Endurance Warranty Services Reviews (%countItem)

I Latisha *** made my November payment on the 1st that morning, when I recieved a call that evening stating my claim was denied based on what *** Service Center in Emporia Va. where my car been sitting at since Aug. called to get a claim processed which they denied me from the beginning. Not only they denied my claim but they even denied a Insurance Adjuster to come down and even see what's really going on with my car. They based the claim off slug that *** told them that he seen around the motor not to mention I Latisha *** the owner of the dodge charger went in the next day and had a conversation with the man from the shop who took me to the back where my car was at and showed me the slug which he showed me was not built up and is only on one side of the motor which he mention to me was strange. He then told me that he don't believe that have nothing to do with what's going on with my car, he then showed where my timing chain jumped timing which might caused more to the motor which might be deeper down in the motor and he wouldn't know if a Insurance Adjuster didn't come out to see whats really wrong with it. The timing chain is loose along with something else along with it, I can't remember but I do know Endurance have done got $1,423.02 out of me since June which not to mention I never been late nor missed a payment and they going to have the nerve to give me a hard time not knowing what's really going on with my car which pisses me off because that's free money that got out of me that I didn't have to spare but I made a way only because I knew I was close to end to paying my car off and knew in the future I will probably run into some problems but I didn't expect it to be so soon. All I'm asking for a refund of ALL MY MONEY so I can take my business else where. I don't like to be a value customer and get shot down without even having a chance to get the people out to see what's really going on with my car.

Customer Response

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

To Whom it May Concern:

I would like to retract my complaint, Complaint # *** , against Endurance because I complained against the company in error. (If you want to be more descriptive afterward, that is fine – i.e. “I complained against the wrong company – Endurance was not at fault” or “Endurance was reviewing my claim and I mistakenly thought the company denied the claim”
Thank you,

Sincerely,

Latisha

Art was very helpful and very well versed in the policy I had which made taking care of my claim hassle free. This company has never let me down . Hands down the best around.

My experience with Endurance wimas extremely wonderful.

My name is Chris *** I called your sales office today, and spoke with someone named Corey. He was very rude and hung up on me at the end of the call, when I told him I wanted to call him back on a more cheaper coverage plan. I dont have the number to file a complaint about that, so please forward this over to the complaint department in sales. Please let them know that they just lost an interested customer, because Corey from the Vehicle Warranty sales department is Very unprofessional !!

This company has been very helpful to us! Excellent customer service. Thank you.

the following story is almost identical to mine only I bought my truck from a dealer and purchased the warranty they denied three claims in six months for this exact reason one being the front drive shaft which they said given the mileage since I bought couldn't have possibly not been bad upon purchase???????!!!!! whatever that was suppose to mean as if I couldn't have driven off the lot and broke down immediately in which case should still be covered since I payed from that day forward and all up front.
then the ball joints went out same store we don't cover them because it must have been pr existing.
finally an already recalled part the fuel filter canister which is plastic??! broke and started spraying fuel to which they said it is not a listed part and they will not cover it. I feel robbed and wronged upon asking for a refund I'm told it will be a prorated refund because I have to pay them for the amount of mileage driven since the policy was instated and also the time although they offered no service to me. I am mortified that a company would write policies this way and it is sad to me they would do this to honest working class people as an active duty soldier, father, husband and working class American I recommend seeking some other coverage company.

Review
This is a review not a complaint. When I purchased my vehicle I purchased an extended warranty from the dealer that covered my car bumper to bumper. In shopping around after the initial purchase I came across this company and due to the total price difference and no interest payments I cancelled the original policy I purchased from dealer and replaced it with one from this company. It proved to be one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in a while. This company does not sell a product that adds the extra level of insurance one would be seeking or needing when a break down occurs. They exclude many critical components from coverage and don’t even mention many others at all in the policies. They will not approve any repair for anything not listed specifically in their policies. Even if said part is connected or embedded in a covered part. And with the language they use in their policies they simply have no legal obligation to do so. In my case, they denied a claim for a failed fuel injector. Fuel injectors as they are not mentioned anywhere in th policy are not covered. A repair of over one thousand dollars on my vehicle to my very unpleasant surprise. I do not fault Endurance for not paying my claim nor am I upset with their lack of service. Examining their policy you can clearly see that they are following it to the letter. The fault is all mine for swapping extended policies in the attempt to save money. The Extended policy was about two grand less than the one I had originally purchased with vehicle. Well this out of pocket repair has already consumed 80 percent of the savings Bottom line this company, is very astute with their contract language and sell services designed to take your money. But not pay for repairs. Be smarter than me. If you’re looking for an extended warranty because you think you might need to use it. This is not the right company nor product for that.

I simply am being forced to pay for a service I have not received.
In the contract it states that I am to pay the agreed amount for a warranty service to which I made three claims that were denied in other words I was offered no service and want a full refund the company refuses to give me anything more than 53% as I understand it.

Endurance Warranty Services Response

On May 8, 2017 the consumer purchased a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 with 158,491 miles from Tallgrass Motors. At the point of purchase, the consumer also bought an Endurance Apex Select Plus vehicle service contract.

