(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Before accepting this offer I contacted Microsoft today to get my controller fixed via exchange as in their proposed resolutionUnfortunately, although the Advocacy Team told me it could be fixed, when I chatted with Microsoft person, (***) I was told differentThis was your service personnel response "If our advocacy team are already handling the issue they will be the one to contact you regarding your request*** the customer service knew of the situation as I had explained The Advocacy Team contacted the Revdex.com and had provided instructions on how to resolve this matterUnfortunately, It feels that the buck is being passedThe advocacy team says one thing while the xbox customer service people are saying anotherConflicting statements, seems the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing and unfortunately my problem continues without resolutionTHIS IS WHAT XBOX CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WROTE ALTHOUGH THE ADVOCACY TEAM SAID THE CONTROLLER ISSUE COULD BE "FIXED VIA EXCHANGE""(***) Since the advocacy team is directly communicating with you, you can report this to them as we already check all your available options as there is no options here on my end that I can process your replacement."Heart of the matter is Microsoft Advocacy Team proposed a solution which Xbox customer service is refusing to acknowledge and honorPlease, dont pass the buck any longer and resolve my problem via exchange as it was proposedThank you,

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I'm sure we'll go back and forth with Microsoft saying that "it is against company policy" Perhaps Microsoft should take note that their policy is completely unacceptable The key issue is that Microsoft operating instructions dictate that the customer receive peripheral parts within business days...especially in this case where Microsoft took well over business days (months to be specific) I can do this all day...bottom line: I will never buy another Microsoft computer ever again...you lost a long-time customer and will warn others considering your Surface line Stick to making OSs since there aren't many trying to return those Looking forward to seeing another company policy reply Thanks Microsoft :( Sincerely,*** ***

This doesn't tell me anything other than violated terms of use the links they provided to the enforcement don't work I want to know when & how the violations occupied The account has been locked out and closed so there is no way to use the links provided and with the account locked out no way to contact anyone This is not right, I just want answers about what happened other than violated code of conduct They even locked out my hotmail account & I use it for work I know Microsoft has closed the account but I want answers

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The technician contacted me promptlyHowever I couldn't provide the exact request number for which my hardware replacement was cancelled, so they can't help meThey won't exchange or repair the device because it has been too long since the warranty expiredIf Microsoft had responded to my requests or complaints when I had the issues and when the device was under warranty, we wouldn't even be having this conversationIt's unfortunate that Microsoft doesn't have a record of all the calls I made regarding the issues I had with this deviceI learned my lessonI will never make the mistake of buying Microsoft hardware ever again
