We had Leslie's Service Department come out in November of to Tile Clean/Acid WashWe just got into our pool about months ago, all throughout the pool are areas that are rugged/sharpThey came out to sand the first step down, didn't work! Said they would contact us on what the Bosses were going to do, that was two weeks ago My husband called all week long, left messages David never bothered to contact him back David is there so called lead Technician of all ArizonaWell I want someone to contact us and fix the problem there Technician Robert messed up on in November We've always liked Leslies never had a problem, until now!!! They've come out to the home, they've seen the problem, just let us know you are going to fix it!!!

I feel deceived and misled by Leslie's PoolLast week I went into Leslie's retail store at 90th and Shea and inquired about buying a new pool pump and filter-and was told by Chris, the assistant manager there -who also wrote it down at the time-about the sale prices and the "special" that was also posted nearby stating: "Free Installation" and an extended warranty on the Jacuzzi Pro Grade Cartridge FilterI returned yesterday and said I wanted to purchase the filter and the manager Eric wrote it upIn the process the "Free Installation" suddenly had a $Delivery Charge and a $Materials Charge, both of which I feel are totally inappropriateTo begin with, there was nothing in the store the two times I visited that indicated these charges as part of the "Free Installation" nor did Chris write anything down about this when I first visited the store and he gave me a brochure and hand wrote the information on it as noted aboveAdditionally, it defies logic to say "Free Installation" but to charge for the installer's drive to your home or to charge for "materials" which I was told were things like glue, connecting pipes and the like (there were separate charges for sand and a heavy duty plastic base also)The term "installation" I think to any common person means a person comes and installs the unit-and if in the instance of a pool filter-connects it to the relevant units (e.gpool pump and other lines) as otherwise it is not functional or "installed." I have contacted Leslie's Customer Relations Department and thus far no one has returned my call nor offered to drop these charges totaling $on roughly an $purchase!
As a Revdex.com Member for close to years I feel this business practice is highly misleading and inconsistent with the goals and spirit of a supposedly "Accredited" Business and the honest and truthful business practices that all businesses subscribe to as Revdex.com Members!
Days ago I bought Leslie's Hardness Plus, lbs., I have now been days stirring it in warm water and am still trying to get it dissolvedThis is a terrible product, and after calling the Jones road location where I bought it , the sales person told me yes it takes or days to dissolve, He should have told me that and I would have bought the ready to use stuffI have been days and still can't get finished
This store and the others are usually better with recommendations and service

We purchased a pool pump from Leslie's Pool and the installer removed the exhisting pool pump without from the premises We have asked them (Leslie's Pool) to return the pump to us and they have refused Removal of our propterty was not part of the agreement, nor was is something we authorizes and therefore constitutes theft Please help us to get our property (pool pump) returned to usWe have made multiple calls and the staff has failed to give us a definitve answer nor have they returned our pool pump, to compound matters, the new pump is not working properly and they have refused to replace it as all the repair attemps are ineffective So we are settled with a defective product which the company has failed to repair or replace and they stole our pump which as in good working order The excuse for taking our pool pump is that they said they were doing us a favor
Sent below complaint to Leslie's 9/8/ They responded on 9/saying they'd look into it & get back to me Today is 11/& still haven't heard from them
We have been a long time loyal customer of Leslie's A technician came to do a repair on my pool filter 8/When finished, he turned the filter on to verify it was indeed fixed The motor shorted out He went to the local Leslie's to get replacement parts & did get the filter running Later I shut the motor off; when I turned it back on, it shorted out again!! I immediately called service department, and was informed that no one could come back until 8/22!!
I called another pool supply company, and they were at my house within a matter of hours! This technician could not believe the horrible condition the motor was in, due to the Leslie repairman's negligence--by switching the voltage to the wrong setting!!! When you turn the motor on, it would basically blow up!

