It was my first time every using a warranty company for my 2002 ***, and I have to say the customer serverice has been great I’m in the middle of getting my *** repaired and it feels good to have someone on your side to help you along the way, And thank you to Johnny everyone at Endurance

purchased car warranty. transmission failed. Was told due it being the belt in the transmission that it was not covered. zero !! due to wear and tear. Was told today by James a supervisor that they have a policy that covers wear and tear but my car did not qualify for that. Why was I not told that prior to purchasing a warranty that has proved to be worth zero dollars. The customer service is less than average, way below actually. I have ask for help, escalation to upper mgmt, I get nothing. I have waiting three weeks plus for them to decide to even approve or disapprove, out of a call and they really don't care. Then they find a loop hole excuse knowing the mileage of the car when I purchased the warranty. Sorry excuse for a company and sorry customer service.

Endurance's Customer Resolutions Manager reached out to the consumer to resolve. In the interest of customer service, Endurance has reimbursed the consumer the full amount paid for the contract, plus additional funds towards the repair.

*** Tracking indicates that the reimbursement check was delivered to the consumer's address on 12/3.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely,

Timohty

I purchased a Vehicle Warranty from Endurance Auto and they are trying to deny coverage stating that the claims they paid out are worth more than the vehicle itself. They are putting my vehicle worth at about $3,400. I have a 2011 *** Leaf with 43k miles on it. The average selling price on a leaf with this much is about $7000. I looked at KBB and they gave a private party value range of $5,397 to $7,537 with a private party value of $6,510 as the average.

The heater went out on my leaf and should be covered per the warranty, but they are claiming that they already paid out more than the vehicle worth, so they will not cover any repairs. The *** Dealership wants to charge $2800 for the repair.

Please be advised, the consumer's contract has met its limit of liability. The limit of liability per the consumer's contract (attached), pg. 3 is as follows:

"VII. LIMIT OF LIABILITY: The aggregate limit of liability shall be the lesser of, the average trade-in value of the Vehicle as provided by the NADA Guides or the purchase price of the Vehicle as provided by a Bill of Sale. Our liability for incidental and consequential damages including, but not limited to, personal injury, physical damage, property damage, loss of use of Your Vehicle, loss of time, loss of wages, inconvenience, and commercial loss resulting from the operation, maintenance, or use of Your Vehicle is expressly excluded."

Please note that Endurance uses the trade-in value as posted by the National Automobile Dealers Association. The average trade-in value of this vehicle, with its current mileage, is $3200. For reference, the listing can be seen online at https://www.nadaguides.com.

To date, nearly $3900 in claims have been paid on this contract. As this amount exceeds the limit of liability, the contract has paid its maximum.

Please be advised, the consumer's vehicle is eligible for a new contract with a new limit of liability, if the consumer chooses. Although any current failure will not be covered under the new contract, future failures would be eligible.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

It is a 2011 *** Leaf with 40k miles. I have looked online on KBB and CarGurus, which has cars for sale. They are all above 7k. The car cost 40k when new as well, and the cost of repair is made to reflect that. That trade in value that you provided is a very low calculation and you are using that value to skimp on not paying for the claim.

Sincerely,

Ashish

It was a blessing how endurance helped me through my struggling time. I forget the guy's name but he deserves 10 stars.
Thank you
Luther

I had purchased a plan and was not fully sold on my decision. After speaking with Michael today in Chicago . I was very pleased with how he was willing to go above and beyond in making and keeping me as a satisfied customer. He did a great ! He was knowledgeable , well spoken and willing to share several options until I was happy with my decision.

Great work Michael from Northbrook via Atlanta....

Constant Harassment. Despite telling them no multiple times they will not leave you alone.

Hi I contacted endurance car warranty a few months ago to get an extended warranty for my car *** GL 450 2012 for $168 a month, today 11/26/2018 I went to the dealer for repair because I was hearing noisy sounds coming from the front suspension. after diagnostics, the dealer told me that I need to change the front axle left and right, the dealer contact the warranty company (claim department) at , but the representative of the claim department rejected the claim because the grease of the both for the front axle came out and it might affected the axles, which I think its a scam to not pay for the repair, I contacted them myself and they were very disrespectful, specially someone called Ashley who hang up on me. they are scam and they have their way to not pay for the repair.

Please be advised, Endurance is the selling agent of this contract. The administrator is United Car Care (UCC). This means that UCC is responsible for the administration (approval or denial) of claims and Endurance is not involved in this decision.

