I purchased a variable speed pump from them, had them come install it and was told a brand new Hayward pool sweep I had wouldn't work and was "Talked" into purchasing a new pool sweep for $The pool sweep was a Zodiac MX8, in the 1st 6-months of owning the pool sweep it needed (documented) in store repairsNumerous parts were changed more than once, long story short going on our 3rd summer with the sweep now and it STILL doesn't workAgain Leslies is very happy to charge about $in parts again for the 3rd or 4th time for some of those partsWhat was their solution? Since they couldn't return it and allow me to purchase a different model, they offered to give me 50% off of the very same model onlyReally?? I never asked for a refund or a single penny pack, I just wanted a store credit to pick a different branded pool sweep so it wouldn't have cost them a penny especially since the one I wanted was more expensive and I was willing to pay the difference! Also I believe it to be a marketing ploy but Leslies does not allow any negative feedback on their website to be left for their productsI personally know of other people who had a negative experience with their products and we all left negative feedback omitting any price information or any other pertinent identifying information as by their own website warning and amazingly none of our negative feedbacks were allowed on their productsBut I left a positive feedback on something else and it went right throughShady marketing tactics to manipulate the ratings on their products

Ultra Postive! Leslie's Pools at Mall of GeorgiaHave been going to this location for the last several yearsThe new manager for this past year (Brittany) and the new Asst Manager (Shannon) are outstanding! They really go above and beyond to help youAs in past years, I have had significant issues trying to get my pool water just right at the beginning and even during the season Brittany has gone far above and beyond to help me understand not only what I need to do but how I need to do itShannon is also very knowledgeable and people oriented I would recommend these people in this store very highlyIn fact they address me by my name when I walk in Normally I don't do any these kind of reviews unless I find that what I'm getting is exceptional

I am writing about a negative experience I had ordering a product with the company's website I have submitted a letter to Leslie's Pool supply which explains the experience in detail:
I am writing in regards to an order I placed online on 6/6/(see order number) I was first told by clerk at store in Phoenix (Tatum/Greenway) that skimmer net parts "were not sold in stores" and "had to be ordered online" So, I ordered what appeared to be a net attached to a collar (cuff) - that is what the picture showed The price listed was $(reduced from $29.99) and I thought that was a fair price for net and collar I ended up paying $in shipping and $in tax to a full total of $ I received the item in a large box (item was in a x inch baggie) and box was x x foot There was NO receipt, or instructions on how to return When I realized that I had noticed only a cuff, I was very disappointed to say the least, and immediately needed to return item I referred to email on how to return item, but learned that I would be subject to paying a 15% re-stocking fee in additional to $in shipping!! I then went back into store and explained this to store clerk (different clerk) who very eloquently explained that the clerk who talked to me previously was "new" and "made a mistake" He then told me "sorry about that", and did offer to take the cuff back but only could give me "$8.00" for it He said that was store policy, since it differs from online purchasing After some careful consideration, I decided to return cuff for $and purchase a new skimmer net for $plus tax( I had previously decided to keep cuff and buy a net so I could attach them together to old handle, but wasn't able to due to rivets, so I returned both net and cuff The clerk then sold me new skimmer net after crediting me for return of cuff and net) I am just disgusted that the company would sale something that was not as indicated on their webpage and then charge return shipping of $instead of $7.95, and not allowing a simple return to the customer's satisfaction I identify the following problems:
1) No receipt in box
2) Over charge in shipping - it shouldn't cost $to ship something lightweight and small from Phoenix to Phoenix
3) Re-stock fee on small item Totally unfair to customer You don't charge this in your store unless it is a large item
4) Misleading advertising- The item was listed as a Resh cuff, but has a picture of cuff attached to net
5) Inexperienced staff!- who don't know all the answers (with exception to JNations)
I expect to receive my money back I paid $on a part of an item I will NEVER order online again!! I would accept store credit I will be submitting this message to Revdex.com

