AGAIN, Walmart needs to get with the program when they are hiring and training employees Lesson learned: stay away from Walmart for glasses! Next experience, Although I had the previous experience I decided to give wal-mart automotive department another try, assuming that I had just gotten a bad mechanic last timeI had tires which I purchased from wal-mart installed on my carAfter walking around the store for about hours I decided to check with the automotive department to ask when my car would be doneI was told by the female person behind the counter my car was done but she forgot to call to tell me
So, as if that wasn't bad enough I paid for their services then walked out to my car to find it parked in the parking lot unlocked and with it's windows rolled downMy $dog kennel in the back seat, numerous confidential documents in the unlocked glove compartment and personal property lying on the front seat for anyone who walked by to take at will
So, upon finding this, I again went to the service counter to complain about the careless irresponsible way my car was left in the parking lot
I told the female counter attendant I was very upset because my car had been left in the parking lot unlocked with the windows down and I felt it was very irresponsible of the mechanic and that wal-mart had a duty to protect my car while it was in their care
Her response to me was "SO, YOU DIDN'T TELL US NOT TO LEAVE THEM DOWN."
I asked for a manager to which I was told they didn't have a store managerI asked to talk to whomever was in charge of the store, she reluctantly called someoneAnother female person appeared, I explained the situation and she then paged the automotive managerWho after more minutes of waiting still could not find his way back to his department
So, feeling like I wasn't going to get any help or satisfactory resolution to my grievence
I finally stormed out the door furious, vowing never use any wal-mart automotive center again, ever
My treatment was unacceptable, the careless way the mechanic cared for my vehicle was unacceptable, and the juvenile behavior of the female counter attendant was very unacceptable

That same day within minutes of above discussion MsDesiree sent me outside for a cart blitz!* Several employees that saw me panicked when I came inside due to my maroon skin that was radiating heatI developed a rash for a few days
On June 29th I was sent to break everyone else, but never got mine, by 2:30pm when I was sent to break it was my lunch time [hours minutes]I spoke to Manager Desiree and she just nodded and said "Ok ***, I'll talk to someone"I spoke to *** *** before walking off for the day; he said he would take care of itWhen I come back to work on the 8th of July and find out nothing was done, because and I quote CSM Heather "It was not the csm's fault, Store Manager Steve took the blame because he had his tablet (not a PDA) and overlooked itReally? So taking away responsibility from the three CSM's that were there with PDA's does what for the employee?
The final inexcusable act was on the 12th of this month, I called for a restroom break for over minutes and none cameBy the time someone came and asked "what's your problem?" I had urinated myselfI was wearing a feminine pad, because we know what we go through up thereBut I urinated myself! I was so humiliated and embarrassed I walked off the job cryingNo apologies given by anyone to date, and those responsible or in charge- still hold their jobs*They knew my limitations when I returned in April, They minimum sun exposure due to chemo, nothing over 25lbsNo handling of raw meats, yet they still put me at risk and exposed me to it allIf I asked why I was not allowed to be a hostess, got the run around and every excuse possibleTwo CSM's were even upset at my "special treatment" as they called it- No special treatment given- just measures to ensure employee safety is the way I saw itI expect something be done about this, and measures implemented so that none other endure these unacceptable incidents

I visited my local Walmart Supercenter (SE 82nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97266) at around 9:00pm on April 10th to get some groceries Since I just got an exclusive coupon Noosa Yoghurt Corporate (a $value) in the mail, I brought it along to redeem with my purchaseWhen I checked out, the cashier took a look at my coupon then called the manager, Dara, overIn this case, the item is only $1.79, so I was supposed to get some changes back according to the corporate policy, "If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase." However, this manager gave me a hard time and considered that as "Coupon Frauds", which extremely humiliated me in front of a long line of other waiting customersI told her I know what coupons frauds mean, and she should not have said thatIn return, I received a response from her that I basically understood as, "You can do your business here now, or you can take it somewhere elseWe do not really care or appreciate your presence here." Immediately, I thought to myself, "What? That was the rudest thing that a manager could have said to me, EVER." I purchased a TV and about a month later it stopped workingI called the store, but they would not take it back because I did not have the boxI called the service plan, Asurion and they said they only cover surge protectors and to call the mfgCalled the mfgand they told me to turn it off and hit a button on the back and when I did I got lines on the screenThey said they would replace it, however, then changed their minds and said the screen was damaged (it is not damaged) and they do not cover thatCalled the store back and asst mgr said to harass the protection plan people as they should payCalled corporate and they blew me off twice, then had Asurion call me to tell me it would not be covered
