Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Their response is that the complaint is being forwarded to their customer service...

department for review. Nothing in the response deals directly with my issue with Main Street Renewal as a result I am rejecting the response at time.

Resident reported issues with not being contacted regarding ongoing maintenance issues at the home.  Our Resident Care Support Team confirmed that requested repairs had been approved and scheduled for completion. We have attempted multiple times with no success to contact resident to discuss of...

the issue.

Just like other reviews here I went to view a rental property and called the company after the viewing to verify there were no other applications already on the property. I was assured there were no other applicants so we submitted our aoplication within the hour. The very next day I get charged to 120 fee so I assume my application is being processed. 3 days later not a single word so I call and speak to someone only to be told my application hasn't been processed yet. The next day I get an email from the agent asking for pay stubs for each applicant so we send them. Another 3 days and no word again. I call again and now I'm told there were 3 other applications ahead of mine. I know the disclaimer says it's our responsibility to make sure the property is still available but what else can I do to verify the availability of the property other than call you and ask right before I submit my application? How can you allow 4 people to apply for the same house? Why do you charge us immediately instead checking to see if there is already an application being processed? I would really like my deposit back.

I am rejecting this response because: it has been a week since receiving this response through the complaint process and I still have not heard from the business.  There has been zero communication from the business since 9/28...

and no concessions on rent or reimbursement for the hotel charge has been made.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you so much [redacted], I hate that it couldn't have been resolved earlier in a different forum. I really wish that I had the opportunity to rent a property or at least given my options regarding other requirements needed. My new address is [redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  They have promised time and time again...over and over that they would...

contact us within a certain amount of time to "resolve our issues," and just as before, they haven't!!!!  SHOCKER!  It has been 48 hours since January 17th @ 9:02AM when we received this e-mail and we have yet to receive any type of contact from Mainstreet Renewal.  They make promises AND NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH!  This is a LARGE part of our issue with this company.  Even if it was going to take them 4 or 5 days to come up with a resolution, they, at the very least could have called within the allotted amount of time THEY GAVE US to let us know they were working on things and they would need more time!  They constantly push us off, then when we are so FED UP of waiting, act like they have done nothing wrong.  We are sick of it.  We want our money, plain and simple. We could do without the broken promises.  We are tired of these people and have noted this issue on all of our social media outlets.  People can't even believe we are still dealing with this issue from JUNE of 2016!!  It is ridiculous!

Leighanna Bevelle

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: 2 business days is a highly unreasonable time to wait for a response with lack of air conditioning in home with over 90 degreed weather and soaking wet carpets that are possible growing mold.

My wife and I submitted our applications on a property in Fort Worth to the office in Dallas on 3/10/2015. We were told that there were no other applications on the house. We received no word from MSR for 7 days. I began emailing and calling, but received no response. Finally, on 3/18/2015 my realtor was able to get in touch with MSR. MSR claimed that they needed income verification which I had sent on 3/10. I was in the process of resending check stubs, when I received word that we were approved (strange or just disorganized?). Ours was the first application in, so we should be able to begin deciding which furniture we want to put where, right? Wrong. Another applicant who submitted their app after ours got the house because they said that they could move in a couple of days earlier. It is 3/19/2015. I said that we were ready for move-in on 3/25/2015. That was a terribly underhanded thing for MSR to pull on us. Literally, a matter of days. Not weeks or months. I will never do business with MSR again. You have been warned.

There were two separate water leaks identified, the first 9/4/13 and the second was 2/24/14.
On 9/4/13,Notification by Tenant of leak.  The tenant called the water company.  The water company shut off the water at the main line and advised that the leak was in the slab.  The tenant and her family were offered to be relocated to a hotel but they chose to stay with family members from 8/31-9/8 while the repairs were completed.  A rent credit in the amount of $1025  was credited to her tenant ledger and the $100 late charge waived on 9/10/13.
The repairs were completed 9/4/13, water extracted and carpets dried using commercial dryers.
On 9/9, Tenant notified the branch that the shower valves were damaged.  A work order was placed and plumbers dispatched to clean residual sand and gravel out of each faucet, caused by the fix in the slab.
On 9/9, carpet and pad replaced in bedrooms and hallway.
On 2/25, Tenant notified the branch the shower valves were leaking continuously.  Vendor [redacted] replaced the shower valve on 2/25.
On 2/27, Tenant notified the branch there was a major water leak from the main water line. The branch requested that she turn off the valve at the Main and that we were calling a plumber.  [redacted] was not given access to the property for 3 days.  Upon arrival, they found that the water had been running for the entire time.
[redacted] could not locate the cause of the leak.  Thermo-scan Inspections, a company specializing in detecting  underground leaks, was called in on 2/27 to schedule an appointment with the tenant.  It was not until two days later that the tenant was able to accommodate the vendor and allow entry to the property.  Foundation had to be dug into as well as front yard to complete the repair. Complete as of 3/6/14.
On 3/14, Replaced carpet in bedroom dried out and stretched in other affected areas.
As of 3/6, we were confident that all leaks had been remedied.
On 6/4/14, we received communication from the [redacted] County Public Health Department, informing us that there was a leak under the kitchen sink and moldy baseboard/cabinet. A work order was opened for the plumber.  The plumber had scheduled an appointment for 6/6 at 2:00 p.m. but the tenant did not answer the call when they were heading to the property.  Tenant later called back and said they could come on 6/10 at 12:30 p.m. but the vendor’s schedule would not allow for that time.  The repairs are now scheduled for 6/12.
Regarding the water bills, I have located bills for January and February, 2014 in our system, please provide all water bills from August, 2013 to April, 2014.  I will review and identify excessive water usage during the times we were working to repair leaks and then work with Ms. [redacted] and Citizens Energy Group to work through the bills and get that resolved.

Please make note that we have closed Revdex.com complaint [redacted] for [redacted] as resolved on our end per our comments below:   Spoke with...

resident to clarify the settlement agreement that was signed. Due to domestic issues we are allowing the resident Ms [redacted] to have the lease terminated and not be charged the early termination fee as she provided paperwork from law enforcement showing her claims were legitimate. The lease is being terminated however we have to give a reasonable time frame to all parties to vacate the premises (30 days) After 30 days the lease will be terminated and the walkthrough of the property will be completed to determine if any damages were done to the property to deduct from the deposit per the lease agreement. After the move out calculations are done the deposit will be sent to the forwarding address within 30 days however the refund check has to be in both names listed on the lease. This will be closed on our end     Thank you,   [redacted] Risk Management & Insurance Coordinator [redacted]@msrenewal.com www.mainstreetrenewal.com

I am rejecting this response because:Another typical response from Main Street.  "We'll deal with it soon, promise.  Pinky swear this time."  Sure.  It's been four or five days since THAT response, and still nothing.  After the ongoing lack of response from previous promises that this will "surely be resolved quickly."  So expedient.  Meanwhile the longer we delay and duck this situation the further in the past it becomes and the harder it is to do anything about.  All it looks like to me is attempting to get me to miss the six-day response limit and have this file automatically close."Regards",
