An end of term invoice was mailed to the customer on two separate occasions, 7/14/2017 and 8/13/2017. Per the terms and conditions of their contract, the customer is responsible for the Disposition Fee. As an indirect automotive finance company, KMF is not related to the Dealer, and was not present at the time of the transaction, and did not participate in any of the negotiations therewith regarding the financing of their new vehicle. lease early. Early Termination liability is detailed in his lease contract.
When the customer’s vehicle was sold at auction, the realized value was less than the adjusted lease balance, leaving a deficiency. We then applied a market adjustment, lowering the deficiency. The advanced lease payments the customer had made were then applied toward that deficiency, leaving the remaining balance the customer is being invoiced for.

Per our previous response, the payment in question was received prior to the buyout amount being received and was sent and initiated by the customer.
KMF is required to collect sales tax and remit to the state when a vehicle is sold.

I think provide en end of lease to a 75 year lady is not the answer. Additionally, the supposed wear and tear damage is 2" by 2", is that worth $508? Or is it just another way to continue milking money from the customer who naively enough, got another lease from you. Way to go!

[I specifically stated that I wanted the tracking number of this mail/courier delivery given to me. KMF has told me several times they are sending my lien release, and I have yet to receive one. Since one lien release was allegedly returned to them and nobody ever contacted me, this is not satisfactory. KMF has not shown me that they are properly tracking these deliveries; that is why I wanted to track this delivery myself.]

Per our original response, the vendors utilized comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The visit was to the address on file for the customer who holds joint responsibility for the account.

The fee in question is listed on the customer’s contract as the Disposition Fee. It is immediately next to the monthly payment amount.

That is horrible customer service that a company isn't willing to allow someone a second chance. No one is prefect. People have hardships that are out of their control and for a company to literally tell them they are just out of luck is wrong. I did the best I could. I catch my payments up just as I stated I would. I honestly believe that if it was one of people in higher office, the company would give them a second chance. I love my Kia but after this contract, I will never do business with Kia again.

The sales tax on a vehicle is collected based upon where the vehicle is...
garaged. When the customer updated their address to Washington, it was misunderstood that the vehicle was also being garaged there. The customer has since communicated to us that this is not the case, that the vehicle is garaged in California. As such, we made the appropriate adjustment to the sales tax being collected. There is no longer $4.40 showing past due.

I have an online account which doesn't give me access to checks. My bank doesn't provide a bill payment option for Kia finance and I tried making payments on the phone to your agents but there is a substantial fee to do it.If I am allowed to make s phone payment to your agents without a fee it would work great, if this possible to waive the fee for payment for the remaining of the Lease and waive the current late fees. I would accept it as resolved.Thank you
