This company keeps calling me about an extended warranty for my vehicle which is 14 yrs old and I am getting rid of. I have never done business with this company or have any reason to, but they keep sending me alert notices by mail as well as calling my number constantly. To me this is a form of harassment and they should be made to stop.

THEY SEND LETTERS WITH STATEMENT / EWS-VEHICLE SERVICES DIVISION RE:VEHICLE ALERT NOTICE, IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED. INSIDE IT SAYS : OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE NOT CONTACTED US TO CONFIRM YOUR SERVICE CONTRACT IS UP TO DATE.

THIS IS VERY MISLEADING AND CAN CAUSE PEOPLE TO THINK THEY NEED TO CONTACT AND PAY FOR SOMETHING THEY NEVER HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS IS QUITE DANGEROUS FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MAY BE ELDERLY AND NOT QUICK WITTED, AS WELL FOR THOSE WHO ARE OF LESS INTELLECT. IT TOOK ME SEVERAL TIMES TO REREAD IT THE FIRST TIME I RECEIVED THIS SCAM MAIL TO FIGURE IT OUT. IT ANGERS ME, AND I FEEL THEY ARE CAUSING MANY PEOPLE TO BE VIOLATED BY THEM. I NEVER HAD A CONTRACT WITH THEM AND HOW DARE THEY SEND THIS TO ME AND OTHERS MAKING IT LOOK LIKE WE DID! THEY ARE CHEATING PEOPLE WITH THIS WORDING.

Endurance is sorry for the frustration that its mail piece caused the consumer. As a result of the consumer's complaint, Endurance has added the consumer to our internal "Do Not Mail" database to ensure that she does not receive any further mailed advertisements from Endurance. Please allow 10 business days for this to be processed. The consumer may receive additional mail pieces during this processing time.

ZERO STARS! I signed up for my warranty in June 15, 2018. I bought and paid for the top coverage because it was the only coverage to cover all components besides wear and tear. I have a ***, I want to take great care of it, and Endurance gave me the confidence in them. BUT before I knew it, I was ripped off out of hundred of dollars that could have gone to my vehicle repair.
Yesterday (1-4-19), I took my truck to a shop because it was having an issue. I was sure it was covered and not from "wear and tear." My car was diagnosed, I gave the mechanic the information for my extended warranty, and we called Endurance. We were transferred. Then after providing all my information we were told my warranty was not with Endurance. We were transferred again ( and provided this number 866.590.8420). We got on the line with this company "United Care" (I believe) they took all my info again, the mechanic described the problem, and then he was told "it was not covered." I got on the phone and asked why, where, and how to be provided in writing. I was transferred to another person to get me this information.
I was ready to cancel my policy, at this point it had no value and just taking my money. I spoke to a lady (I do not know her name) about why I called and she said "let me see what I can do for you since it's not covered." She offered me the $208 off (meaning not to pay this month's bill) and $400 off for my next/future bills. Then, she began to ask my mechanic some questions (parts, price, labor, total cost). It appeared as if she could cover my issue but was trying to avoid the full responsibility of the total cost for my repairs. This was so confusing. So my mechanic asked for clarification, "so is she covered?" She jumps down his throat claiming that he's trying to rip me off when the biggest rip off was THIS COMPANY. She said he was badgering her. I was appalled at how rude she was being to this mechanic. She did not let me interject or say anything. After listening to her go off on us, I finally I said to her "Mam, I don't have the ability to ride around town when my vehicle needs repairs. If you can offer me to take off the $600 (the cost of my repair) why can't you just pay this man? This man is an honest man (which he was a recommendation and does great work) and he is being kind to you." I was in disbelief on how she talked to us.
This was the behavior of someone trying to deceive a person. She was very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and high tempered which is unusual characteristics of a typical customer service representative. She definitely needs some training and a position where she's not in contact with the public. No one deserves to be treated in this manner. But to continue the call, I asked her to calm down, and to not to be emotional so I can get the answers I need. I explained this is my first time making a claim (which was a terrible experience), I need my vehicle repaired, and I've been paying this insurance on time monthly. She hung up on me. My vehicle is still not repaired and after calling back I have been transferred, transferred, and transferred!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!
CANCEL THE POLICY!!! THERE IS ANOTHER WAY.
HERE IS HOPE: FIND/GET A RECOMMENDATION FOR A GREAT & HONEST MECHANIC.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I PAID THEM OVER $1500 FOR NOTHING! THEY DIDN'T WANT TO PAY A $600 JOB! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! ENDURANCE IS RUNNING A SCAM!
They lie and say they are A+ rated, THEY ARE NOT. They will gladly take your money and tell you they won't repair your car BUT STILL do not want you to CANCEL your policy. This company has insulted my intelligence, DON'T LET IT BE YOU!