I purchased a pair of glasses at Walmart in Philadelphia Mills, Philadelphia, PA only to discover I was charged for things I did NOT ask for which totalled $more than I planned on paying I called and returned to the store for a credit of my entire purchase since I had used my Visa Credit card and explained to the woman I had NOT asked for these "extras" nor was I going to pay for them The woman could not return my purchase since she had no idea how to do a return, without the help of another employee In the end my return was requested but I was informed it may have gone through 2x and if so I had to return the money! Really?? I would never keep THEIR mistake They obviously need employees who KNOW how to do their job! Weeks later I attempted to purchase another pair of glasses at the Bensalem, PA store which I needed to return since the fit was too big This is one of the down falls with getting glasses at Walmart The associates do not fit you they let you pick out glasses and that is it, they place your orderI returned the glasses which I had purchased with my Visa Debit card and received a Visa credit back on the same card and NOT cash I asked why I was receiving a credit instead of cash and her explanation was that is how it is to be doneWhen I asked the associate who assisted with the return, how long it would take before I see this credit his response was, if not immediately then within the hour Needless to say that did NOT happen and here I am the very next day writing my review to WARN others The purpose of using my debit card is exactly that It is just like cash which is what I should have received in my hand and NOT a credit which will now take a week to get back After speaking with the Assistant Manager, it is the store policy to give back cash! AGAIN, Walmart needs to get with the program when they are hiring and training employees Lesson learned: stay away from Walmart for glasses! Never had a problem until now after many years of going there It is sad when competent employees cannot be hired!

I would like to bring my experiences with the Pittsburgh Mills, Frasier Township store to your attentionMy first experience with your automotive store was uneventful however my second and third experiences should be brought to every ones attention
I was shopping at wal-mart and decided to get the oil in my car changed and I even paid the extra $to have my windshield cleaned and fluids topped offAs I drove away I noticed my windshield had been cleaned, but, with a greesy clothAfter a number of cleanings I still can't get all the grease off my windshieldAfter driving my car a couple days the oil light came on, when I took the car to find out why the oil light was on what I found was the car had been given the wrong amount of oil and was two quarts low on oil
Next experience, Although I had the previous experience I decided to give wal-mart automotive department another try, assuming that I had just gotten a bad mechanic last timeI had tires which I purchased from wal-mart installed on my carAfter walking around the store for about hours I decided to check with the automotive department to ask when my car would be doneI was told by the female person behind the counter my car was done but she forgot to call to tell me
So, as if that wasn't bad enough I paid for their services then walked out to my car to find it parked in the parking lot unlocked and with it's windows rolled downMy $dog kennel in the back seat, numerous confidential documents in the unlocked glove compartment and personal property lying on the front seat for anyone who walked by to take at will
So, upon finding this, I again went to the service counter to complain about the careless irresponsible way my car was left in the parking lot
I told the female counter attendant I was very upset because my car had been left in the parking lot unlocked with the windows down and I felt it was very irresponsible of the mechanic and that wal-mart had a duty to protect my car while it was in their care
Her response to me was "SO, YOU DIDN'T TELL US NOT TO LEAVE THEM DOWN."
I asked for a manager to which I was told they didn't have a store managerI asked to talk to whomever was in charge of the store, she reluctantly called someoneAnother female person appeared, I explained the situation and she then paged the automotive managerWho after more minutes of waiting still could not find his way back to his department
So, feeling like I wasn't going to get any help or satisfactory resolution to my grievence
I finally stormed out the door furious, vowing never use any wal-mart automotive center again, ever
My treatment was unacceptable, the careless way the mechanic cared for my vehicle was unacceptable, and the juvenile behavior of the female counter attendant was very unacceptable
I worked at Walmart Guess I should tell you all that I have experienced/endured since then, but I'll limit to the incidents that are not acceptable or break some kind of policy Let us start with this one: It started in when I was exposed to the concentrated Clorox "blue" as they referred to itI was given a paper mask, gloves a metal scraper, and was on knees removing wax buildup around registers floors- my eyes burned and teared but was told instead of cashiering I was still being paid so get to itI ended up in the emergency clinic after work with a letter of poisonous chemical exposure and burns, and told do not go near it again by Physician MillerThey changed what they use after others got sick like meMy file at should have that paper
I have CML- Bone Marrow Cancer (diagnosed 12/2015) , I got back from LOA this April- I've worked to hours with no break on my short shifts (no excuse given, other than Can't find merge code: oh, I forgot, you didn't come up on the PDA, oh-after minutes you get erased/fall off my PDASometimes just Ignored or sent 1/hours late to break on long shifts or not given last break and worked 4+ hours then went home for the day
When I worked fabrics I was approached by the Zone mgrDesiree and told to change my availability from 9am to 9pm to 9am to 10pm; I made her aware of my chemo therapy schedule being at 9:30pm and her response was "well can't you stop it or change it to later, my deptneeds someone until 10pm" I said I'd look for another dept that could work with my availability, since this was my life saving medicationMsDesiree said she would speak with upper managers if not, they would just override my availability to have me work until 10!? That same day within minutes of above discussion MsDesiree sent me outside for a cart blitz!* Several employees that saw me panicked when I came inside due to my maroon skin that was radiating heatI developed a rash for a few days
On June 29th I was sent to break everyone else, but never got mine, by 2:30pm when I was sent to break it was my lunch time [hours minutes]I spoke to Manager Desiree and she just nodded and said "Ok ***, I'll talk to someone"I spoke to *** *** before walking off for the day; he said he would take care of itWhen I come back to work on the 8th of July and find out nothing was done, because and I quote CSM Heather "It was not the csm's fault, Store Manager Steve took the blame because he had his tablet (not a PDA) and overlooked itReally? So taking away responsibility from the three CSM's that were there with PDA's does what for the employee?
