I gave all requested information for them to even look up the transaction but the person we spoke with on the phone when I was in store on October 26th said he did not have to ability to check the archives for my transaction. I was also offered to purchase the ring due to the need to have it replaced by since the ring was not in store they had to do a round about way of ordering me my replacement ring. and I was assured if I paid for the ring then while I was in store my refund would be a heck and not store credit. Now I am feeling like there is a lot of dishonesty with this company. Or a lack of training for this sort of thing.Revdex.com:

When I called I was told that the stores had to be doing something wrong. All of them. Three places, different dates different times. they never offered to replace the card. now the card is expired and they don't want to do anything about it. Its a scheme. First off the cards should not have an expiration date if they are going to take a $3 a month fee it should expire when the funds are gone. I believe they are ripping people off and I am disgusted. I have been doing a lot of reading and several people have had similar issues.

It appears the attached packing slip has been modified from its original form. Please see attached file.
We
apologize for the delay, as well as for the frustration. On November 30, a
Kohl's Merchandise Credit (KMC), for the jewelry return was sent, via mail, in
the amount of $5763.56, which should be delivered in 7-14 business days. As the
corporate refund receipt states, "further processing will...

specific refund", we respectfully decline the request to be issued a
check.

Also, $10.00 of Kohl’s Cash was earned on this order and subsequently redeemed on Kohls.com order ending in 4949. As such, the return value was deducted by the amount of Kohl’s Cash used. Since the correct amount was refunded for the first pair of jeans, we respectfully decline any request for compensation.
