Any payments received from
the customer in September would be reported
to the credit bureaus in
October. The same applies for any
correction to the balance being owed. Once
that information is provided to the bureaus, each bureau then has their own
timeframe for updating their customer records

I currently own a Kia and tried to sell it to a carmax location. Kia of America comes up as a lien holder for some reason even though I have a title in hand with only my name on it. Several phone calls and faces to their customer service number and I still have not got a straight answer regarding a lien release on a car I paid cash for. Unbelievable that there isn’t a direct number to call for their title department. Going to have to take the day off and drive to their office in fountain valley to try and resolve this problem.

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. After a horrible accident, my husband’s car was totaled, we went through the steps to have insurance and GAP pay the balance. We forwarded everything requested and it got lost somewhere. After 7 months or so, I got hit with a 50 point credit score reduction for “failure to pay”. Not once did I get a letter, phone call, anything asking for a payment. They told me I have a 6 month courtesy window AFTER it was reported. All we had left was like 1000 dollars. I would’ve paid that had I known this company would ruin my credit! I have called, pleaded, begged for them to remove it as I did everything that was asked and responded immediately to the report- and they haven’t resolved the issue. They even made it worse by reporting it as a “charge off” after it was Paid. And don’t you know they sent me a refund for more than the balance when gap finally paid? These are terrible people and I wish I never had the misfortune of dealing with them.

Have been and continue to have bad service with Kia. Have been trying to transfer ownership. I’ve been calling them for two weeks to get a simple form to send back along with paper work necessary. The first time they sent me another persons paper work with private information from another deceased customer. The second they said they would send it and they never did the third time they said they couldn’t help me. The fourth time they finally gave me another fax number because I asked for a super visor. I’m now sending back the wrong paper with the deceased persons scratched off along with the rest of the paper work in hopes that we can get the registration in another ten days. In the meanwhile my mom can not use her car for ten days. Mayor inconvenience! And no one is responsible?! Come on

For a month I have faxed mailed and called kia attempting to get the title of the car I purchased. Kia continues to say they have not received the bill of sale which has been faxed and mailed. I am beyond frustrated as now my registration on my car is expired. Customer service has not been helpful but to continue to offer me Fax numbers and to just tell me to keep mailing and faxing. I have spoke to supervisors and managers who will not put me in touch with someone in the titles department.

4/24/2017 and 5/24/2017.  As such, we will be unable to provide further assistance in this form until 12 full payments have been made on the loan since the date of the previous extensions. Im having the same problem have been in touch with customer service for two weeks already. My step dad died and need the paper work to get the car registered in my mother’s name.

Per our previous response the customer scheduled an automatic payment via our website to begin on 8/15/2016. Additionally the information entered by the customer was not changed by KMF as suggested by the customer.

In addition, on 9/29/2017, the customer contacted KMF at which time a thorough review of her charges was conducted and it was determined all were applicable.  Pursuant to the terms of the customer’s lease agreement, she is due for the Early Termination Liability outlined in the end of term invoice, per her contract. Per our initial response, during a phone conversation with the customer on 9/29/2017, the customer requested the refunded in question to be applied to her new account. The refund check in question was then stopped, per her request and applied accordingly to the new account. Our family has been harassed with phone calls regarding a deceased person account. We have faxed death certificate more than once. The deceased was the only name on the account