The final inexcusable act was on the 12th of this month, I called for a restroom break for over minutes and none cameBy the time someone came and asked "what's your problem?" I had urinated myselfI was wearing a feminine pad, because we know what we go through up thereBut I urinated myself! I was so humiliated and embarrassed I walked off the job cryingNo apologies given by anyone to date, and those responsible or in charge- still hold their jobs*They knew my limitations when I returned in April, They minimum sun exposure due to chemo, nothing over 25lbsNo handling of raw meats, yet they still put me at risk and exposed me to it allIf I asked why I was not allowed to be a hostess, got the run around and every excuse possibleTwo CSM's were even upset at my "special treatment" as they called it- No special treatment given- just measures to ensure employee safety is the way I saw itI expect something be done about this, and measures implemented so that none other endure these unacceptable incidents
This walmart store violates the corporate walmart match price policyI bought a *** speaker for $then I realized that it's on *** for $I came back to match price that and they said we only match price walmart online!!! Seriously??? What about the policy that is written on your corporate website that mentions that you price match *** if the product is identical!!??? I visited my local Walmart Supercenter (SE 82nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97266) at around 9:00pm on April 10th to get some groceries Since I just got an exclusive coupon Noosa Yoghurt Corporate (a $value) in the mail, I brought it along to redeem with my purchaseWhen I checked out, the cashier took a look at my coupon then called the manager, Dara, overIn this case, the item is only $1.79, so I was supposed to get some changes back according to the corporate policy, "If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase." However, this manager gave me a hard time and considered that as "Coupon Frauds", which extremely humiliated me in front of a long line of other waiting customersI told her I know what coupons frauds mean, and she should not have said thatIn return, I received a response from her that I basically understood as, "You can do your business here now, or you can take it somewhere elseWe do not really care or appreciate your presence here." Immediately, I thought to myself, "What? That was the rudest thing that a manager could have said to me, EVER." Thus, I canceled the whole transaction and told myself I will NEVER want to support ANY Walmart againAt the moment, I have got so much confusion and frustration, like, "How could someone who does not have enough knowledge about the corporate policies become a manager?", "How could someone with such low social skills become manager?", and so onI have worked in Customer Services, and there are days that I have to stay from 5:00am to 5:00pm, but I never take any negative energy on a customer because I know it is WRONGHonestly, it makes me even more upset to realize that a friend of mine used the same coupon sent by the corporate a few months back, and he was well taken care of by a happy cashier at the timeI was there with him and witnessed the whole smoothly running transactionI even remembered thinking to myself how cool this Walmart was and how much I wanted to support itHowever, this experience made me regret all those good thoughtsI would like Walmart Corporate to properly train the employees about your policies because seeing a manager making up their own store policies against the corporate is a terrible thingIn addition, I have never received a sincere apology from Dara or the cashier for their hostile behaviors and for wrongfully accusing me for "Coupon Frauds" over $If this comment is not fully investigated and fixed, I would have no choice but sharing this horrible experience with my family, relatives, friends, and social network followers, so they can avoid getting in the same ugly situationMaybe it would not hurt the corporate as a whole, but it will definitely hurt that store's profit because 95% of my friends usually shop thereThanks to Dara's suggestion to "go shopping elsewhere", my six years of support for Walmart just went down the drainWhat a shame!
