Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I had to pay over $to take my computer into a computer specialist to try and restore my computer after an uptomatic Windows updateThankfully, due to my timely action, I was able to restore my computer without breaking the bankMy fiance recently had the same issue with an automatic Windows update, but the results were much worse and the update resulted in completely fried hardwareWe have both dealt with the Microsoft Tech support, which resulted in essentially no resolution and increased frustrationWhy in the world is an update put out there for the public that obviously most computers cannot handle?! Please realize that most people use and store sensitive information on their computers and many work from home, are students (like myself) so a simple response saying, "Contact Microsoft support" is far from being sufficient for the issues many of us face with Microsoft As a student, or a parent of a student which I'm sure many individuals in the Microsoft Corporation are, going without a computer during any part of a semester is not feasibleIt took the computer specialist one week to attempt to remove Windows and restore my computerThat is one week of papers, research, and assignements that were saved on my computer that I was unable to accessMicrosoft tech support could NOT fix this issue and I hope there are many others out there that will voice their frustration as I have with the money I have had to spend due to the destruction of computers due to Windows Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it does not cover or address Microsoft's obligation to behave as a responsible utility, providing reasonable accounting recordsThey charged me for a phone number while not applying funds toward a worldwide subscription, which obviously would have been necessary before a phone numberCurrently,I have no idea where I stand financially with SkypeFurthermore, they make no attempt to deal with nuisance calls received from a Skype numberI should note that the service seems to be operational at this point; however, accounting reports and records should be providedFor example, Microsoft offers automatically renewable subscriptions, but doesn't renew themHopefully in future this conglomerate will find it worth its while to behave in a professional manner, no matter how large or powerful it is Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Microsoft considers the case closedI consider the case unresolvable even with the Revdex.com's assistance in mediating the compliant, and as such I will not click the button saying that this is resolvedI do not feel that further correspondence with Microsoft will be of help in coming to a mutually agreeable resolution to this complaint Microsoft claims to be unable to provide a credit or refund for the disputed amount of $that I was charged extra by trying to add a product to my cart (but instead feel was tricked into immediately buying) in order to see the $discount advertised on MicrosoftStore that apparently wasn't the same for Microsoft.comThe issue was exacerbated in that the email confirmation I received said it was from Microsoft Store, when it was from Microsoft.com, which apparently are different storefronts with different prices and different customer service centers I am hopeful that other customers will not suffer the same learning curve as I, in that it does sound as though my feedback has been heard regarding the inconsistency, inaccuracies, and confusion caused among Microsoft's multiple online store fronts.Sincerely, [redacted]
