Thanks so much to Sheila for all her help today.

When bought the warranty I was told even tho my car had over 100k miles that it would be covered bumper to bumper just like a new cars warranty. However 4 months into I had a failed component inside my transmission the claim was denied. The used the Gradual reduction in performance clause in there contract saying the failure was due to the mileage and age of the part. The claims manager told me several times this was correct and he was a master tech and I don't know anything. He then called the dealership a "Stealership" several times and said they were just out to get claims. I would suggest look at other warranty companies because this clause in the contract can and will be applied to everything.

Deceptive advertising received in mail from "Department of Automobile Records".

Scare tactics are used.

This kind of advertising can cause undue alarm in the elderly or mentally challenged.

I feel is unethical.

I would never do business with this company.

She was very helpful, resolved my problem. She is nice & great at her job.

I don't even own a car, however I just received a deceptive mail advertisement from EWS that looks like a threatening final notice to pay a bill. Of course it's not actually a bill, it's an advertisement (as it states in very small print). It looks like it's aim is to take advantage of people who can't tell the difference. There are prominent phone numbers to CALL IMMEDIATELY (and of course "Se Habla Español").

I am file this complaint because I was sold a extended car warranty that told to me by your customer service rep after mentioning the t warranties that would have fix my vehicle. My car started to burn oil more frequently as well as me add coolant more often. I took it to the deal to have it checked and paid out of pocket $165.21. But prior to doing this I contact Endurance and talked to a young man who went over my contract and told was a good one, and that I should take it to a certified *** specialist, rather than take it to the service center at ***. My thoughts was that it would be less money endurance would have to payout. That did not set good with me, so after talking to a certified *** specialist, I was told to take it to *** service center and have it checked. He was informed by me that I had an extended warranty and felt it was best to have *** service center to check the vehicle out to find out what was going on. I took the vehicle to *** service center and the car was diagnosis with a leaking water pump due to seal and gaskets worn, also that the thermostat need replacing, On November 20, 2017 a investigator from Endurance came in and took pics and sent his recommendation back to Endurance. On the same day 11/30/2017 my service tech called me and informed me that Endurance had denied my claim and refuse to pay for any of the repairs that my vehicle need. I cal Vek at endurance at 1:25pm and we went back and forth about the policy and he informed me that the water was under the warranty by seals and gaskets were not. I realized that your company sold me a warranty that was a dude and you have been automatically taking monthly payments for this dude warranty, I see were your comany has hand picked out the all the major components to the engine, transmission, electrical, cooling system, fuel system and seals and gaskets. I am a veteran who lives on a fix income and I googled the best car extended warranty and your company came up as the #1. I truly beg the difference. I am totally upset with your company scamming people and especially veterans and senior citizens. So I am going on a campaign to let the citizens of USA know just what type company is be ran under the name of Endurance Warranty Services.

I purchased an Endurance warranty on my 2007 *** 5 years ago a year after I bought the car. I bought the Supreme Used policy. I have used the warranty 5 or 6 times since and I am very pleased with it. I had a seat rack that went bad, a u-joint problem, a shift cable replaced, a shifter replaced, and most recently my trunk release. I would rate the policy a "5" and will purchase another if the need arises . Good product (and the salesgirl is nice to look at too!)

Since having signed up with this warranty program I had a major breakdown on my car. The engine started to make alot of noise. When I signed up I was told any issue arise in my car I just submit a claim pay a deductable and Im done and back on the road. Well with this unethical company all they do is mislead and skate around their portion of responsibility. Ot has been six weeks since my car has been broke down and no work has been done. They have tried everything to get out of paying for this repair with multiple documents over and over requested of me multiple inspections trying to prove the dealership wrong on diagnosis. Finally they approve it with what they told me on multiple occasions this would be repaired with a reman or remanufactured engine. And it would be crated and zero miles on the engine. It comes today arriving at the dealer on a pallet wrapped in saran wrap and oil running down the side all weathered up and risted. They lied to me so many times and Im into a contract where I am supposed to hold my end up but they can lie deceive and cut corners please help me. My car is immaculate and doesnt deserve a greasy rusty engine.

Endurance Warranty Services Response

On September 27, 2017 the customer contacted Endurance and purchased an Endurance Supreme Used vehicle service contract for his 2010 *** CX-9 with 71,566 miles on the vehicle.

According to the Endurance Supreme Used vehicle service contract Section V. Breakdown - "Replacement of Covered Parts that have experienced a Breakdown may be made with original equipment manufacturer parts, non-original equipment manufacturer parts, re-manufacturered parts or used parts at the Administrator's discretion."

On November 24, 2017 Endurance's Claims Department authorized the customer's engine repair. The customer was under the impression that the engine was a re-manufactured engine, however Endurance authorized a used engine for the replacement.

Endurance's Customer Service Manager spoke to the customer, explained that the customer is getting a used engine and the engine comes with a parts warranty for the remainder of his policy. The customer understood and accepted the engine replacement.

They constantly send me spammy things in the mail saying that my warranty is running out and that I need to renew but I do not have a warranty through this company. They also spam call me and refuse to add me to their do not call list.

I have to say upon contacting the representative Ian *** by phone about a contract questions I have seldom had such professionalism when dealing with other companies. He listened to my advisement's & questions, addressed every concern I had, and performed all actions in the manner needed in my situation. When you are getting a contract you can't just look at contract coverage for your car, but you have to look at customer service as it's a large part of the contract. In this case Endurance is a leader.

