Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As a part time wedding planner, your determination that I violated the terms of use is unfairly discriminatory based on my purchasing patternsBy filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, I have since learned that this is a common practice of yoursI have contacted each of the manufacturers and retailers for the rebates I rightfully earned and notified them of the situation as well as advised them not to pay you since the money won't make it to the end userI will continue to correspond with them on the matter as I see fitWhile the amount of rebates may seem insignificant, judging by the number of people with similar complaints, it appears that you are pocketing money that isn't rightfully yoursI will do everything in my power to assure that you suffer your misguided business practices Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello, Thank you for the concern regarding your accountsWe have completed a second review of your accounts and are firm in our decision to maintain deactivation on both of your earning accounts with IbottaIbotta has created a referral program that grants users $for every successful NEW user that an existing user invites to use IbottaOn October 21, 2016, this user intentionally created a SECOND Ibotta account using the referral code from her FIRST Ibotta accountIt is clear to us that the user was attempting to fraud Ibotta by inviting herself to join Ibotta in order to earn the $creditThen the user continued to earn on BOTH accounts thus violating Ibotta's TermsThe user also shared the same receipt between the two accounts in order to earn addtional Ibotta credit with an already submitted receiptWe verified that more than one account was created using your informationPer Ibotta’s Terms of Use, Section 11, users may not create more than one (1) Ibotta accountWe have verified that you have attempted to refer at least one account that uses the same account or purchase informationPer Ibotta's Terms of Use, Section 10.11, users may not exploit or attempt to exploit Ibotta’s referral bonus program in an effort to earn illegitimate referral bonuses or credit(s)This includes the following: inviting oneself on an additional account or inviting others who share the same mobile deviceWe also verified that you have submitted receipts that were first submitted by another userPer Ibotta's terms of use, Section users may not upload receipts to Ibotta that have already been uploaded by you or another user (regardless of the rebates being redeemed by each user)Therefore, we are firm in our decision to keep both of this user's accounts deactivated as the user intentionally violated Ibotta's TermsWe appreciate your understandingThank you

I tried on a CPU and my password does not work!!! They are stating that there is a conflict with the bonuses in question but when they say you have to make x amount of purchases to claim the say January bonus for dollars that is where I make separate purchases to count for that bonus and then you have a level January bonus I would do the same thing to get that bonusAs far as my shopping habits who are you to say how I should shop and how I shouldn’t? I used Ibotta for things that appealed to me I didn’t just go buy something because it was on IbottaIf [redacted] *** was on there I used it I drink ***Is the [redacted] water was there I used it as I drink ***If [redacted] was on there is used it as I drink [redacted] The same goes for [redacted] I’m not brand specific when it comes to beerThey pretty much all taste the sameAs far as my purchases as [redacted] again if it appealed to me I bought it here again the yarn I buy was never on the rebate thingSo I always watched for the 20% cash back to appear in my [redacted] section of Ibotta and that’s when I would use itThis just seems to be an ongoing complaint with this companyDid I enjoy using Ibotta? I don't want to waste more time with this businessThey only point fingers at users but don't take responsibilities and admit the loopholes in their systems that allow users to make all kinds of mistakesThey are very quick and strict to catch user mistakes though.Yes we did share receipts between two family accounts, but it was for totally different items purchasedI already told them many times, I didn't read their "terms" and didn't know users shouldn't share receiptsWe made a point NOT to submit the same items from the same receipt twice into the systemsOur intent was to abide the terms of useAt this point, we do not plan on using Ibotta ever againWe do not care if they open/close our accounts any moreBut we feel bad all our earnings have been robbed by a business THIEF who instead treats their users like criminals!