Gordon was very helpful and pleasant to deal with over the phone, especially since we had cancelled a new warranty repair contract, but were subsequently billed for it. He confirmed the cancellation by email which we appreciate very much and put me at ease. He was very courteous and has an exceptional way of dealing with people. I wish that all contract managers were as helpful as he was. If I need a warranty repair contract in the future I will most certainly consider ENDURANCE.

I purchased an extended warranty for my 2012 *** from ***, for Endurance Warranty. I took the vehicle into a mechanic due to a ticking noise. No other issues were present showing any issue, no check engine light, no misfiring. Mechanic states due to rocker bearing going out it caused wiping out of cam lobe, further inspection found engine debris in oil filter, recommends replacing engine. Endurance denied our claim stating that since I did not have the car towed to mechanics shop I was at fault for engine failure. There was no indication of any issue other than a noise. I was told no automotive knowledge is no excuse to not have it towed. That makes zero sense! I call *** and am in the process of demanding my money back! Please everyone BEWARE of this company! They will take your money and NOT fulfill the contract!!!

Endurance Warranty Services Response • Jan 08, 2019

Upon receipt of this complaint, Endurance performed an internal audit of the consumer's vehicle service contract and claim. Our audit involved reviewing internal notes regarding the consumer's claim, as well as the report from an independent, third-party inspector, and call recordings with both the consumer and repair facility. Once the audit was completed, the decision to decline the engine repair claim was upheld due to continued operation failures. Endurance did agree to authorize the cost of the initial failure of the rocker arm.

After discussion with the consumer, Endurance has instead approved AutoAssure to provide a full refund to the consumer in the interest of customer service, pending the consumer's completion of the necessary documentation. Endurance's Dispute Resolution Manager reached out to the consumer on 1/8 and the consumer accepted this offer. Once Endurance receives the necessary documentation, AutoAssure will provide a full refund.

April was fantastic. Before I even completed asking, she knew what I needed and emailed me the necessary info. She gave great customer service.

When ever I call to make my payment. I always get great customer service. I've been telling my friends about Endurance. One of my friends said she's going to check in to it. Today again I had great customer service and peace of mind. If you need a extended warranty Endurance is it.

Jeff was very knowledgeable, thorough, courteous, and friendly. He answered all of my questions correctly and explained the difference between my current overlapping policy and my new policy. Whereas the first representative that I spoke with, was not very knowledgeable at all, and left me VERY confused, resulting in frustration and an immediate call back. Endurance please ensure that all of your representatives are educated, and properly trained to answer all and any questions.

Great people to work with! Unfortunately, I had bought the extended warranty not realizing we were already covered for mechanical breakdown on our current insurance policy. So we decided to cancel this service. They made it super easy to cancel and held true to their 30 day money back guarantee. Will definitely do business with them in the future and recommend them to family and friends

In times of corporate change we all feel the squeeze in our pockets. So when you have to make a choice in your financial matters to get through the corporate change, most businesses turn a deaf ear to your situation, because bottom line they need the money to stay in business as well. Today my phone call with acct mgr Mary was so refreshing and I truly know she understood our situation. Yes, she did her job very well keeping a customer, but it was her understanding and heart felt rapport with no pressure saying it was MY Choice. I'm thankful for Mary being on the other to listen. Endurance and Mary are a great team to go into 2019 with. Thank You..Charles G

These people from Endurance Warranty Services are sending me a lot of letters to my house. I called them so they can stop sending these letters and they said that they will keep sending advertising because according to them the information they have about me is public. And that what they are doing is not illegal. How these people can do this type of stuffs without having any type of regulations from the state of Texas? This is annoying. I am getting like three to four letters in the mail every month. The local dealerships have to stop selling these companies their customers information. Since I went to a local dealership is when I started receiving these letters. They have many addresses one in 5085 W. Park Blvd, suite 160, Plano, TX 75093, other in the state of Illinois. Their letters look like the one from the ***. Customers and Clients have to have privacy on their personal information.
