appreciated the opportunity to respond.
 FMR is a
collection agency handling an unpaid account in Ms. [redacted]’s name.  The personal loan originated with [redacted] Service. The last four...

account number digits are [redacted].  We are attaching the verification of debt
letter with our response for Ms. [redacted]’s convenience. 
FMR did speak with Ms. [redacted] on July 28,
2015 and again the next day on July 29, 2015, whereby she stated that she would
provide our representative with documentation from her bank regarding the
personal loan.  Unfortunately, Ms.
[redacted] did not follow up with FMR and only through this complaint did we
learn that she had no intentions to.  FMR
did call other contacts in an effort to verify Ms. [redacted]’s location
information.  All skip-tracing efforts
are done in compliance with federal law, specifically the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act, (FDCPA).
It is unfortunate that Ms. [redacted] was
unable to resolve this completely with our office and has relied on
misinformation from the internet from which to base her complaint.  We wish there was a way for us to address
these completely incorrect allegations as consumers feel the need to slander
legitimate companies.  FMR is not a “fraud”
and is in fact registered with the Secretary of State as a legitimate company.  We will honor Ms. [redacted]’s desired resolution
and not contact her again regarding this account.  We regret this could not have been solved
directly and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our office.

Once I filed my complaint and supplied my "other number," FMR began calling that number.  We again filed a complaint with the FCC and with the FTC. These people are scam artists and crooks. We do not wish to be bothered by them. Clearly their history demonstrates this abuse.

to your findings "over the web", there is not a collection agency out there that doesn't have slanderous comments all over the web. The allegation that FMR is a scam is completely untrue. For some reason it is legal for companies to be slandered up and down all over the internet with no proof of the allegations.
