I was interested in dealing in Forex and I believe I was scammed into paying this company for a subscription to IML Academy. The company does not look legit and based on reviews it appears to be a pyramid scheme. They responded to my email stating they would refund me only if I showed my licence or passport. I have never heard of such a thing. Please look into it.

On the *** of September I was enrolled with IML. I am a college student who simply needed to earn extra funds in order to put myself through school. I entrusted IML with my money in order to provide me with education. However, I was not pleased with the material and whole subscription so I decided to email support in order to receive my money back. I sent this request on the *** of September and did not receive a reply from a Moonyoon until the *** which refund was promised within 7-10 days and I was told my subscription would be cancelled. Up to this day, October *** I have not received my refund and all I have been told after sending over 30 emails is that they are waiting for a response from their finance department and that my ticket was sent to a manager to be reviewed and to be patient. I feel like I have been scammed as a simple, trying college student and I think it is very unfair and cruel.

This still has not been resolved as the business has not provided me with the Transaction I.D which is simply a 7 digit number beginning with 4 or 5 in order for Maxicash to track my refund and I have sent SEVERAL emails to IML requesting this and no response.

I signed up for the IML Platinum Package for $225 and after discovering I didn't have the psychological makeup to become a trader, I decided to ask for my refund before the 7 day money back period was over. This business billed me $225 for courses on forex tradingand a $6.75 international transaction fee on the pretense of false advertising. I believed that the money was going to investing and it wasn’t and then I was put into a contract where they would bill me an additional $150 every month unless I got two people to sign up under me. I believe this a pyramid scheme and the business should be allowed to run legally. I contacted them and received no support back. I also was never notified that I could receive a refund within 7 business days but by reading the reviews I don’t think they would have issued me a refund anyway.

I purchased the Platinum package oct.*** for $225.00 and by oct. *** afternoon I couldnt get into anything on IML the site was saying my payment is due. The money has been withdrawn from my checking account but I dont have access to the services and I have proof of payment. I either need my money back or I need the service I bought. I have emailed the company twice and have not heard anything. I am very disappointed and will be telling everyone I know about how unprofessional this company is and how I feel like I have been scammed.

I have come to acknowledge that this business is a pure scam. its almost end of November and am just getting a response now. They just entice people with fake flashy lifestyle and try so hard to collect their money by all means and then abandon them. As we have explained - We unfortunately cannot provide a refund of a third party payment. You will need to go directly to that person you sent the money to. This practice is not allowed in the company for precisely this reason and why everyone needs to make their own payments.
Please provide us the requested information of who this person was, so we may take appropriate action on their account.

This is unacceptable! This money was sent to one of your Mentee's, and after Olivia sent the money and told me about this on the 3rd, I told her that this was shady business activity and you need to request the money back. They in turn told her to cancel the account (which she did) and the refund would be sent to her. Is this what your company teaches their employees? This is exactly why no business should be dealing with minors without the parent's explicit permission!!! I will continue this complaint until the money is sent back!

I signed up with I Markets Live because I had a friend that was doing it with the foreign exchange market or whatever. So 3-4 days after getting I decide that I’m better off with out the account and subscription so I proceeded to cancel my subscription and get a refund. It says on their website that to do that you just have to send them a email stating that you want a refund before 7 days of having the subscription. So I sent them a email like it says and I got a confirmation email back saying my account was cancelled and that I would receive my refund in 7-10 business days, the date was September , 2019 when I got that last email and it is now October *** and there’s been no word or sign from them about my refund. I was told to contact Maxicash about my refund and first of all I didn’t give my money to maxicash so I shouldn’t have to be the one contacting them. Second of all I did try to call maxicash and the number they have as a contact is not a valid number. I was told it would be no longer than 7-10 days so I don’t see how it almost a month since I requested this refund and I have yet to receive it. I believe this company is a scam because I seen many complaints saying it was which is why I wanted a refund on my money in the first place.

You selected to use a third party processor (MaxiCash) to make your payment. They are the ones who processed the payment and then sent that payment to IM. We have since issued the refund order (as provided on the screen). You would need to contact MaxiCash and see why it has not posted yet. Much like bank returns or any other kind of return, once IM sends the refund, we don't have control over how long it takes. It's the same with credit card refunds. We issue the payment to the bank, the bank gets it back to your card. We cannot say how long it will take, we can only give the average time and if there's an issue you would need to contact your bank. It's the same in this situation, you need to contact MaxiCash and ask them why the funds haven't posted yet.

I contacted the imarketslive customer support about issuing a refund being that I was within the days given to receive one. They waited days to respond then claimed that I was no longer able to receive it although within the emails they clearly stated that I was within the correct time frame.

I signed up for iMarketsLive on September *** and paid $164.95 to sign up. They have a 7 day money back guarantee if for any reason you are dissatisfied. Well, I quickly learned it's not for me at all. My mentor did nothing to help as far as guidance; you were literally thrown out to the wolves after you paid that money. I emailed support to ask for a refund & cancellation of my account on Oct *** and I've still heard absolutely nothing.
