We have no affiliation to ** *** ***.? We only purchase contracts from them.? Any refund needs to come from them since our loan is paid in full.? We apologize if the customer is having a difficult time contacting ** *** ***s, we have supplied the only phone numbers we have on file for them.? The complaint should be against ** *** ***s, not Equitable Acceptance

? I am rejecting this response because: This business has several complaints on them about how they will try to help someone with consolidation? of loansThis company has asked for money down and was given the money to start the consolidation? processWhen someone goes into consolidation? of college loans a down payment is not requiredThis is now on my creditI have to pay them and the loans that they consolidated? so basically I am paying on my loans twice because I have to give this business the monthly payment then I have to pay on my loans threw Navient loan because this company does not do their jobThis business has told me on several? occasions? that this is for a lifetime and that every years I have to re enrollI advised them that I wanted to cancel; the business advised me that they will not do so and that the business will remain on my credit report as well for I have to continue? to pay what I still owe them.Plus pay Navient at the same timeI want this canceledOff my credit and my money backIt is very unfair that I have given them money to pay on my student loans and I have to pay them and Navient loans at the same timeon the same account because this company will not do their jobI want this off my credit and this canceled and my money backI will keep this claim open until my request is met

? I am rejecting this response because: I believed I was paying a lower amount for my loansAlso, was never notified about a re-enrollmentThe way they word things when talking to you is very misleadingThis company needs to be shut down

? I am rejecting this response becauseI am planning to pay the full amount owed to this companyI want it to be known that this company is taking advantage of people who have student loans? I am going to pay the full balance off, but I expect full and continuing service from these people? I think they should be upfront about the enormous interest rate of % ? Also this Ms ? *** **? is very rude!!!

We purchased a contract from *** *** ***, LLC aka *** *** Team, LLC ("dealer") on August 13, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee charged by the dealer to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loan debtThe
customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly stated the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan debt relief bureaucracy.? We have a recorded verification call done with the customer prior to funding which explained the transaction, and Equitable Accepptance's role.? As stated by the customer, the service included monitoring of the student loans and renewing annually the program best suited for the customer.? If the customer is getting notification from their loan servicer about student loans, the issue needs to be addressed with the dealer to address.? Their customer service number is ###-###-####.? We will not be closing our account as requested by the customer.? We look forward to having the customer fulfilling the obligation to us

Both payments are now past dueWe have a recorded verification call done with the customer stating they agreed to this transaction which included the loan with Equitable Acceptance.? The dealer would have had to received written notice to cancel the account prior to midnight December 8, per the terms of the Notice of Cancellation.? We look forward to having the customer fulfilling their obligation to us so we do not have to report negatively to the credit bureau

The inquiry on the customer's credit bureau was from July 20, 2016.? The credit bureau was accessed by one of the sales companies we do business with, Millhouse Group, Inc.? They are a sales organization that sells household goods such as cookware, knives, water purification
products.? The dealer did not place a loan application with us, but would have received an authorization to access the credit file.? The dealer used an online or phone service we offer to determine the credit worthiness of a customer without getting or seeing any details about the credit.? The dealer would not have accessed the credit bureau without reason such as a potential sale or potential financing of the product being sold

? I am rejecting this response because: why would I sign up for a loan when I'm not even trying to pay my regular student loanNo sense madeI started paying it because it was on my credit but o said to myselfI'm not going to do continue to pay for something I didn't ask for or sign up forI never truly signed any papers you forward or copied my signature off somethingAt this point it can just go to collections because I'm not paying itYou all get over on peoplethen on top of that my bill kept going up and it doesn't seem like my balance is going downso I'm not paying it anymore until you all fix it

We purchased the contract from the dealer, and they are the company that created the documents to sign.? The loan is for the documentation preparation fee charged by the dealer to consolidate or refinance student loan delt with the Department of Education, or loan servicer.? Part of the service purchased is that the dealer will work with the customer for three or four re-certifications on an annual basis.? We have been informed by the dealer that the original consolidation was completed on the customer's behalfWe do not do the work with the DOE or servicer, this is all done by the dealer.? We look forward to having the customer fulfilling her obligation to us

They also have a recorded verification call completed with the customer which the customer agreed to the terms of the transaction and agreed to the loan with Equitable Acceptance.? We look forward to having the customer fulfilling her obligation to us to avoid any negative reporting to the credit bureaus

The customer is correct that they did not enter into an agreement with Equitable Acceptance.? The agreement was between the customer and the dealer, *** ***? Another number for the customer to try to reach the dealer at is ###-###-####.? We look forward to the customer fulfilling her obligation to us

dealer entereed into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly stated the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan relief bureaucracy.? The delaer has many programs available to them to enroll the customer into the best program based on the customer's financial situation.? The customer paid to have the dealer re-enroll her annually for four years.? Each year the customer needs to re-enroll to to stay in the appropriate program.? While this can be done by the customer for free on their own, the dealer offered the service and the customer agreed to pay fo the service.? The customer needs to contact the dealer at ###-###-#### to work with the dealer to have them re-enroll with the DOE.? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Good afternoon,Thank you for contacting the companyYesterday July 7, I was supposed to receive a phone call from Heather ***
at 5:30; however, she never calledI called July at 8:24am and again I was directed to the help desk who could only take down my information and assure me someone would call todayAt 9:14am? July 8, I received an email from Tania ***, assistant customer service care manager, stating that Heather was transferred to a different office which is the reason no one has returned my phone callsIt seems odd to me that no one knew she transferred and everyone I spoke to just referred me to her voicemailI called her back and settled the issueI was assured no other payments would be taken out of my account or further contact will be made

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me? I received the confirmation of my request to cancel? None of this process, from dealing with *** *** or America First or Equitable Acceptance, was in any way straightforward? It lacked transparency from the onset? They use unlawful and dishonest tactics, while banking on the caller's naivete? Hopefully, no other unsuspecting ? borrowers will fall prey to these scavengers? Thank you

? I am rejecting this response because:I was told that the $a month was my new student loan paymentNot a service feeThey did not tell me they were putting me on a $a month payment program toward my student loan for one yearThat S why once that year was up, I began to get emails saying my student loans were in danger of defaultI would like to listen to the call and hear them say it because what actually happened is far from the truthEven if this is not settled, I want my complaint to stick so that others may be warned and they will know not to trust this companyThey lied to me