I ordered a *** pool cover listed as manufactured by Leslie's list price $ They sent me a Blue Wave NS pool cover with a different item number and SKU I had seen this one when researching what cover I would buy and these were listed as costing $or slightly above and did not have very good reviews The Leslie's rep first assured me I was sent the wrong item and they would either price match or I could return at their cost for the right item After submitting a picture as proof, the next representative told me that I received the correct item even though it was not as described on their website nor my original order formFurther they informed me that they do not price match, I would have to pay to send it back and there would be a 15% restocking fee This is a blatant case of deceptive advertising and fraudulent business practices

I returned to the store referenced in my initial complaint, the clerk was having a difficult time figuring out how to enter my outstanding refund amount into their computer/cash registerHe called his store manager on the phone and immediately handed the phone to me saying the manager wanted to talk to meI was then subjected to the most offensive, rude and unprofessional exchange I have EVER experienced in a retail settingMrStore Manager was apparently aware of my complaints and was on the defensive in the worst possible wayThat man accused me of purchasing the pool game in question, returning it used and presumably, fabricating my complaintDisgusting, to say the leastEven the clerk was embarrassed and apologetic for his manager's bad behaviorThat clerk, ***, was the person who was involved with the sale of the item and my subsequent phone call to the store on the date of purchaseIf he is not fearful of retribution from his manager, he could confirm the veracity of events as I have relayed themI feel sorry for him though, to work for a man with no scruples and I wouldn't be surprised if he declined comment for fear of retaliation. I bought a pool conditioner from leslies pool supplies and I did not work but when I took it back I was told it was some other problem when I told them I had already added what they said I needed they said I needed something elseTheir store manager was a real smart as about everything and finally walked away and said it was y tough ***
Please do not use this company, I called them to fix issue with air bubbles, in my poolwhen the tech showed up, he did not even bother asking what is wrong, he adjusted the cleaner valve from high to low, I had it on high the day beforethen he told me the job is done, informed him that is not why I called you, the issue is air bubbles in the pool He told me that is not why you called Air bubbles in the pool is consider as water flow issue Then he said the issue for the air bubbles is an O-ring that needs to be changed, but he cannot fix it since he does not have it So I paid him the 80$ for service call, and $trip chargeI bought/replace the O-ring that day, another $20, but nothing was fixed I called them twice after that, and I was told someone will call you back, but I never got a call back I guess they have nothing to say to back up their work

I ordered a pool liner online one of the photo shows that this pool line fits j-hook of beaded(I needed j-hook) so I ordered itwe I received it I opened the box and removed it to install only to find out it only fits beaded not j-hookI emailed leslies about a return or if they would send the adaptor so it will workThey asked for a photo which I sent then told me no returns if the box is open and liner removed(the only way to know if it didn't fit is to open the box) and the only reason it didn't fit is that the web site photo is wrongthey also stated that the photo shows it can be used in different ways but you have to buy the adaptor(no small print saying so) The return policy does not say no returns on pool liners but leslies said " nearly impossible to put it back into the package for reshipping" which would make all pool liner non returnable
The *** store is in the business of ripping people off Everytime they test my water, I walk out with hundreds of dollars of chemicals They give conflicting advice based on who helps you that day I recently had a problem with yellow mustard and they sold me $of chemicals that did not work I went to another local pool company and $later my algae problem was solvedI won't do business with them again!

I TALKED TO RYAN WITH LESLIES FRIDAY NIGHT. I NEVER TALKED TO ANY STORE MGR. I DID TALK TO A RUDE EMPLOYEE AT THE PINNACLE PEAK STORE. I ASKED TO USE A COUPON AND HE REFUSEDRYAN OFFERED TO LET ME USE THE COUPON AT THE PINNACLE PEAK STORE ON SATURDAY, BUT I REFUSED. HE SAID I COULD USE THE COUPON AT THE ARROWHEAD LOCATION WHERE I NORMALLY GO. IT WAS THE WEEKEND AND I REALLY DIDNT WANT TO WASTE MY TIME AND FUEL TO DRIVE OUT OF MY WAY FOR A $COUPON. The Technician came out and felt only the steps and one side of the pool which there are portions that are smooth..But he neglected to go throughout the pool which is ruff and there are plenty of places that feel like that!!
The Technician that Leslie's sent out new how old our pool was, but yet that did not stop them from continuing on with the work, that was requested to be doneWe take and have taken very good care of our poolIf the Technician David I believe thought that the pool was too old, perhaps he should not have drained the pool and sanded the first step!!!
We feel that Leslie's pool made a mistake on there behalf...no one has contacted or tried to contact us from Leslie's except for the call from David to my husband to say something about October...If Leslie's feel that they are not at fault perhaps we can get our money back and hire a more professional service to come out and perform the task at handWe are not out for a hand out, but when you hire someone to do a job and that job isn't done properly, then they should at least step up to the plate and take care of it...We have always been customer's of Leslie's Pool's and if this is how they treat there customer's we do not want to be a part of it...We will go elsewhereThanks you,
