SO, you'll take my money but you don't really care if you deliver on what I have paid forThe only way you can say this is because Sony's network is having more issuesSo who cares if one user leaves your service? OK so I signed your terms of service agreeing to this and it is my fault for not seeing this before signingFair enoughBut I think the rest of the world needs to see this statement in the use agreementmaybe folks like me should think twice about spending money on a company that cares as much or more about money than serviceYou make the games and the consoles why would you not care about the service that supports it?

I received your complaint from Revdex.com that you have experienced issues with SkypeI'm very sorry to read that and I

I have checked our records and can see that you have been in contact with Skype Customer Service in order to restore access to your account
At Skype, we have systems and processes in place designed to detect potentially fraudulent or illegal behaviour carried out in respect of Skype accounts, thus to protect our UsersTherefore the Skype account was blocked in order to protect the account information from unauthorized access
Our usual policy is that we will remove the restriction from a Skype account as soon as we have done a few security/identity checks, to make sure we open the account for the rightful owner and not for the fraudstersThe necessary checks after an incident like that include the verification of some of your payment details as well as the necessity to change your Skype account passwordPassword change can only be done after successful verification
I have also now restored your Skype Credit balance on the account
Please let me know if you are still experiencing any issues with your Skype account

Without any help from Skype Customer Service, I was able to solve my problem and recover my accountI found the reason why I was locked out of my own Skype accountHere is what happened:
1) I created my Skype account many years ago with the email address ***@gmail.com
2) I recently created a *** account also with the email alias ***@gmail.com
When I tried to recover my account password by requesting Skype to send me a code, it thought I meant my *** account, and it incorrectly created a new Skype account for meAfter that, it was hopeless trying to recover the account, because it actually defaulted to the new Skype accountSo the solution is pretty simpleI simply logged in my *** account and I removed ***@gmail.com as my primary alias emailThen I went to Skype and asked to recover my account, and now it understood that I wanted to recover my original Skype account
