on march 31st my wife and I decided to repaint the pool so we went to leslies pool supply to get the paint, we have been going to this store located on *** *** ** ** *** ** *** for the last years and on this date we talked to jason jstore manager I told him our plan to repaint and asked him for advice, last time we painted the pool we got the paint at the same store that was years ago, I asked him about water base paint which is only dollars a gallon and he told me that last time I painted the pool we used epoxy paint and that is dollars a gallon and so we bought the epoxy paint,he told us we had to sand the pool with grade paper, the pool is to big so I hired two people to do the job paying them dollars for the day,I had to work so I left the boxes containing the paint for the guys to do the job when I came home the pool was painted but when I saw the cans of paint I got furious because it was water base paint, that paint is not to be used on top of e

Terrible customer service!! I went to store *** ** *** *** and the employees name was JordanI took some pool water in to be tested and the lady acted like I ruined her life! She took my pool water, tested it , printed out a copy of the paper, highlighted it and handed it to meI just purchased a pool and I have no idea how to take care of itSo when I ask questions about the paper work she proceeds to talk to me like I'm stupidI have already explained to her that I don't know anything about pools or the chemicalsI ask questions so I can learn but when I'm getting feedback from someone who is supposed to be a professional like this "try not to blow yourself up" it really upsets meI left the store more confused than everI will never go back to that store again
Leslies Pools sent a drunk racist violent felon to my homeHe damaged my pool light fixture & scared the hell out of meHe arrived stinking drunk, damaged my pool light, then refused to leaveThen they sent another guy to fix what the 1st guy brokeHE broke my pipe to the poolBefore doing the work they gave me a couple forms to signI told them my glasses were broke & to please tell me what I was signingThey just said it was "permission to work on my pool" & the price estimateWhat it REALLY was, was a waiver specific to the work they were doing...work that they apparently mess up at all the timeAnd knowing this ahead of time, they created this waiver just for itSo, they lied to me...scammed me into signing under pretensesThey knew they would cause damage as he immediately recommended a third Leslies service guy to fix the problem they causedTelling me "when this happens we always refer this guy"So, I had to have the deck pulled up just to get an e

I had my pool water tested at Leslie's and two chemicals were recommended to add to my pool water and run my pump for hoursI added these chemicals per store and manufacturer's instructionsMy water did not clear and my pool filter rose over time (hours) to a dangerous levelI inspected my filter cartridges and found the pleats were totally covered with a very viscous mucus appearing substanceI cleaned the filters in a bath of Muriatic acid and water followed by a high pressure water rinse and appeared to remove a large portion of contaminantAfter reassembly of filter I took a sample of the contaminant to the store and received a "we have no idea what's happening, That's too bad" replyI also called the corporate customer service group and was told management would be notified responseNow my Filter pressure is rising again and I have absolutely no idea what to doI have video of contaminant in the filter as well as physical sampleBoth of which I took to the store and

