According to our records, he purchased a CPWT2P-4 service plan, which is administered through Warrantech. Our representative contacted the administrator and was informed that the technician was unable to run the proper diagnostics due to the different version of the operating system installed on the computer.
It is our understanding that Mr. [redacted] would need to restore the computer to the factory-installed version of Windows in order to continue with repair. If he has any questions, Warrantech can be reached at (877) 456-9643.

I have received your follow-up letter regarding [redacted] concerns about the television.
We regret his continued disappointment. However, we are unable to offer the refund he requested. Our records indicate that he received a store credit for the bundle price of the original television.
As indicated in the Terms and Conditions for the service plan, replacement of the television deems the coverage fully performed. The service plan is not transferrable and is not eligible for a refund. The service plan does not cover reimbursement of sales tax. If he has any questions about the service plan, the plan administrator can be reached at ([redacted].

A 30 day warranty from shipment is comical when you consider the time from installation in a new home to first use. Obviously HH Gregg simply won't stand by their products.

The television was removed about 1/3 of the way by the stock person the appliance supervisor did not check the television and I was not asked to examine the television. I believe the box was opened before. I have family and friends that bought televisions from there before and the TV were never checked like this one was. When I brought the Television back the supervisor was not there the general manager Mike was and told me the television was my problem and not theirs. I have checked with a few appliance stores and they said they never open a box to examine a Television. I had a funny feeling when I left the store of why they would open a box but I didn't pay attention to it. I never thought their would be a problem. I truly believe this box was a return and was opened before. The damage they claim was under the energy sticker.This could not have been seen even if it was examined. If that's what they had in mind to examine for damage why was I not asked to verify it was not damaged and sign off on it. I do not except this company explanation. This television was returned with a Mentor Police escort and my brother-in-law as a witness. I can't believe any company would do this to a customer. I purchased from this store before and my daughter bought a Television on the same day as mine. Part of a reparable company is standing behind their products. I want the transaction cancelled no other resolution is acceptable.

I purchased a refrigerator and stove on my hhgregg card. After 3 failed attempts to deliver, I still don't have my appliances. Come to find out that my stove had Bennett sold. When I spoke with customer service, they could care less. I was lied to throughout the entire ordeal. It was certainly an ordeal. I will never purchase from them again. No matter the price!