Leslie's installed a pool liner for my disabled mother in JuneLess than five months later, the liner is pulling out of the coping in several places and the installers installed the liner over bolts that had held an old diving board in place (the diving board is not there and has not been there for years); they could have trimmed the bolt ends, undone the bolts, or installed extra padding over them, but instead they did nothing and the bolts are now protruding through it
My mother likely does not have long to live and she did not get to enjoy her pool for more than a month this summer because of the company's despicable job

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER! After waiting weeks a Leslies chlorinator was installed by Lesley's Didn't work Promised us they would be out Monday It's Friday and every day they come up with a new excuse I wouldn't use Leslies service department again if they were the LAST source in the USA I would have the pool filled in firstThey have no respect for others time, money, or their own obligations/responsibility We should have been a top priority considering our unit or service was/is obviously defectiveCorporate offers zero assistance and operates like a mom and pop versus a corporation of it's size FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!

President offered to match the price, (the store manager did as well) but he doesn’t have the product or a receipt and we can’t see any matching transaction tied to his account The Regional Vice President offered to have him visit one of our stores and we can adjust the price but the customer declined the offer

We to Leslie's Pool Supply on *** *** ** *** ***to have my pool water tested They tested it and gave me a computer printout with a detailed analysis of the water tested This printout shows exactly what the water needs to be balanced and it also gave which chemicals to add and the steps to take The associate got the chemicals that the printout said my water needed, I then purchased the chemicals and took them home and followed the instructions exactly as specified on my printout I did the first step and waited the time specified, I proceeded to step 2, and the water immediately turned milky white, I went back to the store I got the water tested at and was told that I had been sold the wrong chemicals and they gave me another chemical that was suppose to correct the problem but my poo is still milky white and nothing they have recommended has worked and now they are telling me that the water will clear up eventually but it has been a week and still it is yucky and whi

I am rejecting this response because:
Again, he doesn't listen or read High PH can also cause the discoloration and roughness...look it up and learn And the company that came to price re-surfacing it validated that it could have been high acidity or high PH And above all, I am not the chemist but what I do know is that before the program of chemicals I was given, I had a consistent color pool and right after, it was destroyed You point it all toward Coral Seas but I don't know which of your chemicals or the interaction of your chemicals did it...I just know it was done Obviously you don't want to take any responsibility so I'll see what other action I can take against you and at least warn others away from using Leslie's pool chemicals because if something ever happens, no one will take responsibilitySo sadCustomer service and faith is dead there.

We spoke to the customer 6-29-who explained that the bristles from the brush were in the bottom of his pool and he requested that we come and remove themHe was advised that we do not provide the services he's looking forThe
customer was advised that the bristles coming out of the brush are a result of either dry rot or chemical damage but we cannot remove any bristles from his pool as our technicians do not provide this serviceThank you

I went in today to get one gallon, yes just one gallon of the rubberized pool paint which they show on their shelf The young man told me that they had plenty in stock, however, he could not sell it to me because a manager had to be there The manager would not be there until tomorrow Well, it is supposed to rain and I had already purchased cans of this stuff but now that I drove all the way there, I cannot get just one gallon Why didn't they shut down the whole store if they can't sell what they have in stock? Hate that place!

I had a tech come out to clean the filters in my pool on May 6thAfter cleaning the filters he claimed he could not get the band clamp back on because the bolt was strippedHe told me I need to purchase a new band clamp so he ordered itHe came back on the 16th of May to replace the band clampI was charged for a second service call of $for him to come back out on the 16th

We nought a automatic pool cleaner from themIt didnt work rightTook it back within days they charged me a hundred bucksWill never use this company again for anything

Ordered a pool pump motor in April of it took almost 2weeks to get it, in the meantime the person who was to install it could not do it for a couple of weeksWhen he was able to come and do it he informed us we needed extra parts So we went to order additional partsThey finally came in and it was wrongThe girl tells me oh sorry I forgot to tell you you needed additional parts to go with the additional part I got my money back on the additional part, but they refuse to work with me on the motor, because their policy is days!