I hired Leslie's to close an in-ground pool while being out of the country for several weeks and paid in advance for the serviceThey missed out a scheduled appointment, so I had to call them back from overseas when I found out a week later, to have them come out and do the jobWhen they finally showed up, they completely botched the job of closing the poolThey ended up incorrectly putting up the cover and left a huge gap about 3ft x 10ft of open area of the poolThey failed to install a cover pump that was sitting nearby, and resulting water accumulation tore a hole in the cover because of the water weightWhen I finally arrived back and saw this, I called them multiple times, only to be told that someone would call me back to resolve the issue, but no one had calledAbsolutely worst company to deal withBEWARE and stay away from this place
Employee hit my car with a cart and then continued to ram my truck to get my attention to load the truck with salt I just boughtWhen I got out of the truck finally, he asked me where I wanted the saltI drive a pick up truckHe was just too lazy to load itThe manager was very unpleasant and didn't believe meNever againWellington location
I have been trying to get a warranty issue repair since September 2, when *** *** *** * *** replaced my pool linerThe pool walls had several rust areas and I was told I needed to do a warranty claim since the pool was only years oldI spent several months trying to get in contact with the right personThe Leslies store I purchased the pool from told me to contact the manufacturer of the pool and they told me they don’t sell to consumers and the store I purchased from needed to handle the claimI spent several months before I started having different surgeries and was incapacitated and gave upI contacted Leslies corporate office after I couldn’t find my paperwork and receipt and was sent the information and given the name of the Regional Manager for the store where I purchased my pool from which was ChrisI contacted Chris on September and emailed him my receipt and he said he was going to look into the matter and get back with me in a couple of days! I told Chris
Needed to have a filter replacedThey gave me an appointment between a.mand noon comma but did not show up until p.m., then told me they needed to charge me $but come back on another day for installUninstall day, only of those dollars was applied to my billThey were scheduled between noon and and showed up at 5:I had to leave for work at Came home to leaky pipe, their new Plumbing made the rest of my equipment inaccessible, and a major leak somewhere (massive bubbles burst out each time the pump turns on)They say they will be here between noon and today to fix itHaha! If it is not repaired properly, I will file a complaintSorry I didn't check here first, but it's a major chain with new stores opening constantly
I would NEVER recommend Leslie's Pools to anyone We decided to buy our in-ground Hayward pool vacuum from Leslie's Pools because of the mail in rebate they were offering, never having dealt with the company before We could not have made a graver mistake The customer service we received was horrible from the start Our credit card was initially charged twiceNot only that but we also had several other minimal charges from them to the tune of a few cents? When we called to inform them of the error they were both rude and uninformative, they could/would not explain what the other charges were Finally, that issue was resolved, only to wait over weeks after the expected delivery time to receive our purchase THEN the package was damaged upon delivery It also had clearly been returned and repackaged On top of this unprofessionalism, the box did not contain either the manual or the warranty So the reason we purchased the vacuum from Leslie's Pools (the rebate) was no longer an option We called Leslie's Pools to inform them of this and request another vacuum, or at the very least a manual and warranty for the vacuum they sent us Not only was their employee callous and incompetent, but she blatantly refused to help us She did not care in the least She gave us a number to call Hayward (the manufacturer) ourselves - this number was not even in service! I am not sure how a company with such little regard for their customers is still in business
I brought in a "Pool Cleaner" currently "Hayward" for repairOne wheel kept jamming resulting in the system not turning, running in straight lines or not moving at all Brought the cleaner to Leslie's in Queen Creek, was assured that after replacing the wheels and several of the gears it would work perfectly Parts were ordered and installed The sales person told me the system was in good condition He spun the wheels and one wheel stuck He forced turned the wheel and they spun Placed the cleaner back in the pool and it appeared to be functioning adequately The next day I noticed it was not moving at all Back to Leslie's, he took it apart and told me he didn't know how it repair it, or he didn't have the right parts Offered to give me a refund against a new piece of equipment I spent $on parts that they would not take back unless I purchased a new unit $plus taxThis after telling me fixing it would be no problem and my old one was in pretty good condition I do know the sales person hasn't been there for more than six months
On the advice of a Leslie's employee I purchased a stainless steel brush to remove algae from pebble tec pool surface prior to super chlorinationAfter using brush I noticed many bristles missing as they had broken off and are now scattered around the bottom of the poolAfter spending hours trying to sweep them towards the drain, I realized the were getting caught in the pool surfaceThis is a safety issue concerning feet in the poolThese are 1/long stainless steel bristles that can be very harmful
Horrible customer serviceWent to their store to purchase a pump for my pool and the cashier was very rudeThe transaction felt rushed and she did not answer any of my questions
I am the Executrix for an estate The Estate has a home that was vacant for nearly years due to illness and subsequent death of the owner As part of preparations to sell the home, Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies was contacted to evaluate the pool and prepare it for use They had "winterized" and "opened" the pool for a number of years prior to the owner's death I was told that they would not service the pool because it had not been serviced for an extended period When I asked to be sure I had heard correctly, the person on the phone just hung up!
I purchased a pool from this company online back in March of this yearI had the pool professionally installed in AprilI noticed the filter was not cleaning pool properly so after several calls to my store they finally established they had sent me the incorrect pump and filter, they then send out a new one I get it I hire back the same guy who put the pool in and when he tries to put it in finds that this filter is brokenI can't even run it without losing water from my poolThe whole situation has been a nightmare I can't even enjoy the pool that I have paid for! Tried calling it takes several attempts just to get through then I ask to speak to a manager but I am forced to go back and forth with the customer service rep who is talking to the managerWhat kind of company is this? Then I ask to be compensated for all the money and time I am losing and I'm told we'll see what we can doSomeone has to fix this problem and I Rufus's to go round and round for any longer!
On 01-02-14, Leslie's installed a new pool pump at my residence The technician had difficulty installing it, so he used a saw and cut the equipment to make it fit The pump began leaking not long afterward On 03-11-16, Leslie's sent a different technician out, and he replaced the pump at no charge because it had been installed incorrectly On 04-07-17, the technician returned because the pump was leaking again He replaced a pump seal which cost $ When the pump was first installed, it cost me $ In 05-17, the pump began leaking again On 05-26-17, I called the local Leslie's' store to see if they could put me in touch with the technician The man at the store began interrogating me to try to establish that I had done something to cause the leak He advised me that he could guarantee me the service people would know if I had let the pump run dry or something else to cause the problem He then had the region manager over the service dept., Dennis S***, call me
