I have received a faulty recommendation from Leslies staff to treat my pool for the first time and now it is completely amber brownI have called and left messages at Corporate several times and no one has called me back! When I brought my sample in, the girl in the [redacted] Ca store did not test for metals which my water has If you add chlorine to water with metals in it will turn brown! The girl did not test for metals and I told her that I had metals in my water nor did she tell me not to treat the water until I clear up the metals Leslie Pools claims they test for metals I put my trust in this company and now I have absolutely NO support from Corporate and I have a pool that I cannot use a week before my son’s high school graduation! I treated my water with the Pool service recommendation and now I have a huge mess on my hands and NO ONE FROM THE CORPORATE headquarters are assisting me with my problem

I contacted Leslie's Pool to replace a valve on my pool filter They told me there would be a charge of $to come to my house and the labor charge was $ When the service technician completed the replacement, which took approximately minutes, I was told the labor was $ When I questioned the double labor charge I was told that Leslie's tries to cheat them by giving the wrong labor charge during the scheduling of the appointment This is certainly deceptive and if I had known the labor was $I would not have scheduled the repair I then called the service department to complain about the incorrect labor charge and was referred to someone who I was told would take my complaint When I talked to the customer service person I was told she would need to refer me to someone else and that someone was the original person I talked to who wanted to refer me back to the other person This is an effective way to stop complaints The call number for this repair is [redacted]

We hired and paid Leslie's Pool to do a diagnostic test on our pool in February 2016. The test came back as having a valve that needed to be replaced on the heater. The service person ordered the part and came back and fixed this valve in March 2016. The heater was used 3 times and then stopped working again, so we called Leslie's in May 2016 (within the 90 days to have the original services covered under their guarantee) to let them know the heater that they "fixed" was not working. We requested a different technician since the first one that came out did not actually fix our problem. A new technician came out to look at it again after canceling several appointments last minute which prolonged us getting services. The technician said a new piece of the heater was broken that wasn't disclosed in the original diagnostic test and needed to be fixed. He said he had to order a part that was related to the circuit board and he said that this problem should have been noted by the first

Absolute Worst Customer Service - [redacted] I am appalled that the manager of the store snapped at us and said "Let's go" because the store had closed a few minutes earlier The doors were unlocked and we did not check the hours I will NEVER give your locations our business again Also, I will make sure the pool businesses that I know, cease their support of your establishment Your manager of that location is a disgrace! It is no wonder you are rated an "F!"

Sent below complaint to Leslie's 9/8/ They responded on 9/saying they'd look into it & get back to me Today is 11/& still haven't heard from them We have been a long time loyal customer of Leslie's A technician came to do a repair on my pool filter 8/When finished, he turned the filter on to verify it was indeed fixed The motor shorted out He went to the local Leslie's to get replacement parts & did get the filter running Later I shut the motor off; when I turned it back on, it shorted out again!! I immediately called service department, and was informed that no one could come back until 8/22!! I called another pool supply company, and they were at my house within a matter of hours! This technician could not believe the horrible condition the motor was in, due to the Leslie repairman's negligence--by switching the voltage to the wrong setting!!! Hired Leslie's to troubleshoot an item on an inspection report regarding our pool equipment and possible leak in pool motor that runs equipment for pool. He kept flipping the switch on and off and caused an explosion that ripped through the filter tank and tore a hole in it, draining all the water. It could have killed us if the lid flew off as I was standing right by watching this guy. He tells us he didnt do anything!! I told him you need to fix the tank now....it wasnt even part of the inspection concerns!!! Also he didnt ask if my husband and I alright and proceeds to leave the scene, get in his truck and leave, called his superbisor who refused to help us on that Saturday...still no contact from Leslies...Leslies has a contractors license number and we hired them before. My house is sold, wecalled them to see if motor was leaking based off an inspection report. The tank was not of concern. I have pictures of the equipment from the inspection. We purchased a pool pump from Leslie's Pool and the installer removed the exhisting pool pump without from the premises We have asked them (Leslie's Pool) to return the pump to us and they have refused Removal of our propterty was not part of the agreement, nor was is something we authorizes and therefore constitutes theft Please help us to get our property (pool pump) returned to usWe have made multiple calls and the staff has failed to give us a definitve answer nor have they returned our pool pump, to compound matters, the new pump is not working properly and they have refused to replace it as all the repair attemps are ineffective So we are settled with a defective product which the company has failed to repair or replace and they stole our pump which as in good working order The excuse for taking our pool pump is that they said they were doing us a favor

Barry needs to be fired. Lies, doesn't acknowledge female customers, never gets back to a customer, refuses to refund money even with the receipt. Sells items not needed and are the most expensive in the category to customers. I told him he was losing multiple accounts he just said who cares. We bought a pool pump motor and other items in advance, pool turned black waiting on technician to arrive, excuse after excuse, still no technician. Asked for a refund with receipt, Barry said he's not authorized to give refunds. Pinch A Penny is less expensive. We only shopped Leslie's for convenience and Craig's niceness. Barry is money grubbing, lying, rude employee.

I went in to Leslie's pools and was completely ignored by the female attendant. Not hello,Not be right with you nothing she was to busy flirting with the guys she was helping. Then another customer game in and she helped her while still helping the 2 guys. This was about 10 mnutes, so I just left. What happened to customer service? Shame on them. My business will be taken elsewhere.

I purchased this item, which was advertised with a year warranty 18' x 36' Rectangle Solar Swimming Pool Cover, Mil, Year, Blue Sku: SolarMax IG It fell apart after two years I contacted Leslie Pool, provided pictures, and asked for a refund They came back to me saying that the item was not covered for chemical damage (i.ebeing used to cover a pool) How is a pool cover not supposed to incur chemical damage when it is in constant contact with either salt water (as in my case) or a chlorinated pool? I believe this is advertising, and consumers should not be tricked into buyin this product

My wife and I bought a house in *** We were moving from the *** area Two issues we've already had with Leslie's PoolsFirst issue: I called for a "pool school" I figured I needed to know how to run the pool and spa that came with the house When *** with Leslie Pools arrived, he was very unfriendly He went to the pool and started looking over the various parts and finally I had to ask if he was going to show me how to run the pool He covered things very fast; I tried to write down as much as possible and even take pictures of what he was saying Our pool is an automation panel that was not connected properly in that the air and water/spa sensors were not connected He said it would take about $1,to fix it up I felt all along he was trying to sell me instead of school me I later found out the parts are $each - so there is no way installation would cost $ Plus I was charged a different amount than what I was quotedIssue 2: A few days later my pump went out So I went into the local store in *** and was told a new single-speed motor would cost about $out the door Again, I did not feel comfortable with my interaction so I told him I needed to check with the wifeInstead, I called a local pool service company who came out to look at the pool and give me an estimate His first comment was that *** law requires all new filtration pumps installed / replaced need to be variable speed and that no one can sell me a single-speed motor I checked *** and sure enough this guy was right!!!
My experience with Leslie's has been nothing short of their being decietful - and even scammy