Just four days later, on May 12, 2017, Enduance's Claims Department was called to initiate a claim stating the consumer reports that his check engine light is on, noise is coming from the front end of car, his mirror flood lights are inoperable and the pinion seal is leaking. Upon inspection, all of the failures were pre-existing, which means the failures pre-existed the sale of the car and thus, the sale of the vehicle service contract, and the claims were denied.

On October 27, 2017, Tallgrass Motors notified Endurance that the consumer requested to cancel his policy. According to the consumer's contract, "If this Contract is canceled after the first thirty (30) days, the unearned Contract purchase price will be refunded calculated on a pro-rata basis." Accordingly, Endurance provided a pro-rata refund to the customer.

Upon receiving the complaint from the Revdex.com, in the interest of customer service, Endurance agreed to provide the customer with a full refund.

I bought my warranty, waited the ridiculous grace and drove my recently purchased car for over 4000 miles before the transmission had a problem. Endurance now refuses to help and claims I had a previously existing issue. The transmission is SEALED and it drove fine for over 4000 miles and I'm supposed to know there's a problem beforehand. B. S. Multiple people jumped on the "we will refund you for your policy in full." I don't want the excuses. I want my car repaired and covered by the plan I purchased. *** COMPANY.

Endurance Warranty Services Response

On August 18, 2017 the customer contacted Endurance and purchased a Endurance Select Premier vehicle service contract for his 2004 *** with 92,096 miles on it. At the point of sale the customer was made aware of the coverage details including the 60 day and 1,000 miles waiting period. Upon his agreement to purchase the vehicle service contract the customer was transferred to Endurance's Verification Department where a Verification Representative went through what the contract covers for a second time and verified the customer's understanding of the terms of the contract. The customer was also provided a hard copy of the contract which was sent via USPS Critical Mail. The customer states in his complaint "waited the ridiculous grace..." however the customer knew at point of sale, over a recorded call, of the contract the specifics regarding the waiting period upon deciding the buy the contract. The waiting period exists in the contract in lieu of an inspection prior to the sale of the vehicle service contract and to avoid warranty fraud and pre-existing conditions in the after-market sale of a vehicle service contract. The first question that the customer's complaint creates is why is the customer so bothered by the waiting period if his car did not have any pre-existing conditions?

On October, 23, 2017 (6 days out of the waiting period), Endurance's Claims Department received a repair claim call from the customer's repair shop stating the customer's car was towed in and the customer reported the transmission was in "limp mode". Upon inspection the condition of the transmission was verified and the transmission fluid was burnt indicating a mechanical wear failure which happens over a period of time (preceding the waiting period), not just suddenly. Furthermore the customer admitted to clearing the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) prior to October 23, 2017 when his vehicle was brought into the repair facility. The customer cleared the data that would have proven the issue to be preexisting, admitted to doing so and admitted to driving the car with a known issue causing further damage. Clearing the DTC code and pursuing a repair claim approval is grounds for warranty fraud.

Per the vehicle service contract, "For any pre-existing condition, for any Breakdown or condition existing prior to the Effective Date and Mileage or occurring during the Waiting Period, or if the information provided by you, or the repair facility cannot be verified as accurate or is found to be deceptively inaccurate will not be covered." Pre-Existing conditions are not covered.

In the interest of customer service, Endurance attempted to come to an understanding with the customer and offered to cancel the policy and issue a full refund.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because the business' response is not inaccurate and they are trying to paint me as being dishonest. I will contact them to demand a full refund and I will not rest until the world knows about their slander ans dishonesty.

James *** handled my request in a professional and friendly manner. He was efficient but also took time to show personal caring. I had previously spoken with LaPorshia and Sergio, both of whom were also kind and helpful.

I've always had great experience dealing with the company. Top Rated At All Times.

Customer service with this company was excellent, they worked with me on a great deal. Unfortunately I bought a new vehicle and don't require extended coverage at the moment. I'll surely recommends others to them, they are affordable and helpful with a person's needs.

Good customer service.

I would like to file a complaint against the company, Endurance Warranty Services, LLC. For going on two years I have been receiving mail from them addressed to my minor child. When I started getting mail he was 11 years-old. They have been trying to sell him an extended warranty on a ***. My son has never owned a ***. I have never owned a ***.

I called them twice, maybe three times within the past 18-months, and was reassured each time that his name would be removed from their database and that never occurred. The notices have continued to come. The most recent was dated 9/30/2017 with vehicle code ***.

I recently talked to Mr. Marinelli, Director of Customer Service and would like to say it was very enjoyable. Mr. Marinelli answered my questions in a very professional manner. He answered all of my questions favorabliy.

I received a text message about my late payment today. Life is so busy and it wasn't payday yet. So I wasn't able to do anything. I was offered to set up a one time auto payment for my pay date. The rep texting me (Alexis) was so pleasant and accommodating. We took care of everything via text! How cool is that! Thank you Endurance for this communication option. Sometimes it's just too hard to sit on a phone call.

Today I called to file a claim on my *** Accord and was greeted with a lovely young lady named Sheila who walked me through the whole process and now my car will be back on the road in no time!

An excellent experience! Daniel *** helped me a ton in the cancellation of my policy. I particularly liked that he was very transparent about the fees and refunds that would happen.
I will definitely consider signing up with Endurance in the future!