I called to find out how to file a claim thinking it would be a nightmare but to my surprise it was super easy and the customer service was great. I spoke with Sheila and she clearly explained to me what I needed to do and put me at ease. Now my vehicle is back on the road thanks to Endurance.

I have received numerous renewal notices in the mail from this company. I don't not (nor ever) had an account with them and I do not know how they have information on me as well as my car. I have written to them that I wish for them to stop sending me these "notices". But, I have not heard any responses from them.

Endurance Warranty Services Response

Endurance is a certified member of the Vehicle Protection Association (VPA). As a certified member, Endurance follows the VPA's Standards of Conduct. The Standards state that any vehicle service contract selling company must identify itself in the mail piece and Endurance abides by this Standard.

Unfortunately, there are companies that are sending out mail solicitations without a return address which is terribly confusing and frustrating for consumers. The consumer received one mail piece from Endurance. It is very possible that the consumer received mail solicitations from other vehicle service contract sellers, however the consumer thought he received other mail pieces from Endurance.

We are sorry about the consumer's frustration and placed the consumer on our internal "Do Not Mail" mailing database to make sure he does not receive any future direct mail advertisements from our company.

Customer Response

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely,

Michael

Was surprised that if my husband gets a contract on his ***, I will get a 50.00 gas card. Shelia was an informed person answering my questions. I will renew when it is time.

I purchased the Select Premier 60 - 1000 warranty from Endurance Direct Automotive Warranties. I was told when I contacted the company after looking at the Revdex.com rating of these aftermarket warranty companies and spoke with a customer representative agent that told me the best warranty I can get for my motor vehicle considering it's a year and mileage was the Premiere Select 60/1000. I was told that this particular warranty for my motor vehicle was very close to an automotive manufacturers bumper to bumper warranty and then he went on to explain what all was covered. What he failed to tell me was that none of these components were covered if they experienced failure due to average wear and tear or end of life expectancy usage. That is just one of their claws and this warranty. Another one of their clauses and this warranty states that no item will be covered if it is found that the items failure was due to misuse or abuse. I contacted the warranty company and explain to them that I believed my front CV axle joint was failing. The individual that I contacted told me to take the vehicle to a local shop of my choice give them a copy of the warranty and have them submit the repair requirements and information. Also known as a diagnosis repair sheet. I contacted my local automotive service center that specialized in my particular vehicle which is *** and arrange to drop the vehicle off. I dropped the vehicle off and several hours later was contacted by the shop and told that there was a discrepancy with the mileage of my vehicle and that the claim had been denied. I then contacted Endurance Direct. The individual that I spoke with their told me that there was 200 miles difference between what I reported was on the vehicle when I first called and started the warranty and what the oil service center had reported when I took the vehicle for its first oil change. The gentleman further stated that because the discrepancy was so small and I had the oil changed in such a timely fashion they were willing to overlook that small misunderstanding. So I asked him was the required work therefore going to be covered. The gentleman stated no it would not. I asked the gentleman on what grounds was the claim being denied. The gentleman explain to me that any part that fails due to regular wear and tear or end of service life failure was not covered under my warranty but that these parts would have been covered under my circumstances had I purchased the next teir of warranty service. Unfortunately my vehicles year and mileage made it an eligible for that warranty teir.. I asked him how it that a part was covered under my particular warranty. I was told that the only way that Parts would be covered under my particular warranty tear was due to lack of manufacturing quality or improper installation of a part. That any part found to have been abused or misused would not be covered. Therefore can easily be said that a lack of Quality Inn apart would be repairable or replaceable by the manufacturer. And that a part that was improperly installed would have to be repaired and replaced by the installer due to improper installation. Therefore this warranty covers nothing. Absolutely nothing. I cannot State at this time how much money I actually had wrapped up and this warranty over monthly payments I believe it close to $1,200. The company was gracious enough to waive my cancellation fee and remit to me $411 for not using the warranty at all. Because I did cancel the warranty completely. I then contacted the Revdex.com 2 write a complaint. And I was directed to endurance website to submit my complaint to their help desk first. Which I have done. I've been contacted the repairs facility to inform them that the warranty had been canceled and what I was told by the warranty companies representative. They got a good laugh out of that I did too until I was told that the bill owed on my car for the warranty companies required diagnosis was over $600. I have yet to receive word from endurance on how they're going to handle my particular situation after filing my complaint through their help desk. But I will keep this post up to date on that. But at this point in time I do not see how the Revdex.com can give this company in a plus rating. They are scam artists they are scam artists. If this company is not owned and operated by thieves and scam artists there has never been a thief or scam artist on the face of this planet.

The company is sending me regular robocalls and letters stating that my car warranty is expired. The letters are formatted to look like legal notices, and not advertisements.. Given that I never had a manufacturers warranty on my used vehicle (among other reasons), I know that this is deceptive advertising, and when I called back the number listed the sales person would not deny that they were lying. I have told the representatives twice that I no longer wish to be contacted, to no avail.

Endurance Warranty Services Response

Endurance is sorry about the consumer's frustration and Endurance placed the consumer on our company's internal "take me of the list" database to ensure he does not receive any future advertisements from our company.
