Absolute Worst Customer Service - *** **
I am appalled that the manager of the store snapped at us and said "Let's go" because the store had closed a few minutes earlier The doors were unlocked and we did not check the hours I will NEVER give your locations our business again Also, I will make sure the pool businesses that I know, cease their support of your establishment Your manager of that location is a disgrace! It is no wonder you are rated an "F!"
I went in to Leslie's pools and was completely ignored by the female attendantNot hello,Not be right with you nothing she was to busy flirting with the guys she was helpingThen another customer game in and she helped her while still helping the guysThis was about mnutes, so I just leftWhat happened to customer service? Ordered a nice quart cooler on May 16th It shipped a week late and came defectiveOrder # AI've called several times1-800-537-extwarranty dept.Last on 6/25/spoke to a CaseyShe said she saw I was due a replacement cooler and would call me back shortly after she spoke to her supervisorNo return callI either want my money or what I paid forThank you for your service and your time
I’ve spent *** of dollars in Leslie’s products trying to remedy a pool cloudiness problemI only purchased these specific products (clear aid, yellow out, green to clean, many packets of power powder plus) because the employees guaranteed they would workThe store employees kept telling me to try the products again even when they didn’t workThey said it could be algae, even though my chemical levels were and there was no discoloration, just white cloudinessTurns out it was just small dust particles
A separate issue is Leslie’s offers an “algae free guarantee” but customers are not actually able to enroll in itI met all qualifications and talked to different employees/online customer service reps, but no one could enroll be to the program that guarantees coverage of algae removing products if neededMy pool got algae when I was qualified to be in the program, but the costs weren’t covered due to Leslie’s glitch in never correctly enrolling me

I wanted to respond back to your last response. I spoke to you on the phone as I indicated in my last response. I did listen to your comments and based upon the information you provided came to a conclusion. Unfortunately, the information you provided did not match the damages you are claiming. If you would like to discuss this directly with the manufacturer of the product, Coral Seas, I will be more than happy to provide you with their contact information. You also mentioned that the pool builder provided you with a price of $5,to replaster your pool. Did he mention to you what caused the damage to the plaster?
At this point, we will not be able to comply with your request to pay for half of the cost to replaster your pool
However, if you would like to contact the manufacturer of the product, please let me know and I will provide you with their contact information
I have been a customer of Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies for over years and after my experience on 4/12/I will take my business elsewhereOn 4/3/I purchased an inground pool cleaner through their company's website for $325, a few days later I saw that *** *** *** *** was selling the same model for $On 4/12/I took my unused inground pool cleaner to our nearest leslie's store (miles away) to return the itemThe clerk told me that since the merchandise was purchased online I had to call their 1-number because "according to their policy" they didn't accept online returnsThe sales person was kind enough to give me the 1-number and told me which option to selectBefore leaving I asked the sales person TWICE if I would be charged a shipping fee for the return, he answered TWICE "no" and that I should be receiving my refund in 7-business daysOnce home, I immediately called and lo and behold, thats when I find out that I would be subject to paying a 15% re-stocking fee in additional to $in shipping! That's a total of $60! I told the lady that the sales person gave me a different answer! The lady did not even apologize for the company's miscommunication and answers!! I will never shop on their site and set foot in their store again!
Hello Revdex.com,Leslie's has tried to reach out to the customer twice and was unsuccessfulA voice mail message was left for the customer to make a return call back.Thank you.Leslie's Customer Care Team***
This is my first review ever! But after my experience I had no choice but to write a review…I have been a customer of Leslie’s for many years and they have been great for everyday supplies and suchHowever, if you are planning on making a bigger purchase, beware! I purchased a pool cleaner for $about years ago with the understanding that Leslie’s has a lifetime free labor guarantee and all I would have to do is purchase the broken partWell, after years my cleaner broke so I took it to my local Leslie’s storeWhen I was told by the store manager that the broken part to my pool cleaner cost over $600, I contacted the corporate office to Leslie’s, who then had a general manager out of Dallas call meI explained to him that after a google search of the broken part, I found it for $online and I don’t understand how Leslie’s could charge me 3x as much! He suggested to “just buying a new pool cleaner”Unbelievable! He expected me to believe that the average pool cleaner only had a life expectancy of to years and all parts on line were refurbished! WRONG! I found a great company out of Florida (***) who not only sold me a brand new part, but also send me a how to video with step-by-step instructions on how to replace the part myself! I received it, installed it myself, and it is working like a charm!
This company is trying to monopolize the pool supply industry by buying up all their competitionAlong the way they have become unreasonably greedy with some product markups at 1000%Most of their products are chinese junkMy local mom and pop independent pool supply stores are considerably cheaper with better productsGuess where I will shop? Hope you choke on your profits Leslies