Upon receipt of this complaint, Endurance reviewed the details of the claim from UCC. The diagnosis provided to UCC's Claims Department was an initial failure of the CV axle boots. The boots tore, leaking out lubricant. Subsequent to this failure, the axles failed due to lack of lubrication. As the axles boots are not listed for coverage and the axles failed to due the failure of the boots, the axles repair was declined by UCC.

At this time, Endurance would like to pursue other means of assistance with the consumer. Endurance's Customer Resolutions Manager reached out to the consumer on 12/6 and left a voicemail to this effect.

I am rejecting this response because: Endurance is the middle man between me and UCC, they represent them and UCC is using the loophole to not repair the Axle! I spoke with *** and their Mechanice assured me that the problem is the axle and that affected the boot and made it leak . I want UCC to send me to one of their repair facility in NJ for a second opinion and free of charge , because the issue is the axle .

Sincerely,

Soad

Please be advised, Endurance is the selling agent of this contract. The administrator is United Car Care (UCC). This means that UCC is responsible for the administration (approval or denial) of claims and Endurance is not involved in this decision.

Upon receipt of this complaint, Endurance reached out to UCC to make the best case for the consumer's claim to continue. At this time, UCC has upheld the denial and as no additional evidence has been presented of a different cause of failure, UCC has declined to send an additional inspector.

If the consumer wishes to move the vehicle to a different repair facility for a second opinion, the consumer is able to do so. Endurance recommends that, if the consumer does move the vehicle, that the consumer use their complimentary Roadside Assistance to tow the vehicle, as this will be provided at no cost and will help prevent further damage to the vehicle.

This company lies from the very beginning. Wants a inspector for a covered part on the contract because its not an exclusion on the Supreme Contract. I paid in full on time my warranty policy and I have been heavily inconvenienced because an inspector has to go to the dealership only to find out the same thing the technician said. That the servomotor in the ac unit is bad and the code even confirms it. But instead of approving the work im now waiting for probably a reason to deny my claim for some crazy reason. Reps are rude and they will not tell you before you buy the warranty an inspector wil be calle out 100 percent of the time. After multiple calls a rep Steve Karras assured me the supervisor in claims would call the dealership and approve an alternative inspection by allowing techs to take pictures and send then to claims for an approval. After waiting for a few hours I now find out that they denied that request which confirms they are trying to deny my claim on something NOT excluded. There is NO reason to delay this over a 200 dollar part and labor. They act like they know more about my vehicle than an actual *** technician! They stated they need to find out the cause....how is that when its a electrical component that is known to go out just like anything else. This is a scam...do NOT go with this company. They ill find any way to deny you and lie. They only have A ratings because they are soft and sweet to sell the plan...but read further and you will see the negatives are denials of claims. It doesnt take a genius to read the exclusions and see its not there!

On 11/23, a representative from *** of Orlando contacted the Endurance Claims department to file a claim for repairs on the consumer's vehicle. The repair facility reported failures to the damper servo, with an estimate totalling to approximately $1800. Due to the severity of the failure, an independent third party inspector was dispatched to confirm the failures reported by the repair facility.

As 11/23 was a Friday, the inspector arrived on 11/26, the next business day after the request.

On 11/27, Endurance authorized the repair of the damper servo.

On 11/29, Endurance received the signed invoice for completed repairs and issued payment to the repair facility.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: nowhere in the contract does it say when a repair hits $1500 a inspector has to come out per policy. You have no problem taking money from people but when it comes time to pay out you sure know how to delay a customers repair and cause undue burdens on us. You claim customer service is what you strive at. I beg to differ. I showed up at an appointment that Friday early and the tech said it could be done before the end of the day. Instead of listening to a technician and service advisor telling you exactly what the problem was which was a 200 dollar failed servomotor, you opted to make myself wait through the weekend and into the following week. That is NOT customer service. If it had been a major mechanical like transmission or engine rebuild I would totally understand. But this was a small electronic part that triggered an inspector based off labor. Anyone with a bit of common sense understands that car repairs can easily hit 1500 dollars nowadays. This is an obvious tactic to try and find the slightest thing to deny a claim. My claim yes was ultimately approved. That is not my sole complaint. It is the fact of what you put me through and the things your cs reps told me that Friday that you ultimately decided against to make me wait. Not everyone has all the time in the world to wait as many days as I did for a part that even the computer triggered a code confirming the faulty part behind the dash. An inspector would have not made ANY difference being there or not. So again this is about the customer service not the repair itself.

