to file a claim that the item was damaged just to returnI have tried to resell the items for a lower price than what I bought them but they ended up being donated to Good WillNow, I am going to speak from a Seller's Perspective:
Poshmark is the worst selling platform out thereThey take 20% of your earningsNext, the person who has bought the item has three days to report any damagePoshmark keeps your earnings until the Buyer accepts the itemSometimes, the Buyer just lets it sit and you will at least wait a week to get your fundsThe last thing I want to mention is that someone can "claim" your item is damaged and Poshmark will approve the request for a return no matter whatThey can photoshop the damage, do the damage themselves, etcI have heard of other sellers receiving items that the buyer splattered with paint, so they lost their money and the itemI have never written a Revdex.com customer review but I feel compelled to regarding this companyThere are not enough negative things I can say about Poshmark
I was mailed a counterfeit Gucci belt that was advertised as 100% authenticI was told by poshmark to return the belt for a refundI refused due to the fact that the seller was still selling the item onlineknowing this now opened me up to legal liabilities one being the mailing of counterfeit goodsI asked poshmark if I can bring it to the police for destruction I was told no mail it back or no refundI then contacted my bank who gave me a temporary credit that was reversed because they asked for a second opinion letter that no store that sells Gucci products wanted to give me especially Gucci who I emailed at *** I am still waiting for a reply but because of the length of time that has passed I don't think one is on the way
I bought a designer bag for $, they guaranteed its authenticity and was sent to meHowever the bag had a lot more wear than described or actually than the seller’s pictures showed (I had asked the seller to disclose a couple more pics that showed the wear but did not disclose everything) Also, there was a lack of puffiness, not mentioned eitherI did not Accept the item , asked for a return and a refund sending them pictures proving my pointThey came back twice asking whether I would accept some Posh credit and keep the bagI gently refused , they increased the amount giving me supposedly a choice, I refused again sending more detailed pictures and explaining my caseThey came back days later with the decision (even though they gave me a choice) that I just had to keep the credit and the bag, because....the seller described the item accurately (!) advising me to ask more questions from sellers in the future !!!
Honestly I felt scammed , ridiculous return policy, this is an example of doing all the right things , disclosing all proof and still being treated poorlyNeVeR buying from that site again!
