With that said, we always attempt to follow the manufacturer’s suggestions first to ensure the most efficient and effective operation of the specific piece of equipment. Many times the manufacture’s suggestions will also help to prolong the life of the equipment. Steve is an excellent technician. He was clean, courteous and on time. He explained everything in layman's terms and even explained how certain things work. Also, since my system is older, he just mentioned I may want to get a quote as some point on a new system, just in case.

Let me be clear. This is NOT a review of Steve, the technician.
This IS A REVIEW of Horizon. The technician rightly installed a Hard Start Kit to get my compressor working. However, I was charged $305.00 for a part that can be bought locally for $50.00, at most. I understand profit motive but a 500% markup is a bit ridiculous. I could go into some of the other fees/rates I was quoted for other parts and services but will save that for some other time.
Needless to say, be cautious if Horizon is supplying your parts.

Technicians was respectful and pleasant. Knowledgeable and willing to spend time answering questions.

Steve was on time, respectful and very thorough.

Central A/C was not working. Frank D. was on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, did the repair and some additional service needed, and cleaned up after himself. He explained everything before performing the needed repair, including the pricing, and held to the quote. Will definitely use Horizon in the future.

Steve C. from Horizon Services was not only professional, but also knowledgeable. He diagnosed the AC problem quickly and provided a clear explanation of service options.

I have had a marvelous experience with this gentlemen. He arrived promptly and being a full professional set out to clear main drain. although clog was in county line. Ken stayed around to see the process through to a successful conclusion.