Our technician completed a follow up service call at the customer's home whereby he re-calibrated the pump and installed a new solar actuatorIn addition, he explained how the pump works as well as how the customer can and will realize the savings potential that the store team
explained to her

4/30/2017, purchased a high end aboveground pool from Freddie, Leslie's, Austin Highway, San Antonio, who recommended an installer supposedly accredited by Leslie's
Problems from the beginning - pool delivered damaged, Freddie told us to refuse delivery, replacement would be ordered RUSH After many calls, pool was finally delivered on 6/ Paid $3,for crappy installation that took weeks - pool floor was wrinkled and pool was unlevel by 2-inches - installer said no problem unless inches or more! July 2018, we reported and sent pictures to Austin Highway store to Keith (Freddie gone) that pool wall had pushed out and upright support base is pushing the liner inside the pool causing sharp edges in the liner, which could tear at any time
Keith came, took numerous pictures on 7/21, we made numerous calls for status, was told they were "working on it."
8/30, Keith and Jesse ***, Area Manager, scheduled to take more pictures - no show, delayed, rescheduled until
Leslie’s has been in contact with *** *** in regards to her complaintThe customer paid to have the sand changed in her filter and that does NOT include hauling away the old sandThere is a fee to remove the sand and dispose of the sand and the customer did not pay the additional fee
Although we are sorry for the customer’s loss, we do not believe we are responsible for the loss of her dogIt was the customer’s responsibility to appropriately secure/dispose of the sand if she felt it was going to do any harm to her dogThe customer was told by the vet to put the sand down and the customer already had three bags of sand downThe sand that is used in the filter can be found at any home improvement store (20-grade silica sand)However, once Leslie’s became aware of this situation, our Service Manager went to the customer’s home and removed the sand from the premisesThis was completed purely from a customer service standpoint and we did NOT charge the customer for the service
This is a service complaint about company "Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies"
I am complaining about things:
* service level/qualification of technician
* unexpected charge
First of all, the technician "Barry" is obviously not qualified for this job
He's been to my house timesThe 2nd and 3rd time were to fix troubles he
created in the previous visitsThe 1st time (on 7/6), I called Leslie's to change a 3-way
value for me, so Barry came to do the jobA few days after he left, I found that
one of the pipes he put on had a crack, where water leaked out fromSo I called Leslie's
again to fix this leak (which was obviosly caused by Barry)Then Barry came to
my house the 2nd time on 7/At the end of this 2nd visit, he broke the pipe unions in
different places when he turned on the pumpAnd because of that, I started to
have serious water leaks in my pipesBarry was trying to leave without fixing
these leaks that he createdI stopped him, and he commit
This complain is regarding Leslies pool at this location:
Hwy 6, Missouri City, TX
I brought my pump to the store to change a new capacitorThe pump is still working and I showed the video to the technicianAfter install the new capacitor, the technician got the 220V test cableShe obviously didn't know how to test it, and she was on the phone with another technician while she is doing itShe turned the 220V switch on while connecting the terminal to my pumpAfter a huge spark, my pump terminal had some burning signShe claimed the testing cable is not working and send me to Sugar land storeThe technician who gave instructions to her on the phone
At sugar land store, the technician said my pump is deadBut denied this was because of last store's mistake even after I showed him the video and burning terminal
Worst purchase everGood sales presentation by Bruce, *** poor execution by installing team$paid for a non operational system, company and installer too busy to fix and resolveInstalled system, left papers on door and leftNo quality check, no instructions, nothing! Inop system ruined planned weekend pool party but they didn't careIt was a Friday afternoon and they were "too" busy to fix obvious quality defectsI had to contact manufacturer to resolve I will never use them again and will continue to fight for overcharging and underperforming

Today I called and spoke with the woman who just took over the business The only thing I got out of my entire conversation with her is " we have a new computer system, it's not our responsibility to keep up with your purchase"REALLY? She said they don't keep records therewhat about an audit? What proof do you have about my purchase? She was NO help at all and very abrupt I'm so angry

Another unpleasant interaction with the new manager at Leslie's on Silverbell in Tucson She makes me feel stupid for asking for what I came in to buy She's gruff and surly Today, she told me I was using Fresh N Clear wrong So I read the instructions that are printed on the package out loud, which are in line with how I use it She walked off saying "Well, I guess you don't need my help then." I won't give her any more opportunities to irritate me I DID like the prior manager and help, and would happily return if I ever learn that she has been replaced by someone who lives up to Leslie's stated ethics and conduct policies