Sincerely,

Mike

This company is a scam. Don't fall for their lies. They send you a letter, not sure where they get their data but don't be fooled into believing they are legitimate. They will simply take your money. period. Throw any letters you get from this company away. It should be illegal to commit theft by deception......oh wait, it is. File a complaint with the FTC and FCC.

I filed a claim to have my vehicle fixed and in the process Endurance asked for proof that the vehicle has had the proper service.. I submitted the receipt from the shop that performed the service and it was hand written because at the time that the service was done their computer and printer was down..Endurance denied the claim and told me to get a printed receipt so I went back to the shop and had the shop owner print me one out .When I submitted the printed one they denied the claim and said it wasnt orignal and accused me of falsifying documents and begin comparing me to other customers that have committed fraud. I've contacted Endurance several times about this and keep getting blown off. I called them yesterday and now they are trying to say that I was was trying to cancel my policy and that was never the case.

Endurance Warranty Services Response • Dec 06, 2018

At this time, the handwritten document and the recreated printed document are under review by Endurance's Director of Claims. Endurance's Customer Resolution Manager reached out the consumer and left a voicemail advising of the secondary review. The Resolution Manager will be in contact with the consumer during the review and resolution process.

I got help with Eddie *** he did a good job

Eddy *** at endurance was able to help me in my difficult time.

Very fast, helpful and understanding. Would recommend!

Very helpful at the end

I would recommend anyone to this company ,Derrick was very helpful in getting me infromation I needed ,very polite and respectful true gentleman.

I had the Endurance Platinum Plan, I sold the truck that was covered by Endurance and bought a new car that was covered with the factory warranty, no longer needing the balance of my warranty I asked for the refund balance, it was a little over $200. I submitted all the paperwork and was told my check would be mailed out within 5 business days, 5 days past and no check, I called them again and turns out both had been done however they did verify that they had all the required paperwork for my refund. It’s now been 3 weeks and still no check. I won’t be doing business with Endurance again.

Be careful with this company. This is usually a well conceived scam and they just sell extended warranties for other companies, which means that they are no going to take care of your car. I made a claim and before that ,everything was good. After I made a claim they referred me to some other extended warranty ripoff and they were really rude and they hung up the phone on me ;they paid for half of the repairs and I was left hanging with another bill to pay for. I tell you, don't fall for this. if you want peace of mind , buy it, but be prepared to deal with disappointment. I just hope your peace of mind can help you with it .Most of the reviews I read here, and are positive, are related to the hook up process , where they are corteuos , until your car breaks .You'd better put 100 bucks in the bank every month and hope for the best instead of giving your money away to folks like this .Good luck and dont be surprised , warranty companies are in the business of making money , not helping people or fixing cars .

I have requested this company stop sending me their advertisements in the mail and stop telephoning me regarding their services for well over a year. They have ignored every single request both written and verbal to remove my name from their contact list. I have told them their constant contact has become harassment and that I will report them, yet I STILL get contacted by them. I am at my wits end with this company that will not leave me alone. I am not interested in their services, I am not going to become interested in their services and I want them to leave me alone! What is it going to take?

I am writing this complaint for my 88 year old mother (whom I have Power of Attorney for) that inadvertently signed up for a warranty on her 11 year old car. She had received repeated mailings from Endurance indicating "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE IS REQUESTED" "CALL TO VERIFY" to update her auto file. Unknowingly she made a call and signed up for warranty service she thought or told she needed. Her judgment and memory is impaired and she did not understand and need this overpriced warranty service. When I took over her finances about a month later I saw this bill and payment that was made. I immediately called Endurance to cancel the contract and request a full refund. I was sent a cancellation form that took them 2 months to process. No refund was received. I called to day to follow up and found out she actually made two payments and they would waive the cancellation fee and send me a partial reimbursement. When I explained the situation about my 88 year old mother living alone on fixed income and asked for full refund the service person was very short with me and said that's all they could do and would send a check out today (not confident I will see it). Very unhappy with this resolution as I feel they took advantage of an elderly person and refused to do the right thing.

Endurance Warranty Services Response • Dec 03, 2018

On 11/19, the consumer contacted Endurance to request cancellation of the contract. The contract was subsequently cancelled by request and a pro-rata refund issued. The pro-rata refund was mailed out on 11/19 to the consumer's address on file.

Jenessa was one of the most helpful customer service representative that I have ever encountered. She took a personal interest in me and my situation. I would highly recommend Endurance Warranty Services!
