I ordered a DunkinDonuts gift card valued at $for $When I went to Dunkin A couple of weeks ago they said the card has been deactivatedI should have over $left on the cardI did the simple card problem support cardpool has on their site, I got an immediate generated response that someone would get back to me in hours , I took the weekend out of the equation, and it’s been daysNot even a sorry we are backed up with complaintsI can’t get any response

I sold two gift cards to ***My $*** gift card I received a check for, but they took my $*** gift card and are not paying me! They tell me the card has a balance of zeroThe balance is zero because they took my fundsIt was a brand new card (XMas gift) and I had not even scratched off the pin before checking the balance and selling it to ***They are now asking me if it's possible I spent the money and I should contact ***I did not spend the money and I did contact *** and they can't do anything for meI was supposed to receive a check of $for my $*** gift card and did not receive anythingNor are they trying to correct the issue

This is regarding my order *** placed on Nov 23rd, I tried to contact Cardpool.com to get refund for a $*** gift card for which I paid $The card number and pin numbers are incorrect$*** Electronic Gift Card Number: ***1, Pin: XXXX Please note that I have masked the Pin number for security reasonsAccording to the Year Guarantee Policy offered by Cardpool.com, I am requesting for a refund of $

I sold them gift cards which included me mailing three of them to CaliforniaIt’s been days and I have not been able to confirm they have received the gift cards in the mailMy account says the purchase is still under reviewThe customer service is non existent - no one emails me back or calls me backI’ve tried corporate office and nothing - I’ve tried bulk sales bull customer service, I’ve tried the company that owns cardpool and their corporate office and nothingNot one single human being has answered one single phone call in a day spanThis has to be a scam!!

I traded a $Kohls Card recently for an Amazon E-CardI had a gift card since Christmas I was never going to use and a friend who used this company in referred meStupid me didn't check the reviews until after my transaction and I became impatient after the day wait time expiredI sent an email and left a message on their voicemailI sent another email as the day turned into and still no responseI woke up on the 3rd day to find the gift code in my emailI went to Amazon immediately and the balance was there
I think the problem with Cardpool is their lack of customer service and outreachAs some with over years Customer Service, the way they operate is a disaster to say the listA company who deals with thousands of customers on a daily basis only has a voicemail system and email? No live representatives to assist? It's insaneNot to mention when you do get a response it seems automated
So people are complaining about how they receive cards with no balanceWell imagine how frustrated you are to receive a card with no balanceProbably as frustrated as those who traded their cards, didn't receive their gift cards (sometimes even money), can't get a hold of the company they did business with, so they "take" their gift card backSo when Cardpool finally gets around to doing their business right, they send out an empty gift cardLeaving the consumer in a bindNot that it is any constitution, I'm just stating because of their lack of communication with their customers, it's going to be this continuous revolving door
Cardpool, you really need to get your stuff togetherCustomer Service is key and not only are you lacking it, but it doesn't seem to existPeople shouldn't have to wait days to get an "automated" response from you when you are holding on to their money and productsYou also offer nothing in terms of compensation for those who have an excessive wait time on THEIR money or products
My experience with you wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it's clear you have more unsatisfied customers than satisfiedI will not do business with you again until your customer approval waiting goes upI'm astonished that your company is still in business

I have purchased a number of Target gift cards from Cardpool over the past few monthsThey were all E-gift cards which were emailed to meI assumed, since they were digital, the value would most definitely be on the gift cardsWhen I finally gathered all the gift card numbers in order to use them, I found one after another had a $balanceI contacted Target as well as Cardpool with my issueI wanted to make sure there wasn't an error on my end, but Target confirmed that all cards were used in different physical locations across TexasI am in Arizona and have not been to Texas in well over yearsCardpool reviewed my claim and also found that the cards were used in TexasThey now refuse to give me a refund, though they have a one year purchase guarantee which states "If you purchase any gift card from Cardpool, we guarantee it will be valid at the merchant and for the dollar amount specified on your order....If you are unable to redeem your card for the full amount specified

I purchased a $*** *** gift card from them with a one year guarantee on 8/7/When I went to use it for the first time, it had been wiped outI emailed the company with this information on 3/31/and was told my complaint had been received and someone would get back to meI have emailed two more times since then asking for help with this purchase and have received no response

I sent gift cards worth $to Cardpool companyOn August 24, 2016, they said they can't process the cards and will send me back the cardsThey mailed me back the cards without any insurance in the mail, just a regular certified mailWhen I received the envelope at Post Office on September 6, 2016, the envelope has been open on one side of the envelope with gift cards left worth $The Post Office denied the claim as the mail was not insuredI requested cardpool to file claim on their end and help me with the claimHowever, the representative denied to help me through emailMy order # is ***

