Hi,Please be advised that we have received this claim beyond our day buyer protection periodCardCash is a gift card marketplace where millions of sellers can sell their unwanted pre-owned gift cards at a discountCardCash checks the balance at the time of the listing Statistically only a very small percentage of our cards have issues where the seller used the gift card or it got canceled after we have checked the balance at the time of the listing The percentages are kept very low because of all the proprietary fraud technology and KYC measures CardCash has working behind the scenesBuying from any Marketplace involves the classical Risk vs Reward decisionConsumers shopping on a marketplace can save up to 35% but will at times receive cards that are invalid or have a balance discrepancy This is not something we can control However, in order to make our customers feel a bit more comfortable we offer a day buyer protection guaranteeCardCash encourages all of its customers to use the cards within that time period and if they encounter an issue to immediately let us knowWe also require that all claims to be submitted to us within that day period as that increases the probability of reaching the original seller and receiving a refund from him or herIn such situations, if CardCash cannot recoup the funds from the original seller it will take the loss as part of its guarantee and issue a refund to the customerFor claims submitted beyond the day period, CardCash will still attempt to request a refund from the original seller but if unsuccessful , CardCash cannot absorb any additional liability and is very clear about this policy all over the website. In your situation, we were unfortunately unsuccessful in recouping funds from the original seller and cannot offer any refunds for this order since it is beyond the day period This day buyer protection guarantee is clearly posted on the sidebar of our websiteSee for example [redacted] in addition it is clearly stipulated in the terms and conditions of the site, which customers accept prior to using our site and making a purchase For more information about our day guarantee please see here [redacted] We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, however at CardCash we firmly believe we took the appropriate steps to alert the customers of our day buyer protection period

Hi,As a gift card reseller we allow customers around the country to sell us their unwanted gift cards for a percentage of the actual value of the card.As part of the sell process we check the balance that is available on the cardWhen the order in question was put through our system we checked the balance of the card and found it only contained $instead of the $that the customer had originally claimedAs per policy we denied the sale and did not take ownership of the card.Upon receiving the customer complaint falsely alleging that we used the card balance we reached out to [redacted] and confirmed that the card balance had actually been used on 7/22/2017, the day before the customer put through the order on our site. The customer has either used the balance herself or has had her balance stolen by a third party, either way we can emphatically state that CardCash would never use the balance of a gift card and then deny the order
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Business has failed to inform me about investigation that has been conducted about fraudulent activity on those cards even if they have had all log and access to all transactionsIf those fradulent transactions were made within days since the purchase, in my understanding business is still liable for those and full amount of fraudulent transaction should be coveredUp to this point business has failed to inform me about the results of their investigation (according to their Customer Service there was one) Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the selling of the e-gift cards was supposed to have been backed by a physical card Of the e-cards I purchased, now show a zero balance (and we did NOT use them), and show a lower balance than what was purchased (and we did NOT use them) Yes, I understand the day guideline - but obviously Card Cash NEVER had the physical card in the first place I have spoken with [redacted] Corporate and they have instructed their stores not to accept any of the Merchandise Credit cards unless the customer has the original Blue card - the paper copies that Card Cash is sending out will not be accepted So even though some of my cards still show the original balance - they can not be used unless you have the original Merchandise Credit card So - my question remains - where are the physical cards and why have the balance on some the e-cards gone to zero with out me using them? Regards, Jeffrey Ludlow
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It does nothing to actually address my statementsThey are not stating they will remove my credit card informationThey are not addressing the fact that they take personal data and then deny transactions and give no reason, almost like they want people to just go elsewhere and leave their personal data behindOr they are just massively incompetent Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I filed a complaint against Card Cash, which you have now closed Are you aware that Card Cash is selling gift cards that are fraudulent? Why would you continue to allow that to happen? We've purchased from Card Cash many times in the past for McDonald's Gift cards, ect, and those gift cards were legitimate, and we were able to use themAfter having this problem with the Ross gift card that my wife purchased, from speaking with Ross Corporate office in California, that gift card that we purchased from Card Cash was for an item that was returned to a Ross store on February 4th, That is why the gift card wasn't a card, but a piece of paper, folded with a sticky back to itRoss corporate policy is that gift cards issued to customers for returned items can not change hands The person who returned the item must use the gift card When that person sold that card to Card Cash, who in turn sold it to us, we were violating Ross policy, and the transaction was fraudulentThe $balance on that gift card account, which Ross closed, were frozen and can only be returned to the person who purchased the cardAs for Ross gift cards purchased in the store, they explained to me that they don't allow gift cards to be used by others, due to the fact that a customer, using a stolen credit card and fake ID, could purchase a $or $gift card, sell it for money (to Card Cash or somebody else), until the transaction is reported, and the credit card deactivatedYou choosing to not follow up on this is wrong Card Cash is knowingly selling gift cards that can not be transferred You need to report this to the Attorney Generals office for this matter to be looked into further [redacted] ( [redacted] Regards, [redacted]
Hi, Customer has been refunded for all the gift cards he was not able to useRefund as sent back to the method of payment used at the time of the purchase
