My complaint with Chase is they filed a 1099c in December of that is a cancellation of debt ever since then they have reported to all three credit agencies we are late a hundred twenty plus days every month for five and a half years till now they cancelled the debt we were in a debt consolidation payment plan through a law firm and they stopped everything so they cancelled the debt and wrote it off but now we have been late for five and a half years and they say there right I don't believe this. Dear Sir or Madam;This letter is written in reference to complaint ID *** with Chase BankChase Bank responded via a letter on their resolution which is saying they did nothing wrong and I am responsible for all the fees I was charged and already paidThis is no resolution at allI would expect a fair and equitable resolution with fees charged refunded at a minimum, but Chase is unwavering in their belief that they did nothing wrong.Despite multiple messages, someone from Chase Bank has never connected with meIt appears to be deliberate on their partThey left messages on my home phone when they knew I was at workThey never called my cell phone despite repeated requests for them to do soI was finally able to speak with a Chase representative after three weeks of calling them times a day and after one year and eight months of trying to get them to call meChase Bank has been completely unresponsive and that did not change with the filing of the Revdex.com Complaint. So actually, you just sent me a copy of the credit card agreement with a feeble letter that explains NOTHING as to your reasoning for holding me liable for fraudulent charges that I now suffer fromLiterally, all your message said was we are holding you liableThere is no valid reasoning, and nothing to show that they aren't fraudulent (because they ARE FRAUDULENT), just you deciding not to honor your policyYour policy that actually states:
"Just as with any card, if someone steals your credit card number but you still have the card, Chase must refund all fraudulent charges, but only if you file a report within days."
They did, I did, and you didn'tYou have shared absolutely nothing to show that it wasn't fraud (because -- and I can't stress this enough -- it WAS fraud) and yet you won't honor your own words and policiesI realize this doesn't affect your life and that's why you don't care -- but this is my life and this fraud that you refuse to take care of has huge negative implications, including my inability to pay rent if I have to pay these charges that I never madeAnd if that happens, I will absolutely hire an attorney to get both the fraud money I am owed, and any other financial issues this causes -- because you shouldn't get away with this.
That is unacceptable, and you know it.