I sold an *** giftcard to them for $92.04, for which they were supposed to send me a checkIt has been a month and I still have not received payment for my giftcard, even though they have already drained my giftcard of its valueThey sent the check by US Mail, but will only replace it after waiting an extraordinarily long weeksAfter waiting weeks for a replacement, they said they'd send out a new one but it still has not been receivedAfter asking them to send one by *** at my own expense, they refused and said I have to wait ANOTHER weeks to receive anything

I recently sold a gift card on their websiteI never received my E-Amazon gift card from themI have emailed them three times, and I've called them once and I've got no response

~Summary~
Considering some of the terrible reviews for Cardpool.com that I've read, I'd say my first dealings with them went comparatively wellCertain aspects of the process were a little annoying, but overall I was satisfied with the experience(For the record, I am real customerI know some of you reading these reviews are worried about fake ones.)
~Pros~
* I received 94.9% of the value of my $Best Buy gift card, which is the best return I've seen from any gift card exchange service* I was not asked any questions nor was I "interviewed" by Cardpool as a first time seller as other reviews might suggest* They accepted my physical gift card as an e-gift card, thus saving me the trouble of having to mail it to them* Customer service responded to my email within one business day* Either a debit or credit card will work when selling to them, unlike Raise which requires a credit card~Cons~
* I received my payment six business days later than promised, and it likely would have taken longer had I not sent them an email* They support neither direct bank deposit nor Paypal when selling to them, only mailed checks and Amazon gift cards~Suggestion~
If you sold a gift card to them and opted for the Amazon gift card as payment, don't be afraid to send them an email if your payment doesn't arrive when expectedWhen I asked them why my payment was taking so long, they mentioned an error their Amazon payment system was experiencing and apologized for itI received my payment shortly after that reply

I misread something online, which is my fault, but I immediately (within minutes of confirmation) tried to contact the company to try and resolve the issueIt needed to be addressed right away so my order would be cancelledI didn't receive a response until hours later, and they ignored my desire to cancel the orderI responded minutes after their response that I still needed to cancel the orderThey did not respond until the next day, and again ignored my request to cancel the orderThe gift card then arrived after the business day window (missed it by hours)Please note it's not a holiday or anything - it's June 8, I have all e-mails saved as evidence should those be requiredLast e-mail I received states they cannot issue a refund or exchange e-cards, which is fine, but I wanted to cancel the order originally and not even receive the cardIt should not be my issue, it should be theirs

Purchased a discounted *** *** *** gift card on September 28, for the amount of $When I went to use the gift card after I received it the same day, I was given an error message stating that the card was invalidThe site claims to offer a guarantee of the card's value I immediately emailed customer service and was given a form reply saying they would respond to my email in the order they receivedIt's been five days and I haven't received a responseThey don't pick up the phone when I try to call their number, and did not respond to an email sent from my business addressCard still doesn't workI was scammedIf this complaint is not successful in producing a refund for the purchase amount or a gift card in the value purchased that is valid, I will be pursuing a civil complaint under WV's consumer protection laws

I sold Cardpool $*** gift cards and notified that I would be given a the amount bought through *** gift cardsAn email was sent as an order confirmation with the transaction number ***It stated that I will receive $for the unwanted gift cardsIt stated that I would get an email with the *** gift card within one business dayPeak holidays may result in waiting 1-additional business daysI ordered the gift cards on 12/The email gave the support email, *** if customer service was needed for the orderI emailed the email after a week of not hearing anything about the cardsI did not get a response for more than days, and decided to email againAt this point I dug a little deeper and found their *** page which is linked here: ***
Everyone on the visitor's posts page is having the same kind of issues: buying cards from cardpool with $balances or selling cards and not hearing anything back

Possible scam or ID theft website, steals personal infoSubmitted substantial personal info to complete order, it was cancelled without explanationCardpool.com buys and resells gift cardsIn the name of risk assessment, they require the buyer of gift cards to offer substantial personal info, including DOBTwo days after I placed my order online, I received an email stating my order was cancelled, but they cannot provide any details stating the reasonFurther inquires did not result in a reason save that my info failed their risk assessment team's criteriaAs a good customer with an excellent credit score, my conclusion to why my order was cancelled is the company is possibly involved in data mining; stealing personal info to be sold or used for identity theft

On Nov 23, I purchased $worth of electronic gift cards from Cardpool for the Best Buy retailerMy order number is ***My credit card was immediately billed; however, one of the gift cards in the amount of $did not workThe code provided was incorrect and it was unusableI immediately contacted Cardpool - as directly by their website - and did not receive a response for days on Nov 28, via an emailThe email stated that they apologized and would issue a refundAs of this writing Dec 4, I have not been issued a refund on my credit cardIn addition, the gift that I wished to purchase at Best Buy was no longer available; therefore the additional $in cardpool gift cards I purchased to pay for the gift became uselessI had to go to another store and purchase the itemI am out $+ the $I had to pay for the gift I wasn't able to purchase using the Best Buy cards from cardpoolI've contacted the company times and they will only email to tell
